I just love it when companies actually put effort into marketing.
#I feel like there's a case to be made that most films/shows/etc advertise their stuff but don't really put a lot of stock into how they do#and then you get something like dp&w where we get fun adverts#like officially licensed bff necklaces and butt console controllers#a gosh darned beer sponsor w/ merch sweepstakes (guess who won one ;P)#a couple regional fast food tie-ins with themed packaging#crane games at specific theaters and arcades w/ the highly advertised bff necklaces#the in-theater merch (popcorn bucket(s) and cups and throw blankets with fun theming)#i probably didn't even cover it all. it just makes you want to talk about it#last year it was Barbara and that was a hoot too#idk like sure just buy a tv spot or two with a trailer i guess#but if you have the cash to really make a marketing push go bananas!
