Q: Tell me one of the authors that really got you into reading? I've always read, but it was in 2008 that really got into YA and adult stories, especially fantasy. One of the first urban fantasy series I ever read was The Darkest Powers by Kelley Armstrong. I LOVED them. In fact, Kelley Armstrong is one of my all time favourite authors. Q: How is everyone going? I keep taking accidental mini-hiatuses because I'm drowining in work and assignments. 📖 Book Review: The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross YA historical fantasy/ steampunk. First book in the Steampunk Chronicles. Swipe for my full thoughts, but TLDR; I knew I really enjoyed this series, but I completely forgot just how much. As much as the love triangles annoyed me, I loved the entire cast and all the steampunk in this world. I can’t wait to reread the next two books and finally see how book four wraps everything up.
