#looking @ some still-in-progress quinn art this evening and feeling VERY bittersweet abt it don’t mind me#the thing is is that it would be extremely easy for me to be like ‘actually the niches of fandom can exist apart from the show#and the alleged environment it was made in’#it would be very easy for me to do this. except that i would not actually believe it#and don’t think that would actually make the ability to enjoy leverage click back on in my brain#i’m just bracing myself for the redemption posts to flood my dash and break my heart etc#hhhhhh i was just really excited abt this. makes me sad. also above all WHERE QUINN#messy and complicated and a bummer all around#though i am (normal & hinged) still writing some finchlore stuff bc that’s homemade brain space content#there isn’t a point to this post i’ve just decided to flounder around publicly instead of by myself in my living room etc#endless cyclical floundering#do i finish my video edit wips? do i finish my fics? could i ever? will it drive me insane not to?#many questions no answers drinking a lot of tea#finchtalks
