I have a long and never ending list of grievances towards thief 4, but the one at the top of my list is that they got rid of the nail polish garrett has in the concept art
#also it's never scary#thief should have at least one level that makes me feel like im straight up going to die if i move a single step u kno#classic thief had levels that were scarier than any AAA horror game#UGHHHH i hate that it sucks so bad because i actually really enjoy the t4 aesthetics#logging into tumblr for five minutes to complain about thief 4 again bc im looking thru the art book and making heart eyes at garrett#like that game INFURIATES me it has everything that SHOULD make it a good game except the game play is just AUGH#the concept art stuff for the watch recruitment posters to 'keep the streets safe' BRUH THIS COULD HAVE BEEN GOOD#with the plague shit and the careening descent into dystopic autocracy and the everythingggggggggggg#i gotta rip off this shit and make a fan comic bc i do not have the skills to make a fan game level#the gap between the rich and wealthy and the treatment afforded to the different economic classes and the BODIES#HANGING FROM THE SCAFFOLDING#THE WASTED POTENTIAL OF IT ALL#the nail polish thing is especially egregious to me tho. why did you rob us of this
