I pulled an exaggerated frown in the mirror one time when I was washing my hands the other day and I realized that sometimes I get this one vertical crease between my eyebrows that's rather prominent and I'm honestly a little obsessed with it now???
dysphoria works hard but this little line on my forehead works harder 💪🏻

                                                     I M A G I N E
New York City, 6:02 A.M.
You woke up in the morning against a warm, breathing body. Your eyes had fluttered slowly, moving your hand to feel Calum’s belly hair that led down to his crotch. Your palm merely swiped over his belly button as you smiled from being this close to your boyfriend.
Although the suite was dim, you rolled your eyes up to see your boyfriend perfectly. Calum was still asleep, with his head fairly back to emphasize his sharp jawline. His plump lips, currently dry and chapped, were slightly parted as he was breathing through his mouth. He crinkled his nose a few times, with a bit of sniffling. His eyes were shut, seeing as he was in a very peaceful slumber.
You attempted to sit up, but Calum’s arm was firmly wrapped around your waist. When you moved by a bit, he squeezed you gently and pulled you even closer. You squealed a bit, seeing as he rose his other arm to grab your waist. With his hands now firmly grasping your hips, you were suddenly pulled onto his body.
“C-Calum?” You spoke soft, eyes widened as you watched your boyfriend wake up below you. Slowly, you were introduced by those favorite almond eyes. He felt as sturdy as a board, feeling as he works out a fair lot. His pupils dilated, looking up at you as his lips curved into a tired smile.
“Mornin’ love,” he breathed, letting out a long yawn as he held you firmly. You smiled, lowering yourself from your sat-up pose to plant a kiss on his lips. “Yuck, morning kisses.”
“Shut up, you didn’t even move away,” you said with an eye roll while sitting back up. Your hands nested on his chest to keep you up.
“That’s because it’s you who I’m kissing,” Calum said with a grin.
“Then I don’t see why you’re complaining,” you countered, having Calum bite his bottom lip in fake thought before accepting it. The two of you stared at one another momentarily before Calum began to sit up. So your legs were on each side of him as he held your lower back to keep you from falling. That’s when you felt someone poke at your butt. “Uh--”
“M’sorry,” Calum grunted. He hung his head low in embarrassment, having you planting a quick kiss on his head. “Morning wood.”
“Oh my gosh!” Giggling, you get off of your boyfriend to see him jump up from the bed and rush into the bathroom. He kept yelling apologies as he slammed the door and dealt with his business. “You know I could help you!” You called out to him.
“It’s 6 in the morning, Y/N!” He yelled back. “I jus... let me handle it!” You giggled again before getting up to pick out your outfit for the day.
7:35 A.M.
You and Calum managed to both shower and get changed before heading out from the hotel. You two have decided to go to a diner to get breakfast and wanted to invite the boys. But, several knocks and calls later, you got nothing but silence in return. So Calum decided that this was the beginning of your first date.
Unfortunately, he wore some sunglasses in attempts to hide his identity by a bit. But, he did do everything a normal boyfriend did. He held the door for you so you can leave the building, first. He grabbed his jacket so you don’t have to just in case you get cold. He’s also switching whether he wants to hold your hand or your waist.
“Which makes you more comfortable?” Calum began as you two walked down the busy blocks of New York City.
“Either one is comfortable, Calum,” you said with a sigh. He may be cute, but he frets over a littlest things.
“I’m just gonna hold your waist then,” he concluded, grabbing you close once more as you clung onto his side. You wrapped your arm around his waist, using the other hand to hold his by your waist.
“Wait, I have a better idea!” You announced, having the both of you stop as Calum looked down at you. You grabbed his arm from your waist and put it over your shoulder. Then, you held his hanging hand from your shoulder so he doesn’t remove it. “There we go.”
“This works,” Calum said with an impressive expression.
But it soon didn’t matter as the two of you arrived at a nice diner at the corner of a block. You loved the feel of diners, but you couldn’t help but feel the dullness due to the busyness that was New York. Calum led you over to a booth, sitting right across from you with a window full of the busy Big Apple.
“Hi, I’ll be your waiter for today,” a nice woman, with blonde locks came over. “What would the two of you like today?”
You ordered what you wanted, watching as the girl noted it down with ease and haste. She looked over at Calum, who removed his glasses briefly to seem respectful. You could tell she liked what she saw, but you didn’t get too mad. After all. Calum brought you to eat breakfast and no one else.
“Alright, would you like some coffee or juice right now?” She stared right at Calum when she offered.
“Baby, d’you want anything right now?” Calum began, looking you straight in the eyes with a soft smile. You smiled back, knowing that he was making you feel much better.
“Coffee would be nice,” you said to the girl, having her eyes dull a bit as Calum requested for coffee as well. Nodding, the girl leaves the booth and lets you two be.
“She was rather obvious, wasn’t she?” Calum began, chuckling a bit as he grabbed the small container of maple syrup and slid it about. You shook your head, pouting a bit.
“I’m gonna be suffering this as disadvantage of dating you, huh?” You muttered, overflowing with this small pinch of jealousy. But that’s when Calum stretched his arm out to you and cupped your cheek with his large hand.
“Yeah, but the only girl I’m set on is you,” he said softly, giving you a reassuring smile as you flushed. “You look so beautiful today, baby.”
“I feel like I look like crap,” you said with a sigh. “With that jet lag and weird sleeping schedule, I had to try a ton to cover up my eyes.” You lightly tapped at your under-eyes, hoping your makeup wasn’t too messy.
“You look absolutely stunning, okay? Don’t think otherwise about it.” You blushed, leaning over the table to give your boyfriend a sweet, tender kiss. As you did, the waitress who took your order came with two plates of food.
“Here’s your meals...” She said quietly and shyly, having you sit back down as she placed the appropriate plates before you. You thanked her, having her leave as you picked up your fork to dig in. You guys chatted while enjoying your meals, sharing laughs and ton of smiles while doing so.
“...And Ashton was just all like, ‘I swear I can hang on this tree for a minute,’“ Calum said with chuckles on his tongue. “And so when he finally climbed onto the branch, he was looking like a sloth almost. And right when he made it to the point he wanted to, he somehow let go by accident and fell right into the water!”
“My cousin really sucks at stuff, doesn’t he?” You said, giggling at the story. Thinking about your cousin doing such silly stuff makes you question how you’re related.
“He can play tons of instruments, sing very well, and put stank on everything,” Calum gushed. “But he absolutely cannot climb and hang off trees.” You giggled as you took a sip of your orange juice. “You’re so cute today, Y/N.”
“I was just drinking some juice,” you began awkwardly, giggling as you put the cup down.
“But just in general, you’re so adorable,” Calum breathed, leaning his cheek on his hand as he stared at you. His eyes looked with adoration, feeling his love from those brown orbs of his. It made your heart race.
“Stop,” you moaned, feeling yourself flush up right in front of him. You tried to cover your face with your hands, but he was quick to grab them and slam them down on the table.
“Don’t cover your face from me, okay?” Calum cooed, feeling a rush from his sudden gentleness. “Don’t deprive me of something so wonderful. I hope to see that face all day today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life.” You couldn’t help but feel goosebumps crawl up your arms as he said those sweet words to you.
“Why you gotta do me like that?” You squealed, taking your hands away from him as you cupped your cheeks. Calum couldn’t help but laugh and you found yourself in euphoria from his smile.
8:50 A.M.
After a lovely breakfast, Calum took you over to Central Park. You’ve always dreamt about it, seeing as it took so much of such an amazing city. The trees were full of life, it’s strong hues of greens filling the place up. The grass was lovely and looked so soft that you just wanted to indulge in it. And the pleasant day made you buzzed, intoxicating yourself with the warmth of the sun and the lovely blue sky.
“This is absolutely the nicest park I’ve ever been to, I think,” Calum said happily as he strolled the both of you around the park. His arm was firmly wrapped around your waist, wanting you as close as possible as the two of you walked. You couldn’t help but feel his love strongly today.
“It looks amazing,” you said softly, seeing as little kids ran around with balloons and ice cream in their hands. It filled you up to see other couples sharing the same happiness you were feeling. You looked over to see Calum smiling widely, enjoying your presence and your voice and everything about you.
“I’ve always wanted to go here with you,” Calum said. “When we came over to the city on our tour, I couldn’t help but think how much you’d love it here. Everything about this park is so you and I always think about you when I’m here. So now that I’m here with you... I’ve accomplished yet another goal.”
“I’m so happy to be here with you,” you said with a wide smile. “Especially after you saying that... I just love you a lot.”
“I love you a lot, too, Y/N.” Calum stopped to plant a kiss on your lips. Continuing your walk all flushed, you two stumbled upon a guitar act. The man was strumming fairly well, with a hat in front of him for money. He began strumming the beat to Despacito.
“Oi mate, keep that running!” Calum began, letting you go softly before going next to the guy. You were confused, looking at Calum with a puzzled smile as he began tracing the beat with his foot. “Come on over in my direction, so thankful for that, it’s such a blessin--yeah.” Calum began to sing to you, pulling you closer with his index finger as you giggled. “Turn every situation into Heaven, yeah.“
“Oh, you are-- my sunrise on the darkest days! Got me feeling some type of way!” Calum changed the lyrics, having you cover your mouth in slight embarrassment. “Make me wanna savor every moment slowly-- slowly.”
“Calum,” you said shyly, watching as he didn’t dare remove his eyes on you. He was singing to you and only you, with everybody else whipping out their phones. He disregarded being recorded because he didn’t care.
“You fit me, tailor-made love, how you put it on. Got the only key, know how to turn it on!” Calum began, offering his hands to you as you took them wholeheartedly. “The way you nibble on my ear, the only words I wanna hear. Baby, take it slow so we can last long!” You blushed as everybody began clapping for Calum. The guitar player began the Spanish verse, having you smile as Calum cheered him on.
“Take it!” The guitar player hollered at Calum, having Calum get to the center of it all and raise his arms in the air.
“Des-pa-cito!” He sang, attempting to make his voice just a suave as Justin when he sings it. You blushed, people clapping and cheering even louder as they dropped money in the hat. Calum took off his glasses and started laughing as he scooped you into a hug.
“You’re too much, Hood!” You exclaimed, playfully slapping his chest with both of your hands.
“Anything for that smile, baby,” Calum said softly before smashing his lips on yours. It felt so gentle and sweet, tasting the maple syrup from earlier on his lips. It was nice and sweet, until a few girls began screaming your way.
“It’s Calum Hood!” A few girls gathered before the both of you, with their phones out. Calum chuckled, reluctantly letting you go to take photos with them. One girl, though, stepped away from the crowd and walked up to you.
“Hi, you’re Y/N, right?” The girl asked sheepishly, having you nod with a welcoming smile. She then rushed into your arms and gave you a hug. You were in shock. One because she was a mere stranger to you, and two because she was hugging you and not Calum Thomas Hood.
“H-hey, you okay?” You began with a surprised, having the other girls and Calum turn over to the scene.
“Thank you for making Calum happy,” the girl said softly, keeping her arms wrapped around you. You felt your heart stop for a moment before you smiled down at the girl. You wrapped your arms around her to complete the embrace. The fans really were sweet.
“Of course,” you murmured at the girl. “All I want is to make him smile.”
“You’re amazing,” she responded, detaching from you to take a selfie. Calum quickly rushed in, hearing the snapping of the photo as she squealed and gave you another hug. Calum found himself fond with this girl, asking for a tag on that photo on Twitter if she posts it.
Walking away from the fans, you couldn’t help but smile lots.
“It looks like you have a fan, huh?” Calum gushed, jabbing his finger in the air by your cheek as you rolled your eyes and pushed it away. “What did she say?”
“Don’t worry about it,” you said, poking his nose as the two of you continued on your stroll. He put on a pout and pleaded for you to tell him, which only led to his defeat.
“Hey, can we rest for a bit?” Calum asked softly, having you look up at him a bit confused. But you obliged, having him walk you onto the grass. He led you over to a fairly secluded area with a tree that provided a lot of shade. The chatter of strangers and laughter of kids lowered itself as Calum led you to the tree.
“Are you tired?” You asked quietly, getting a nod from him. You giggled before sitting down and leaning against the tree. He looked down, having you pat down on your lap. “Take a nap on me.”
“Aren’t you tired as well, love?” Calum asked as he laid down on the floor and placed his sleepy head on your lap. You nodded, releasing a gentle nod as you weaved your fingers through his raven locks.
“We can take turns or something,” you hummed, having him nod as he got himself comfortable. He offered his hand out to you, having you take it with your available hand as he squeezed it tightly.
“I love you so much, Y/N,” Calum whispered. “I’m so happy to spend today with you. I wouldn’t have it any other way...” He slowly began to drift into a deep slumber, having you giggle as he slowly fluttered his eyes shut.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way either, Calum,” you whispered, pressing a kiss against his temple. You saw a smile curve on his lips from that action.
5:28 P.M.
The two of you slept a fair lot at the park. It was intriguing to watch Calum sleep so soundly, without stirring or much nightmares. Ashton always tells you about how he whimpers and shifts in his slumber. But your existence has made him calm down, knowing you’re there.
When Calum switched, you couldn’t help but feel completely safe. He rubbed your scalp the entire time, feeling the tips of his fingers slowly spread around. He sung you a few parts of their songs in the SGFG album, making sure you slept soundly without any loud noises distracted you. Even through your sleep, you felt him give you hourly kisses.
You two then got yourselves some New York pizza. Calum was going insane and took you to a pizzeria way far from the hotel and where you guys were. But you didn’t regret it, as that pizza was amazing and tasted fantastic. Especially with Calum there, you ate happily with laughter shared with your boyfriend.
But now, after being fairly rested and full, Calum took you down to High Line Park. It was a park constructed in the air, distilled in it just like the tracks of certain trains. It was beautiful, for one thing. It was like nothing you have ever experienced before.
There was nature all over the place, even in the middle of the path of the park. Especially in the summer, lovely flowers of blues and pinks bloomed happily. Wooden seats were ornate with people while children calmly strolled in the hands of their guardians.
“This park, I didn’t even know it existed,” Calum began. “But then there was a guy practically advertising it when we were just being tourists around the city. When we heard it was a park in the sky, I don’t think Michael has ever called an Uber so fast in his life.”
“That sounds like him.” you said with a giggle. “But this park is gorgeous, it feels so perfect for the city.”
“At first, I thought I saw everything there was to see in this city,” Calum began, his voice much lower. “But then taking you around, there’s a whole different eye to it.”
“Hm?” You asked, desperate to what romantic thing he can configure that’ll send your heart to the moon.
“The parks look more greener and full of life,” Calum said as he guided you slowly down the pathway. “The sun shines brighter, and I have a strong feeling that when night comes, the lights are going to be much stronger with you. I see so much more and appreciate so much more now that you’re here with me. And you’re mine.”
“Calum...” You softly whispered, finding yourselves to reach the end of the park. He leaned you against the railing, placing both of his hands against the rail to keep you trapped.
“I’m so in love with you,” Calum muttered before placing his lips on yours. The two of yours danced, feeling his lips still slightly chapped but nonetheless plump and welcoming. Your bottom lip was now latched between his as he kept nibbling on it and sliding his warm tongue against it.
You wrapped your arms around Calum’s waist and pulled him closer, feeling his crotch against yours. You swallowed his raspy moan as he gridning into you happily. His teeth began to lightly nibble on your bottom lip, feeling his desperation for stimulation.
“Y/N... stick your tongue out for me...” Calum growled, his lips shiny due to swapping spit. You flushed, hesitant about his request but reluctantly stuck your tongue out. Biting his bottom lip, he quickly wrapped his lips around it and began bobbing it. You couldn’t help but feel turned around as Calum sucked your tongue with glee.
“Cawum,” you moaned, the vibrations from your voice going straight to Calum’s cock. The bulge was finally coming out, rubbing desperately against your crotch as he went back to kissing your lips. You tugged on his shirt, desperately wanting for him to be as close as possible. But before you knew it, Calum’s phone suddenly began to ring.
“Oh for fucks...” He growled, detaching from you as he fished out his phone and picked it up. As he spoke, you began to wipe away the swapped saliva hanging on your bottom lip. “Wait, it’s at 7? I thought the party was at 8!”
Party?
“Alright, fucking,” Calum began, seeming distressed. “I’m gonna grab some dinner with Y/N and I’ll meet you guys outside the place. Deuces.” With that, Calum hung up the phone and sighed. He then turned over to you and smiled widely. Your cheeks were pink, your chest heaved from panting, and your lips were still ornate with some saliva.
“You seem upset,” you began softly, taking Calum’s hands in yours. “You okay?”
“Yeah, I just thought we’d have more alone time and got disappointed,” Calum said with an angry sigh. “There’s a party tonight and I thought it was going to start at 8 or 9 ish. But they moved it early and I’m very tempted to bail.”
“And why can’t you?” You asked with wonder in your tongue.
“Because the management says it’ll be good for the magazines and whatnot,” Calum huffed. “With us and our tour mates-- it’ll be good for media.” You nodded in understanding, squeezing his hands reassuringly.
“We’ll have our alone time afterwards, okay?” You said quietly, trying to lift Calum’s mood. He gives you a smile, having you smiling back at him. “Let’s start heading to grab some food to go to the party.”
“Wait.” You look up at Calum, who digs into his pockets for something. Within seconds, he finds a small container of Chanel lip balm. Uncapping it, he takes a dollop of it on his index finger before closing it and putting it back in his pocket. “Separate your lips a bit.”
“C-Calum...” You whispered, obliging to his commands as he slowly glides his finger over your bottom lip. From right to left, he rubs it with ease. But at the end of your bottom lip, he goes up to your top lip, quivering from his touch. Right to left, he coats your lips with the gentle lip balm before rubbing the extra against his pants.
“There we go,” Calum said with a chuckle. “Now they won’t be chapped.” You blushed, your heart racing from repeating what you’ve down to him onto you. But, feeling audacious, you quickly grabbed his shoulders and pulled yourself up to give him a kiss on his lips.
“You gave me too much, love,” you giggled as you took him by complete surprise.
7:23 P.M.
“This fucking sucks, man,” Calum growled at Ashton as you and the two bands rode up the transparent elevator. You and Calum had met up with the boys outside the Hilton Hotel, as Calum couldn’t be bothered to ask what suite the party resided. Now you were on the elevator, listening to Calum complain to his boyfriend as Taka laughed.
“Stop being a damn baby,” Ashton said as he rolled his eyes.
“I’m not acting like a baby!” Calum spat. “This fucking sucks, dude, this is too early of a start time for a fucking party.”
“Calum, you love parties,” Ashton said with a sigh. “Why the hell are you bitching about it?”
“Because that was before Y/N was around!” Calum emphasized, holding your waist stronger as you looked at him. He looked frustrated, like he truly didn’t want to be here. “Now that she is here and is my girlfriend, I’d have a much better time with her than at any party.”
“Well, sucks to be you,” Ashton breathed as you all finally reached the top floor. “The management wants to eat this up and we haven’t seen most of these guys in a long time.”
Calum slouched painfully, his shoulders dropping as his agitated expression lingers. You giggled at how stubborn he was being. It also made your heart flutter to know that you’re a much better pastime for him than any party. You give him a reassuring nuzzle on the side of his chest, making him smile wide again.
“Now take that stupid scowl off your face before I knock on the door,” Ashton shouted over the music that was blaring from the suite. You giggled, looking up at Calum who forced a smile on himself. There were crinkles at the ends of his eyes, the ones that usually appear when he laughs and smiles widely. You then watch as Ashton knocks on the door and waits for a moment. A minute later, the door is opened and you were all introduced by a beautiful girl.
“Calum!” She quickly squealed after scanning everybody. She barely set her eyes on you as you detached from your boyfriend due to the impact of her hug. You watch as Calum frowns again and reluctantly wraps his arms around the girl.
“Hello, Nia.”
