@logiyande when: spring carnival where: ring toss
"logan, you promised me a game, so i am here to collect." he slings an arm around her shoulders, still a bit damp from his time at the dunk tank, but dry enough for him to be comfortable. "so i've decided, we're starting with the ring toss. and then winner gets to decide the next game?" he shrugs, squeezing her before letting go. "i feel like you've got like, a secret talent that i'm about to witness."

a midday pick me up is what alethea was telling herself it was. not an addiction. though who didn't come out of college without a crippling caffeine addiction? point out someone who didn't and alethea would be more than mildly impressed. having paid for her vanilla oatmilk latte (basic but alethea never said they weren't basic), she steps next to logan as the other seems to be in the brink of losing it, eyes wide when the whole cafe turns to face them. even though the attention wasn't on her, alethea could still feel themselves blushing under the gaze. "uh, i think..." she clears her throat and points to a full plastic cup that seems to have been forgotten behind the counter. "y'all have a missed a few drinks. sorry, i know it's busy in here." she tries to smooth the situation flashing the barista's and then logan a smile. "i give a fake name when i order." she tries to offer some sort of relatability, "cause i get so embarrassed when they mess up my name." at the their drink, under the name of 'emily' is called, and alethea points and nods.
who: open
where: rumi cafe
"sorry, i just-" logan tried in vain to make eye contact with the barista, fingers drumming on the countertop. she wasn't one to complain, but it had been almost fifteen minutes since she had ordered her cold brew, no milk, no sugar, and she'd seen what appeared to be half the population of the school order after her and leave with their drinks. "it's just that i have class," she tried again, still failing to catch the attention of the baristas. come on, be normal, check on your coffee. anyone can do it. "i'm still waiting on my coffee!" she practically shouted, garnering the attention of not only the employees, but the entire cafe. fuck.

WHERE: the library. WHO: @logiyande & nat.
For all intents and purposes, Nat was studying. She was not drifting in and out of focus or pulling apart the split ends in her hair or tapping her pen against the edge of the table. And she was definitely not avoiding going back to her room. But her wandering eye was drawn to Logan as she entered the library and she snapped up the opportunity for distraction. "Logan!" she whisper shouted, waving her over as her free hand slid into her bag, pulling out her current read. It was possible that books were all the two had in common— Nat wouldn't know, they never talked about much else. But books was more than enough. She set The Poppy War on the table in front of her and glanced back over at Logan. "Was it you who suggested this one to me? I've heard it's going to destroy me."

Location: The Gym Time: Sometime in the afternoon during the week Who: @logiyande
If he had to pick usually he used the gym provided in the varsity building. There were fewer people allowed in there, and he really did not need to be bothered by some rando who thought he was a weightlifting pro just because he benched once a week. However he found himself in Ogden's gym facilities available for the wider student body that day, mostly because it was closer to the next class he had which meant he could stay longer. Though Milo found himself regretting it shortly after arriving heading up to the front desk and spotting Logan. "Hey," he said, motioning over his shoulder, "about five of the televisions are broken and blue screening for some reason. The cardio people are getting bitchy, you might want to do something about it."

✍︎ @logiyande
He spots Logan browsing the alternative section at Starffyer the minute he walks through the door. But instead of saying something like a normal person would, Edward just silently makes his way towards her to sneakily try to take a peek at what her music taste looks like – this kind of information always came in handy around birthdays and things of the sort. And after a minute of stealthily watching her go through the artists on the shelf labeled with the letter B, he finally says, “Should’ve known you were into boygenius,” before he steps to her side. He takes a mental note for future reference.

where: the quad when: move-in week with: @logiyande
"Sorry," Anya begins, slowing the half-jog they'd been initiated to fall into step with the other. In her upturned palm is a phone (not their own), and she holds it out to the other in the hopes that it may spark some recognition. Or something. They'd found it on a bench next to the main entrance, and now Anya felt like she'd been saddled with babysitting an inanimate object until she could safely return it to its owner. But as it turned out, being a decent person was more work than she'd bargained for. "You don't happen to recognise this, do you? Please say yes, because I'm starting to get sick of asking people."

Ogden Thanksgiving. Earlyish in the night. [ @logiyande ]
The night had turned into a repeated introduction. This is my mom, this is my dad. This is my mom, this is my dad. This is my mom, this is my dad. Not that he didn't want them here, but he hadn't considered how repetitive it would get, and he knew they would not remember nearly half the people he was introducing them to. They already knew most of his friends, maybe they'd remember their parents. But he knew that at the end of the year at graduation they'd all give the polite 'oh of course I remember' when they were reintroduced to people, but have absolutely no idea who these people were. Still there were people he did want to introduce to them, and he had just spotted one of them. "Logan!" Ollie called dragging his family over in her direction, waving. "Hey. Hi. These are my parents Ren, and Faye," he said motioning in their direction but that wasn't the reason he was here. "This is Gabriel Jiménez, he's Sam's grandfather. I brought him so he could meet like all of her friends and stuff." Well… that hadn't been the only reason he brought him. "Gabe, this is Logan, her and Sam were friends!" Then he looked past Logan and smiled at who he assumed were his parents. "Hi," he said, in the very calculated quiet and polite tone he took to warm people up to him, like he wasn't an insane person, "I'm Ollie."

she initially came over to discuss the whole greer thing, but on her way a more pressing matter invited itself into her life. "okay, look ..." she holds her palm out and places one red gummy bear on it’s front. "so, she was like this--" and then she digs through her bag for a green gummy bear and positions it in a raunchy position, "and he was like this--" then she starts rubbing the gummy bears together and she can hardly control her laughter as she explains what she saw behind a tree. "townies are so gross. but if you could pick one person to be your green bear, who would you pick?" an excited gasp as she adds, "and why?"

Who: Logan Iyande. When: Sunday, August 27th. Where: Linden Dorm, 5A.
It's not that she doesn't want to see Logan, in fact, it's the very opposite. Carmen wants to meet up with her, perhaps more now than had been prominent in some time; a million things she wanted to say, a million things she wanted to talk about — a small piece of her even just relishing in the thought of sitting together, of sitting in and enjoying her company the way she'd once been able to. That was too easy, too simple for all that had transpired between them and in their lives over the past year. Which is exactly why she's attempting to drop the gift at this ungodly hour, with the grounds and the dorms still quiet, hardly anticipating the door swinging open. "Sorry. I...I didn't think you - well, I didn't think anyone would be awake." Hands that had been about to abandon the carefully wrapped box outside the door instead draw it back, a moment of hesitation before she offers it to the other girl. "This is for you. I...I went to this event in New York this summer and there was a digital artist working with one of these, um...darkboards? She talked about how much easier it made things and I just figured...you may already have one and if so, I can return it or whatever but..." It's only then that her eyes seem to actually latch onto Logan's face, to properly see her and she draws in a breath, centering herself. "Sorry. I'm being a lot for this early in the morning."

with: @logiyande when: december 13th, evening where: linden common room
Lola was perched on the common room sofa, legs tucked underneath her, book open on her lap. The book was there primarily to serve as a disguise - it was far more acceptable to be in the common room to read, than it was to be sitting around waiting for someone to speak to. But she needed human contact. Needed normalcy. Which is why she's so quick to slam the book shut at the sight of Logan. "You okay? How was your interview?"

leaky pauses, taking a step back as logan admitted her belief in him. though he expected to feel relief...he didn't. another feeling more along the lines of guilty settled in his stomach, a rock taking form that he was sure he wouldn't be able to shake. "did g tell you anything else?" so g was targeting him? but why, g had been the one to convince him to go into the office to see penny's file. then again it was clear g was targeting them all. they had told nova about him, or at least hinted at him, and now logan. who was next? would someone believe them? "i don't wanna see anything happen to you either, so you be safe too alright?" don't make dumb decisions like me, he wanted to add but refrained from doing so.
she put her hands up in surrender amidst his passionate defense. "take a breath. if you say it's bullshit, it's bullshit. i trust you." maybe some would call her naive, but she was a good judge of character, right? there were plenty of people at ogden she thought had something to hide, but leaky was not one of them. "just keep an eye out, alright? maybe someone's targeting you, i don't know, but i don't wanna see anything happen to you."

who: @logiyande when: halloween where: kkg haunted house
Honestly, the hype around this whole haunted house thing didn't make much sense to Nate. He didn't really get everyone's excitement for halloween in general - but a sorority party was a sorority party, and it was easy enough to get through the haunted house by glaring at the few actors who tried to approach him, making it clear he would not be impressed (or rather, scared) by their doing so. And then he could get a drink and act like it was a normal party, if not for the wings on his back.
As he did just that, replacing the empty cup in his hand for a different one, he saw Logan, jerking his chin up in greeting to her. "Yo," he said, briefly glancing at her outfit, and unsure of who it may have been (was she even dressed up? He wasn't entirely sure, to be honest), choosing not to comment on it. "You look like you might be even less into this than I am," he said, a grimace settling onto his face as he gestured between the party and Logan's general uncomfortable demeanor.

Who: Logan Iyande. When: Saturday, May 6th - Sunday, May 7th. Where: The Rave.
There isn't a care to Nixie, whatever vague threats had been sent to her phone and the reasoning for her being here a memory lost to the recesses of her mind. Her energy could only be focused on now and now was good, beautiful lights and music that seemed to reverberate through her entire body. It's no wonder she's on the floor, moving about in a world of her own, seeming unaware that anyone else existed until- "Ooh!" A squeal escapes them, digits reaching to grasp the body they'd collided with and attempting to stabilize the both of them to no avail, the speed and force of her movements too strong, sending the pair flying roughly towards the ground below. "Sorry, sorry..." And though the apology is genuine, it doesn't take the smile from her lips, laughter that's clearly threatening to escape. Her body draws back slightly, though perhaps not as far as it should, eyes locked onto the face below her, inspecting it with careful consideration. "Are you okay?"

who: @logiyande where: the corn dog stand when: early in the evening.
heni wasn't much of a carnival food person. she wasn't much of a carnival person, either but that was another issue entirely. but her phone is rapidly running out of charge, and so she's found herself next to logan, plugging her phone in to charge. "are they making you work the entire evening?" she asks as she slots the cable into the charging port. "or are you hiding away here for fun?"
