Adelaine: I think so. I would love another one and I'm not getting any younger. I'll be 34 in september.

Lodewijk: I would love it. It will be more hectic but I think I don't mind. I like being Laurents dad and I would love another one just as much

Princess Adelaine and her husband Lodewijk have some special news to share. Just weeks after prince Filip, the son of crown prince Ernest and princess Louise, passed away. Princess Adelaine is expecting her first child with husband Lodewijk of Orleans.

The princess (32) and her husband have been married for two and a half years. She is the third child and second daughter of king Filip and queen Delfine. She is fourth in line for the throne and her baby will be fifth. Nothing is known about the due date of the baby. The palace did say the princess is feeling well and everything is going well with both the princess and the baby.

Adelaine: no, not good at all. I kept thinking about Ernest and Louise

Lodewijk: it such a sad time for them

Adelaine: yeah, losing your child is the worst thing that can happen

Lodewijk: We will take good care of our little one

Adelaine: I hope we will never have to burry him or her

Lodewijk: Me too

Adelaine: But how are we going to tell everybody about our little baby

Lodewijk: Hmm, I hadn't thought about that. It won't be easy of Ernest and Louise to be happy for us

Adelaine: I think it's impossible for them to be happy about anything right now

Lodewijk: you are right

Adelaine: I do have to start telling people before they start to notice my growing belly

Lodewijk: It looks nice on you

Adelaine: You are the sweetest

Lodewijk: Maybe you could start with your sister and parents. Not a grand reveal but just tell them in private

Adelaine: That is such a good idea

Lodewijk: Do you want me to go along?

Adelaine: No, I'm good. I'll tell my family

Filip: That is great news!

Adelaine: We are very happy about it but feel very sorry about the timing of it all with little Filip passing away

Delfine: That worry about that dear. Focus on you and the baby. That's all you have to do

Filip: Have you thought about an public announcement?

Adelaine: Yes, but first I want to tell Jean and Ernest&Louise. I already told Amelie about the baby

Adelaine: It's a little bit weird, with the timing and all but I'm actually pregnant

Amelie: What a wonderful news, you are going to be a mommy!

Adelaine: Yes, Lodewijk and I are looking forward to meeting our little baby and become parents

Amelie: I can't wait to become an aunt again

Adelaine: Aaah, thank you Amelie. I will be a wonderful aunt, I'm sure. And I'm glad you live so close by

Amelie: I will come over all the time

Adelaine: I'm so happy that I finaly have my life were I want it. Happily married and now with a little one on the way. I have looked forward to just being a normal happy family all my life.

Amelie: You always wanted to play mommy and daddy

Adelaine: How many times did I make you be dad?

Amelie: haha, a lot!

Adelaine: It does feel wrong to have all of this right at the worst time for Ernest

Amelie: Yeah, they are going through such a though time. But that's what life is, Adelaine. It's though to say but that is the truth. Their sadness shouldn't make your joy less

Adelaine: It doesn't but it makes it so complex. Being happy and sad at the same time
