My Chosen Fandoms:

The First Character You Loved:

Oswald Cobblepot (first and forever) Bart Curlish (I don’t know why. I just think she’s neat) Charles Boyle (he takes awkwardness to a whole new level which makes me feel less awkward by comparison lol)

The Character You Never Expected To Love So Much:

Barbara Kean. At the beginning of the series, I just didn’t think she was all that interesting. Just the stereotypical love interest for the male lead and not much else. But when she became a villain, she got more interesting. The best was when she teamed up with Tabby and Selina and became something of a bad ass. I love watching her do horrible things, but have a soft spot for Tabby and Selina. I honestly cannot think of a single character I ever didn’t love from Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. They are all fantastic even if they are the bad guys from the very beginning. Gina Linetti. She is now tied for my favorite with Charles Boyle. I do not ship them, but when they interact they are hilarious together.

The Character You Relate To The Most:

Oswald Cobblepot and Edward Nygma. Not the being selfish murders part, but there is so much to these characters than that. Oswald is so loyal and loving to those he cares about (even to the point of doing bad things in order to protect them). It might make me a bad person, but I relate to that. If it was between doing the right thing or saving people I love, I would choose my loved ones. I relate to Ed for entirely different reasons. One of his biggest issues (besides being awkward as hell in season 1 which same) is that he can’t figure out who he is supposed to be. He doesn’t really know himself and that is something that really resonated with my current experiences. I might be having something of an identity crisis myself lol. Maybe that is why I’m so drawn to him. Todd Brotzman. At first he just gets dragged into this whole crazy adventure and fights it every step of the way. But people just kind of walk all over him. He gives in easily to the expectations of others. It takes a Dirk Gently to finally break him out of the mundane shell and really become himself. I’ve definitely had a few Dirk Gently’s in my life. Charles Boyle. I am awkward as hell. Not that level of awkward but pretty damn close sometimes.

The Character You’d Slap:

Edward Nygma. I love him, but he drives me insane. Hugo Friedkin. This guy is hilarious, but he is also the biggest dumbass and just so evil. Like dumb evil. Keith “The Vulture” Pembroke. This really needs no explanation.

Three Favourite Characters (In Order Of Preference):

Oswald Cobblepot, Selina Kyle, Edward Nygma (most of the time, but not recently) Bart Curlish, Dirk Gently, Farah Black Charles Boyle, Gina Linetti, Raymond Holt

A Character You Liked At First, But Don’t Anymore:

Honestly, I can’t even think of any. The closest would probably be Lee Thompkins, but I still like her (just not as much). Edgy Lee was less likeable, even from the start of season 4, before all the Nygmakins stuff happened. I understand the shift in character, but I liked her better before. She seems to have the same problem as Jim now in my opinion. Looks down on villains even though they do the same thing and compromising their own values to meet an end goal and its something I don’t have much respect for. Hoping for better in season 5. There is none. All characters are amazing! Again none. I love them!
