as i’m shamelessly blasting a certain someone’s discography masterpiece i’m then again reminded that the universe as it is truly doesn’t deserve an artist like you. my spotify has a constant replay and your songs happen to keep popping up. by coincidence, i definitely don’t make the rules. so if your monthly listens end up skyrocketing into the millions, this is your gentle nudge that it could quite possibly be a fellow brit supporting an already spectacular artist. between you and me, is there a favourite song out of the bunch that you’d call your number one? / @tomlinsonlou

Danielle very much enjoyed London around the holidays. Everything was decorated so beautifully and there were so many Christmas markets set up to visit, she was happy to have any excuse to visit the city around this time of the year. The fact that part of the reason she was visiting was to meet up with Louis wasn’t something she would have expected, but clearly it wasn’t something that she was against. The actress had very much enjoyed their time together, even though it hadn’t lasted nearly as long as she would have hoped. Dani still didn’t place any blame on things not working out, the timing was just terrible and Louis was going through what would have to be deemed one of the hardest times of his life. As much as she wanted to be there for him to help him and his family through the rough patch, she could also understand why he broke things off, that wasn’t exactly the best headspace for a relationship. Over the years there had to have been hundreds of times that she thought about reaching out, when she saw clothing he might have liked, or heard a song that made her think of him, but she always hesitated because the last thing that Dani wanted to do was remind him of that difficult time in his past.

Sitting in the restaurant the pair agreed to meet at, the actress found herself feeling more nervous than she had in a long time, though she can’t exactly pinpoint why. She supposed part of it was because they hadn’t seen each other in so long, she wasn’t sure what to expect. Taking a sip from the glass of wine in front of her, green eyes often cast themselves toward the door in search of her company. Seeing Louis walk inside she breathes a sigh of relief and feels her stomach flip flop. Standing up, Dani offers him a hug, “is it too cliché to say long time no see?”
