The Originals season 4
Tumblr media
The Originals season 4
by: Julie Plec
Season four of THE ORIGINALS begins on the fifth anniversary of the Mikaelson family’s greatest defeat. In the years since, the Original hybrid Klaus has been held prisoner by Marcel Gerard, while his siblings lie trapped in an enchanted sleep. When Hayley finally succeeds in reviving them, the newly-awakened Mikaelsons execute a daring rescue of the captive Klaus. Once reunited, the family finds themselves faced with an even bigger threat: the revival of an ancient evil that has strong ties to their most vulnerable family member, Hope. After a devastating attack by this nightmarish entity, the Mikaelsons discover there is only one way to save themselves -- they must stand their ground in New Orleans and forge an alliance with the very enemies who hate them most, both Marcel and the leader of the New Orleans witches, Vincent Griffith. But as their horrifying adversary closes in, the Mikaelsons find that they are facing an evil even more powerful than themselves, one with intimate knowledge of their family’s greatest weakness. With everything at stake -- their city, their family, and their very immortality -- the Mikaelsons must find a way to stand together, even as their secrets threaten to tear them apart.
I. Which part of your book/film are you having the most difficulty understanding or connecting with? Why do you think this is?
For me it would be Hayley Michaelson, the youngest sibling of the michaelsons. i didn’t really understand her personality. one moment she’s all about keeping her family together and the next she would toss them away for Marcel her lover. So i think i could consider her character hypocrite. And that’s why i cant really connect with her personality as her perspective differs from my perspective.
II.  Create an award for this book. Explain the award and why this book received it.
I would award this book as The Most Melodramatic movie of the year. This movie had me experience different emotions throughout the end, one moment i was sad then the next im crying and after the next episode i am angry from the unexpected plot twists. this movie really deserve this award because it really is an emotional movie since its all about family and what you would do for your family and what you could sacrifice for them.
III. What are the worst parts of the book? Why?
The worst part for me was the ending. i just couldn’t accept that was the ending. after their hardships in fighting the Hollow in the end they still had to break their family apart in order to keep Hope safe from the Hollow. it was heartwarming to that they could sacrifice not being able to be together just to save Klaus’ child but it was still awful since Klaus couldn’t be with his daughter anymore.

The Kissing Booth
by Vince Marcello
Tumblr media
Part I.
The Kissing Booth is an American Romantic Comedy film written and directed by Vince Marcello that is based on a novel of the same name by Beth Reekles. The story of this film focuses on a high school student girl, named Elle Evans, who is forced to confront her secret crush at a kissing booth. Elle Evans and Lee Flynn have been best friends since the day they were born. Elle Evans, a girl who has a crush on her best friend’s older brother named Noah Flynn and her boy best friend, Lee Flynn who knew all her secrets except this one thing. Unfortunately, she cannot tell it to her boy best friend because on the very first day they agreed on a rule that they shouldn’t fell in love with a person that is related on their family. As the time goes by, Elle Evans and Noah Flynn showed off what they really feel. And when she kissed Noah, she broke the biggest rule.
Part II.
A. Describe your favourite part of the book/film.
My favourite part of the film is where Lee has already forgiven his best friend Elle even though her best friend broke the rule that they built. He still treasure their friendship and the memories that they have. As the problem of these two resolved, the relationship of Elle and Noah gets sweeter and stronger. Their relationship is also now open to both sides of their family. As Lee forgave Elle, their friendship gets stronger and they all now live happily.
B. What are the major obstacles that your protagonist faces? Explain why you think these are most important?
One of the major obstacles that the protagonist faced is where she needs to choose whether she will forget the rule and fight her love for Noah or to keep the rule and just forget the love she had for Noah. The day she kissed Noah at the Kissing Booth, she has already consequences to face. Her best friend got mad and she even broke their rule. These are the most crucial part of the film because the protagonist are in the stage where she would either choose friendship or love.
C. Which character would you like to be in this book/film? Why?
The character I would like to be is Lee Flynn because he is kind, cheerful, caring and a very understanding person. He still forgave Elle and just accept the fact that his older brother and his best friend were truly madly deeply in love with each other. He is also now happy seeing Elle and Noah happy with their relationship.

A WEREWOLF BOY
Written by : Kim Mi Ri
Tumblr media
Love, friendship, happiness and pain — This is a story that will bring you to a rollercoaster ride of emotions as a girl named Suni meet a boy named Cheol-su. At first, everything was too complicated but love and friendship began to create magic bringing them to situation where they get close to each other and as they continue to get along with each other, revelations and conflicts took place. This challenges brought color and meaning to the film showing a beautiful and at the same a heartaching unique love story.
Q U E S T I O N S
1. ) Write a poem on a character's viewpoint.
( a poem based on the point of view of Cheolsu )
Tumblr media
2.) Did this film make you laugh? Cry? Cringe? Smile? Cheer? Explain.
The film gave me mixed emotions and reactions. It brought me to a dimension where I smiled, laughed, got annoyed and got hurt.
I smiled and laughed because of the love and friendship that had existed in the story. It brought fun and gave me a positive image eventhough it was just a small and simple moments. The inspiration and moral that it wanted to share to us was priceless and it is something you would always remember to apply in your own life until you grow old.
I got annoyed when the antagonist tried making a show and changing the story just to bring down the protagonist.
I got hurt knowing the fact that their unusual love story was hindered by an obstacle. It is painful seeing a scene of two people who learned to be happy and enjoy while spending time with each other that ended in a heartaching separation.
3.) Think about a supporting character in the film. How would the film be different if the characters did not exist?
FRIENDS — They are people that makes us feel secure whenever we are with them. They spent time with us to have fun and create memories that would last forever.
In the film, the friends of Cheol-su and Suni, served as one of the most important supporting characters that enabled the protagonists to have fun and have a more beautiful story. These characters enabled Cheol-su to showcase his kindness and ability to get along with others despite the fact that he doesn't have the enough knowledge even he's already grown up. If these characters did not existed, the story would be different. It would have been so plain and not meaningful. They would not be able to bring color to the story in a way that it can transform a simple day to a fun and memorable one.
They might have short duration of exposure in the film, their existence completed the story.

Black Panther
Written by: Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole
Tumblr media
Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character starring Chadwick, Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis. It was produced by the Marvel Studios and distributed by the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. This movie is said to be the 18th film in the marvel cinematic Universe.
This movie is the best because it touches the heart of every viewer right from the start to the end. There’s a lot of moral lesson you may get like “ revenge is not a kind of victory it is an act of greediness”.I enjoyed the movie yet I cried. I think Im not the only one who cried int his movie.
 Guide Questions
1.       Which character can you connect with the most in your film? Why?
-          I think I can connect myself to the Great king of Gorilla who first challenge king T’challa. He wants power, power to control the entire kingdom of Wakanda but he fails. He got bitter he never attends any meetings of all the kings but then in the end He is able to move on and help King T’challa on his journey to win back the Wakanda.
2.       What have you done that is similar to what the characters experience in your film?
-          I have done nothing the same to them but if I were given a chance I think I can to it this time.
3.       Describe your feelings about the characters. Copy down a quote from a character and tell why you think it is meaningful?
-          If we are living in a Monarchy country and our king is like King T’challa then I feel so proud and honour to have him because he stands on what he believe is right.  Lover of king T’challa said “it is my duty to fight for what I love” well it is meaning full because its inspire you to fight for what you are fighting for. It gives you success like what Wakanda is having right after the battle.

1. Find a quote that stands out to you and explain why you chose it.
"Like any friendship or relationship, everything starts off as a tiny sprout. If you neglect or smother it, it will eventually wither. But when nurtured and cared for properly...it will bloom into something special."
-lyra's grandmother
I really like this qoute from the webtoon because it really speaks the truth about things that we like to keep and we want to reach because to have a successful career, life, or relationship nurturing them is the most important thing to do, treasure them and they will treasure you too. If you will neglect them it would slowly fade away and never come back again. Give your time and love to them and they will stay. The journey will be difficult but if you will just enjoy it, you will be just surprise that you have already reached it.
2. Which part of the story caused the strongest feelings in you? Why?
My favorite part of the story is when shon's ex-girlfriend decided not to let go her memories even do it is the one who kept hurting her. She said that she will endure the pain forever because the memory of him (her ex-BF who died) is the only thing that left on her. It really got me because I thought that she would let her memories of him go, so that she won't feel pain anymore but she refused. Sometimes holding on into something is really worth it even tho it cause you too much pain because it will also make you stronger and braver.
3.Based on what the characters say or do, what can you infer about their attributes/personalities?
Based on what Lyra say or do, I think she is a selfless and compassionate person, she always think about what would other people feel if she will say or do something. She always care about other people and always think that everybody deserves to be respected. Based on what Ian say or do, I think he is a good person, even tho he is showing his feelings in a selfish way I can see that he really cared about others secretly especially on Lyra. Based on what Shon say and do, he is really pure and I can really see the sincerity of his feelings towards Lyra and he is also selfless because he really sacrifice his life just to save her.

INVISIBLE GIRL
by TheCatWhoDoesntMeow
Tumblr media
PART I.
This book is an epistolary novel. It states about the girl’s feelings for the boy she really loved for a long time. She has her diary to write down all the things that happened in her everyday life. She even made a dummy account with a name En Visible (Invisible), to express her feelings towards the boy. As the day passed by, the boy discovered who really the girl is, but He respect the girl’s decision that on 100th day, En Visible will reveal her true identity. However, before it would happen, Marcus fell in love with Jenessy (En Visible). This novel could really make us understand about the love, respect, and sacrifices we did if we fall in love. This could give us hope to fight for someone we truly loved.
Part II.
A. Find a quote that stands out to you and explain why you chose it.
• “This time, I won’t back down”. This quote really caught my attention. In life, we may encounter different kinds of problems and sometimes we tend to give up when life becomes so tough. Then I read this quote, and I realized that no matter how difficult our life is, there are still reason for us to fight back. After I fell down, I will make sure I could stand again and for that time, I won’t back down.
B. Which character would you like to have as a friend and why?
• The character I would like to be my friend is Helga. She was Jenessey’s best friend. Having a friend like Helga who is always there to support you and love you like her own sister. A friend where you can lean on and be the shoulder to cry on. Helga is a kind of friend who can make you smile in times of sorrow and share anything under the sun. However, I can say that Helga is really a true friend.
C. Which part of the story caused the strongest feelings in you? Why?
• The part of the story that brings out my strongest feelings is when the 100th day comes. That day, Jenessy will confess her true identity to Marcus, but then there’s someone who hacked her dummy account and pretended that she’s En Visible. At that time, Marcus didn’t believe that it was En Visible. However, on the 2nd day that they plan to meet each other, Marcus got accident while driving the motorcycle.
•This part of the story makes me feel excited but then suddenly there’s an accident happened that ruins their plan and this brings out my strongest feelings. It’s like the destiny doesn’t want them to have a happy ending. And then I realized that before we can have that happy ending of our life, we have to faced some obstacles that could really test our faith.

Where Tangent Meets
a webtoon by instantmiso
Tumblr media
You'll never know what true love is, unless you'll meet someone who will accept you and becomes a bridge to your own self-acceptance. This is a story that talks about two teenagers battling their own challenges that made both of them hide the real version of theirselves. Everything started to change when Landon and Rachelle met each other. They slowly free themselves from the things that make them feel uneasy when they are spending time together. They learn to show their feelings and express the things they can't share easily when they are in public. Soon they become lovers, and began bringing out the things they hid in their own shells.
1.) Describe your feelings about the characters. Copy down a quote from a character and tell why you think it's meaningful.
The characters in the story depicted roles which readers can relate and I felt inspired knowing the fact that each character in the story was unique and the way they express their feelings and views conveyed a lot of things.
"The mistakes you've made in the past don't define who you are as a person."
This is a line conveyed by Rachel to Landon and I think this is one of the most meaningful lines from the webtoon. I know the fact that this set of words create a powerful message that has the ability to uplift anyone who have committed mistakes in the past and felt like nothing has changed until now. I knew that everyone of us had been through a situation that allowed us to do something wrong and we all regret about it. It is important for us to face the reality that we can't correct our mistakes but this doesn't make us a bad person. Our mistakes were all lessons for us but it will never justify and define who we are. It's about learning from them and moving forward.
2.) What are the major obstacles that your protagonist faces? Explain why do you think these are the most important?
The main obstacle faced by the protagonist was all about showing another side of personality instead of being true to oneself. This is the most important obstacle because this conflict allowed the characters to be involved in a journey where a battle of being dishonest or being true is happening. This obstacle gave a wonderful context to the story and as the protagonist deal with it, you can learn from them and I think that is the essence of why obstacles plays a big role in the creation of the message of a story.
3.) Do any of the character remind you of your friends, family members or classmate? Explain.
The characters in the story had worked together to resolve the conflict or obstacle that the protagonist encountered, and I see my bestfriends among those characters because when I am facing troubles or having personal issues, my bestfriends were the people I can always lean on and I've trusted them for many years. Aside from my family, my bestfriends were at my back that keep inspiring me to become happy and avoid faking myself. We cannot deny the fact that we can't just talk and act the way we want to but we all have set of people that can be at our side and they will be comfortable with us. They are our bestfriends, wonderful individuals brought by God to make the story of our life more amazing.

I, Tonya
Director: Craig Gillespie
Screenplay: Steven Rogers
Tumblr media
I, TONYA A movie based on true events and interviews. This movie highlights the story of the former US figure skating champion and Olympian, Tonya Harding. She was became the first American to successfully complete a triple axel move but her future in the activity was thrown into doubt when her ex-husband intervenes. Tonya was indeed a naturally gifted talented athlete but was disregarded by the association, since they prefer someone to be a portrayal of grace and has good image. Which led her planning to send death threats to her former competitor Nancy just to step out of the competition, but the plans got worse when her ex-husband, Jeff asked his men to bash Nancy’s leg instead of just sending threats. This film then highlights the January 6, 1994 “leg bashing incident” of Tonya’s competitor Nancy.
MAIN CHARACTERS
TONYA HARDING (Margot Robbie), former Olympic figure skater. She was never really accepted in the figure skating community for not inherently being the image of grace, breeding and privilege that the community wanted to portray, despite that she being a naturally gifted in the sport athletically. JEFF GILLOOLY (Sebastian Stan), Tonya’s ex husband. He and Tonya had a turbulent relationship on a need to be loved perhaps without truly loving the other. He was the one who shifted the plan of sending death threats to Nancy and altered it into bashing Nancy’s leg that lead her to step out of the competition. LAVONA GOLDEN HARDING (Allison Janney), Tonya’s mother. Despite that she paid for Tonya’s expensive figure skating lessons, she was very abusive toward her physically and emotionally, never believing that she was good enough in any aspect and pulled her from school to focus solely on figure skating. DIANE ROWLINSON (Julianne Nicholson), Tonya’s figure skating coach. She was Tonya’s first and longest serving coach, who, for good or bad, largely let Tonya be Tonya in the way she presented herself to the Figure Skating world. SHAWN ECKARDT (Paul Walter Hauser), Tonya’s ex-bodyguard and Jeff’s friend. He is a dim bulb who believed him to be a bigger player in the big scheme of life than he actually was. NANCY KERRIGAN (Caitlin Carver), Tonya’s competitor in figure skating but really was her friend. Unlike Tonya, she was everything that figure skating community wanted to be a representative. MARTIN MADDOX (Bobby Cannavale), a sport journalist and a fictional character. He who provides general commentary of what the sports media as a collective wanted out of Tonya and the Incident.
QUESTIONS
How realistic is the plot of this story? Aside from this film is indeed a true-to-life event, the amazingly flexible plot elucidates primitive happenings in our society this days. One is that the story highlighted the conflict love story between Tonya Harding and her husband Jeff Gillooly, this only explains how easy couples during this time gives up in love. It also showed how a person can be thoroughly abused if he/she still holds on even if it means gripping to a barb wire, though lacerated yet still chose to grip tight. Our society today needs a massive learning about marriage before indulging into it, to note that it is holy. Another one is that the story also emphasized how Lavona Harding, Tonya’s mother choked her to be the best she can be. It was shown on the story how her mother really wanted her to be best in the field of figure skating until such time that she physically abused her just because a lot can still do better than her. We should always put in mind that no passion will be furnished if it will go process beyond ordinary, time and effort is only needed and not conforming and abuse. With that lies the awakening of Tonya’s inner monstrous personality. Due to her mother’s approach, she became a beast in her own way, aloof and too competitive. That then made her to do everything just to reach her ultimate goal. It only proves how people strive to reach goals even without undergoing accurate steps. Sometimes we go way too far from the box just to prove ourselves. Our passion should be our anchor to instill ourselves from what is always right, not a driving wheel which we use to create our own route even if it means colliding with mountains or icebergs.   Lastly, what Jeff has done also proves that people will do everything just to win love again. It was in the movie that Tonya planned to send Nancy death threats to back out from the competition but Jeff planned even worst. We should always take into account that non-working relationships simply mean that you both are of different universe. Once it failed, it is very hard to repair, that’s why some do worst tasks just to win back love. The above inputs only proves how the movie I,Tonya is very significant. Its realistic plot really involved numerous dilemmas in our society these days.
Find a quote/line that stands out to you and explains why you chose it. “so… uhm, you… you would never gonna let me skate again? So , uhm.. I cannot.. I mean’ I’d rather do the jail time, it would only take me 18 months… they got 18 months, I’ll do that. Your honor, I don’t have an education and all I know is skating, that’s all I know… and I am no one if I can’t.. if can’t, skate. I mean, I am not some monster and I am just trying to do my best with what I am good with… and its like your giving me a life sentence.. Skating is my life, there lives my passion, and that without it, I… who am I?… I mean, I can’t do that… uhm, please, just send me to jail and I can still skate… just send me to jail and that I can still skate!” It was the line uttered by Tonya Harding in front of the court after the judge read and ordered her verdict including her complete detachment from the field of figure skating. This line simply represents how I adored this movie, Tonya, a very passionate character to which a lot can really connect with.   It was shown in the movie that even if Tonya Harding topped the US Figure Skating Championship and fell rank 1 on the national ranking, the association at first did not allowed her to take part on the 1994 Winter Olympics because they wanted someone who could be an image of grace. Her messed up relationship with her ex-husband Jeff made it very hard for her to be that perfect image representation of US Figure Skating. That’s why I became attached with the film, because like Tonya I may sometimes strive to fit in but people always disregard talent and rather shift toward emphasizing image. They prefer modality, I mean they wanted that form rather than substance. Just like her I will do anything to restore my passion, but I will clearly emphasize this one, Tonya went to shadows for her passion but I will keep the light for my passion. What I mean is that ‘though a lot will question my passion, I will still strive for my worth. Just like Tonya, she lived by her passion, it was her oxygen and by the time she was ordered to depart from it, it really touched my heart from the time she beg to the judge no to do it.   To highlight, we should always be careful of what we do or we plan to do, because whatever we throw will always go back to its thrower. We should just simply strive for our passion even if a lot degrades our capability, ‘though we may not reach our ends but at least we did it in the right way. Write a poem form a character’s viewpoint. The ice was clearly my companion,
The sharp skating blades were my foundation,
The cold ring was my preferred destination,
I knew figure skating was my passion.
I strive to top the food chain,
To rise above the mud of the past rain,
I not know such as failures nor pain,
Everybody knew my achievements were all insane
I tried to follow a path I thought was right,
I took risk to stay in the spotlight,
I knew I was with the crowd’s hottest sight,
That time, I knew nothing but “I and my triumphed fights”
I thought I was better at my state,
But the woman I first saw degraded my proud rate,
Hence I shifted in seeing that this is a talent innate,
And that conquering every battle is my fate
But the people around believed not on my ability,
They rather idolize someone who has better image and credibility,
Then was I left in insanity,
Does skills without image a disability?
Since then the battle for passion was lit,
The drive to reign started to spit,
In my mind, to slain should be met,
Then the quest required me no sweat.
Forgive me God, for I will do this action,
Threatening to death was my only option,
I am determined to do so and needs no conversation,
I surely will do so just to prove my passion.
But beyond my understanding my plans messed,
Every single cell was stressed,
The plan to send threats got worse,
Then I just wanted to escape as fast as a horse.
Trials aroused, fake speeches then came,
The newly born battle was unseen at the farther part of the lane,
My passion then suffered a painful sprain,
And the achievements I worked, in just a snap, was found in the drain.
The passion I worked hard eroded,
My mischief and my efforts collided,
Once the verdict of complete ban from figure skating was said,
I completely felt I was already dead.
Then I knew this is worse than a broken bone,
This is worse than verdicts to imprison and be alone,
This is worse than raging throws of stone,
It is always worse than to softly kill your own.
Though I denied accepting the punishment,
Even if it felt stabbing every utterance of the statement,
But them removing my passion and just deal with contentment,
It felt, In a lifeless journey, I was being sent.
[a poem personally written from Tonya Harding’s Perspective]

SPIRITED AWAY
film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki
Tumblr media
PART I:
Chihiro and her parents are moving to a small Japanese town in the countryside, much to Chihiro's dismay. On the way to their new home, Chihiro's father makes a wrong turn and drives down a lonely one-lane road which dead-ends in front of a tunnel. Her parents decide to stop the car and explore the area. They go through the tunnel and find an abandoned amusement park on the other side, with its own little town. When her parents see a restaurant with great-smelling food but no staff, they decide to eat and pay later. However, Chihiro refuses to eat and decides to explore the theme park a bit more. She meets a boy named Haku who tells her that Chihiro and her parents are in danger, and they must leave immediately. She runs to the restaurant and finds that her parents have turned into pigs. In addition, the theme park turns out to be a town inhabited by demons, spirits, and evil gods. At the center of the town is a bathhouse where these creatures go to relax.
PART II:
Question 1:
Find a quote that stands out to you and explains why you chose it.
1. Make a review of the book/film.
-  Spirited away is an anime movie from Hayao Miyazaki one of the greatest Japanese animation directors. His movies are full of imaginations, thoughtful messages, and they always have a happy ending. Spirited away is not an exception. It is a great anime movie that will take viewers on a journey beyond their imagination with a very beautiful ending, and it also contains a meaningful message about the relationship between human and nature.
2. List three facts about this book/film. Then, list three opinions about it.
(FACTS)
* Chihiro was inspired by the daughter of one of the director’s friends
* Disney wasn’t the first American studio to try to court Ghibli
* Spirited Away broke box-office records
(OPINIONS)
*  Set primarily in an abandoned theme park that transforms each night into a bathhouse for weary spirits, the movie is a parade of unusual creatures (who often change shape) and bizarre rituals.
*  10-year-old Chihiro gets trapped in the bathhouse after her nosy parents are turned into pigs – but that mostly seems like an excuse for Miyazaki and his animators to explore every recess of their imaginations. And so we get a boy-dragon named Haku, a silent, hooded specter called No-Face and a spider-like boiler operator who goes by the name of Kamaji.
* Yubaba, best described as a demonic grandmother. Her giant head crowned with a sensible bun (at least until it unravels to reveal tentacles), Yubaba runs the bathhouse with a greedy fist and occasionally takes the form of a screeching crow. Did I mention that she’s often accompanied by three ghoulishly green, decapitated heads? Part Alice in Wonderland and part Hansel and Gretel, Spirited Away eventually generates enough imaginative oddities to qualify as a landmark fairy-tale fantasy of its own.
3. Did this book/film make you laugh? cry? cringe? smile? cheer? Explain.
-  Spirited Away is not a simple movie — it has many layers into it. At first, it’s a short story about a young girl and their parents moving to a new place. Chihiro is just a girl that is still growing up and doesn’t have a lot of responsibilities.  The movie also shows that keeping your due and doing what you have to, despite temptations, is always worth it. It shows as well that being pure of heart is what matters the most, and Chihiro comes as someone quite pure and pretty much ends saving everyone in the movie, for me my emotions is like a roller coaster it makes me laugh, sad, happy etc.

to all the boys i’ve loved before
Tumblr media
Old school love letters are a surefire way to get your crush to notice your feelings, but what if they were never meant to be sent? Lara Jean Covey is an introverted high schooler who wrote love letters to her crushes when she was younger with no intention of sending any of them. She always felt it was kept safe and hidden in her teal hatbox when one day she finds out her letters were unexpectedly mailed to each of her crushes--and soon wreaks havoc in her once peaceful (and loveless) life! Follow Lara as she goes on a roller coaster ride of emotions as she puts out old flames and ignites new ones in To All the Boys I've Loved Before.
Find a quote that stands out to you and explain why you chose it.
Tumblr media
This quote strikes my heart out because it explains the importance of being a reserved person. We all know in our generation right now, being taken for granted was very rampant and many of us forgot the essence of choosing whose people to trust and to loved. This remarks from Lara Jean was a reminder for me that I should be careful on letting people come in to my life and whose to be friend with because this people may harm you or it may cause of your downfall or heartbreak on the future. Overall, this quote may be a stereotype thing but it speaks out my emotions right now about what’s happening on my teenage life.
Write a letter to the author/writer/director of your book/film
Dear Susan Johnson,
Love can be find in various shapes and form but the love within the movie you created was a meaningful yet a playful one. It reminds me on how beautiful love can be and how changing it was to those people who experiencing it.
A blast full experience indeed and I thank you for letting me witness the brave yet a fresh love story of Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky. Kudos to you director-nim it was a beautiful movie and I’m looking forward for more movies like that wherein love was not overly done.
And once again thank you for the roller coaster ride of emotions.
-Clyde
How realistic is the plot of your book/film?
To all the boys I’ve loved before was film about a teenage girl that has a hobby of writing love letters to her crushes and those letters was sent to those boys that eventually results to a sudden plot twist to her life. To my own point of view this movie was partly realistic, in a sense that I also wrote love letters to my crush before and I tried sending it to him that results right now to a tighten friendship. I remember the emotions I felt upon sending those letters to him and it was an amusing experience and I concluded that time not all feelings or confession needs reciprocation but it needs to be voiced out to know what actions are needed to perform. Overall, some of the scenes in movie may happen to other people because God is an amazing author and he always has a way to awe us in every situation, but please be reminded that don’t find love- let love finds you.

The Fault In Our Stars
Tumblr media
A brief description of the movie in titled of “The Fault In Our Stars” by John Green.
A young girl named Hazel Grace Lancaster has a thyroid cancer and a lovable guy Augustus Water meet in the supporting group that takes them to the point of relationship. They both fight against their cancers to live long-life to this world. After a days that they are bonds together with happiness, sharing of books that they love, and granting wishes of Hazel Grace by Augustus there is always a contradict of their love that takes to a most hurtful part where Augustus died of his cancer at the last part of the story.
1.)Describe your feelings about the characters. Copy down a quote from a character and tell why you think it is meaningful.
When the time that supporting group has done there forums and confessions Hazel and Augustus meet outside and talk about their life situation. In their conversation my favorite quote that  caught me an attention is that when Augustus pick a cigarette on his pack while talking to hazel, Hazel face was really get mad because of the cigarette of Augustus. Hazel said that why did he use the cigarette that will causes him to get more diseases and may triggered his cancer. Then Augustus replied on Hazel Grace as it is his metaphor and he said “ If you put the thing between your teeth that will causes to death but you don’t give it a power to kill you” for me this is so meaningful as it is to be understood on his point.
2.) Find a quote that stands out to you and explain why you chose it.
When the time that Augustus invite Hazel Grace to his house, there is one quote that really caught me an attention. In  Augustus house when you come inside you see a board that has a quote of it, it is “ If you want rainbow you have to deal with the rain” as it is the meaning of striving hard and showing bravery of something specific situations.  If i relate it to a life situation it is the students to professional means that we have to deal the reality of being a students that has a more responsibilities and a training to have knowledge and practices as it is the requirements to become a professional someday.
3.)  Describe your favorite part of the book/film.
My favorite part of the story is that when the time that Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Water met because of the supporting group which has the same journey of them. The story of their love story started in the group in which takes them to relationship. This part of the story is the starting point that their relationship begin, the happiness, the bonding together, sharing of life situations, sharing of thoughts, making memorable memories and also the time when the two of them have lost their virginity. But after all the things that they do to fight against their cancer, more treatments has no use for them to help their way of journey that one of them will die, specifically Augustus. My description of their love story is that when hazel grace says before the day that Augustus die she said in the time of pre-funeral  that “ A number 1 and 0 has an infinite number, there is 1.12, 1.123 also 0.90, 0.21 and a million numbers and so on even any numbers has its infinite number, but then Augustus came and give Hazel Grace a forever. Hazel Grace can’t explain how happy she is when meeting Augustus. God gave her a guy that felt to live with happiness and breath longer.
