somehow the lighting engine in that area is better than at the start o<-< 

anyway erika hawke! and yes im. going to beat this game after too many times of ‘not finishing this game’ since like. 2016... 2017... and nearly two years ago?

lays down-- im almost done with this game (literally got a point of no return, but i didnt accept that letter soo im messing around) and i ended up doing the dlc (legacy right now) and i am :”)))) man this is gonna be a lot.

after six years of trying to get past act 1, and now i am finally in act 2 :”))

this is the same hawke i’ve been playing until im nearing the end of act one _(:3

prologue erika had short hair bc it was cut before she went to ostagar and later escaped with her brother, the start of act one had her wear a tiny ponytail (which to be honest, it is similar to the hairstyle i had used for my dalish warden msdgmsdmg) and the end of act one have her with a little longer ponytail (especially, ya know, i’ve been clearing out the side/misc quests within act one rn)

hmmmm i. wasnt prepared for the fact i managed to finish half of the act 1, almost everyone is nearing the max of friendship, wheezes

...honestly it was a good thing i start off by grabbing everyone earlier so i can slowly but surely max their friendship points smdgmsdgm

playing da2 is a fun experience of me going from wanting to go all blue to now balancing between blue and red choices smdgmsdmgs (my hawke is still a diplomatic through!) 

also more thoughts underneath 

- i think im really happy that i started to use red (mostly direct) choices but only at specific shitty npcs because ‘WOW! okay, i will throw fists--’ - approval system is really. wow, a lot to figure - normally in a game like this, and like origins, i was going to keep the mods to like, vanilla fixes or whatever but i ended up with correct skin and such mods instead (i got a mod that is a dark skinned  isabela with curly hair and i am. a simple sapphic.)  - also i now remembered why i didn’t play it that much-- the ability to keep switching to check approvals and back to the game and now that i had a second monitor so it helped easily mdsgmdsg (for my first run, im trying to get all friendship points, because why not, and beside if i managed to beat it with all, then my future runs will just ignore the guides from there on! ...and its mostly bc that is what 2016!me meant to try so im doing a favor to my past self for this smdgdsmg)

tfw i just walk through lowtown, and overhearing a group of people talking about ashes and i went ‘wha--’ and his name ( Genitivi ) was mentioned and i went “OH THE ASHES DUDE!” 

....in short, this is me going “oh! my origins save (from last year) carried over had worked!”
