#like. the mad scientist trope. doc ock. dr doom. dr evil. dr robotnik#i said 80s but i really meant like. general pre-2000s pop culture that we now think of as vintage ykwim#it's like something just made writers back then think Hmm how do i make my bad guy sound really menacing..... ah a PhD#dr claw !
