Tsurune Movie Production Announced!!!

the "special movie" that aired today was actually a short clip of the opening theme Naru with scenes of the anime playing....but the good news is, it was used to announce a movie version of the anime!

I'm assuming it's not going to contain new content and will rather be a compilation/reworking of the anime, but I'm taking this as a sign that Tsurune isn't over for us and, most importantly, KyoAni is beginning to heal!

As I suspected, Masa might be motivated because Minato reminds him of himself. The target panic, the deceased loved one, etc...etc...I think that's also why Masa favors Minato as well. He wants to help Minato out of the hole Minato's depression/anxiety/what have you has dug

I think that Seiya telling Masa he hates him to his face not only underscores how there is definitely something up with Seiya, but I think Masa's quiet, dejected? reaction to it is interesting. One thing I'm really curious about with Masa is how he views himself, because I think that possibly how Masa views himself is part of what goes into his own "target panic.” While Minato comes off like anxiety is the primary motivation for his target panic, it seems like Masa’s primary motivation is depression. It’s a shame we don’t get to explore these struggles deeper in the anime.

This isn’t working out, I can’t focus on the show at all, the only thing on my mind is wanting to screenshot every frame that includes Kuma (his name is Kuma!!!). Also look at this, it’s so aesthetically pleasing. I love the muted colours, I love these Japanese streets. Why am I not there walking my very own berner sennen?? That’s all I want from life
