so my little sister and I have been watching through Clara's run as companion on Doctor Who and we just watched The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar last night and apparently no, I will never in fact be able to handle the Doctor calling her "my Clara"

#especially twelve i think bc he's not as outwardly affectionate as eleven was #and so when he says that it's just really really weighty #listen. LISTEN. he loves her #and that does not have to mean romantically. it CAN but either interpretation is good #I'm not even sure where i sit on it. but EITHER WAY. he loves her.#she's his clara!!! his everything!!! missy tries to get him to kill her (traps her in a shell of his worst enemies) and he tells her to run #because if missy doesn't run. he might kill HER.#I'm so many years late to this party but I've just never really talked about this before #the way he apologizes to clara and in the same breath threatens missy.... insane #i feel like this is another ''i don't know what it means; whether it's strength weakness or insanity; but i love her'' thing #a la eight and charley but like... somewhat more grounded #like my thesis has always been that face the raven/heaven sent/hell bent is ''neverland/zagreus/scherzo by any other name''#but like.... the love guys. the LOVE #anyway back to your regularly scheduled programming I'm gonna rewatch ep5 of the bear and probably switch tacks #to go completely nuts over that here in a while so. :)#Lu rambles #dw
