"the water is so cold!" you exclaimed standing with your legs in the freezing cold sea water, feeling goosebumps ran through your body.

"and you want me to join you" jungwon chuckled, sitting in the sandy beach with his feet buried in the heated san.

you two were on a small trip. you went to another city that was by the seashore on a high-speed train and spend the second day here already. on the first day, you were just walking around this new city, sightseeing and trying new food together. today you planned to go on a beach.

"oh come one, join me! its fun" you said running your hand over the clear water.

jungwon did not hesitate and stood up from his place, slowly coming closer to you. he carefully went into the water and felt a pleasant coolness. "yea, the water is kinda chilly" he thought and looked up to you.

not a second has passed since he was already sprayed with water by you. but he didn't stay away and also started splashing you with water. you both were laughing, feeling nothing but pure joy and happiness.

after a couple of minutes of your 'water fight' you two were already lying on the sand, feeling feeling how the sun warmed you with its warmth.

"its so quiet here, i like it. no noisy people, only pleasant sounds of the sea and your breath at my ear" you giggled, looking at jungwon and meeting his sulky face.

"does that bother you?" he asked, looking like a sad kitten with this pout on his face. you instantly felt bad so you cupped his face and started leaving small pecks all over his face.

"i didn't mean it like that" you looked deep into his eyes, still cupping his face with your hands.

"i know" he suddenly smirks. "i wanted to get those pecks, well, thats why i pouted"

"you know your cute pouty face is my biggest weakness" you smiled and left a peck on his lips now.

pulling back a little, you noticed jungwon's surprised look and the way his gaze fell on your lips.

"do that again"

it was a normal friday afternoon. you were sitting in the class, not listening to your teacher who was talking something about laws in physics. you weren't interested of course, because your attention was focused on the parallel class who were on the street who had physical education.

you were looking at him, your long time crush. with this stupid fluffy hair, cat like eyes and the most adorable smile with dimples. he was out there playing football with his classmates, having a bright smile plastered on his face. "he is so cute" you thought looking at him through the window of second floor's classroom.

when he said something to his friend, laughed and looked up, he noticed you looking at him. not expecting that he would notice, you immediately turned away and pretended that you were writing something down on a notebook.

"he caught me looking at him. thats so embarrassing" you mentally regretted your actions and continued to draw some scribbles on your notebook, trying not to look out of the window.

he saw it and smiled without noticing it himself, and stood there looking at you until his classmates called him.

"hey jungwon, why are you standing there? the class is over, let's go" his friends loud voice brought him to reality and he ran to the others to keep up.

in the hallway during a break, you left the classroom and walked to the canteen as fast as you could, because you were starving so much your stomach was making weird noises mid lesson. you grabbed the food tray and filled it with so many delicious looking things and foods.

you sat down at the table and began to eat completely alone, while at that time so many students with friends and couples were passing around you being busy with chatting and talking about something.

"why are you all alone here?" someone's voice was heard next to you, but you didn't even deign to look at him and therefore continued to eat.

"I don't have friends and, I pretty much enjoy sitting alone" you answered picking at your food with chopsticks.

"then if its okay if i become one?"

only now did you realize who that voice belonged to. turning your head, you saw jungwon, your crush, sitting next to you with his cute smile and charming dimples. your eyes widened and felt how your heart started beating faster than before. he was so close, yet also felt that he was far away from you. realizing that you're staring at him again instead of saying something, you decided to answer hoping that it will lead to your first ever conversation.

"you are doing what you did in the previous lesson" he chuckled a bit referring to the moment when he caught you staring at him"

"that was so embarrassing" you hid your face in your hands, remembering that moment.

"no, it wasn't. it was..cute, so i told my friends about it"

"noo, don't tell anyone please!" you felt even more embarrassed.

"I won't..in one condition" he said with a sly smile on his face.

"what's is that?" you asked taking this risky risk.

"would you like to go out with me?"

it was a rainy day on sunday. you were in your favorite soft blue dress that you wear only for some special occasions. today was the day. well, it didn't go so well as you thought. you planned to go on a date with your boyfriend, whom you loved so much.

you arrived at the meeting place, and with a bright smile you entered into the cute cafe that you really wanted to visit. but your smile instantly faded away as soon as you saw your boyfriend sitting with some girl and hugging her. confused and a little bit angry, you made step forward and the picture finally became clearer. your boyfriend was hugging your best friend, who encouraged you to confess your feelings to him long time ago.

"what are you doing" you whispered, trying so hard to hold your tears. your boyfriend jumped up from his seat and stood in front of you while your already ex-best friend covered her face and sighed wearily.

"let me explain please. this is not what you think it is" he said, and at that moment, he seemed so pathetic and insignificant to you, while he was holding your friend's hand and talking with you at the same time.

"i am smart enough to understand what is happening right now." you said and took one last look at two people you trusted a lot, but now in your eyes they have become strangers to you.

not wanting to see them anymore, you ran out of there and headed to the bus stop to go home. unable to restrain yourself, you burst into tears. it rained heavily and your tears mixed with the rain. no one would even think that you are crying.

you were soaked through, you were cold, you were so tired. the desire to go home and cry there only increased. standing under the bus stop, you examined your soaked dress that stuck to your body. you didn't give a damn about how you looked right now. you weren't up to it.

finally your bus arrived and it half empty. you got on the bus and without paying attention to anyone or anything, sat down at the window seat and quietly sobbed, covering your face with your palms.

you've become so empty inside. it's like you've lost that spark that was in you every time you were with your boyfriend and best friend. however, this spark has faded and you are not sure if it will appear again or not.

you felt someone sitting next to you, but you didn't pay attention because you were still shedding your tears. you turned to the window and began to wipe your face wet with tears. suddenly, the guy sitting next to you gently poked you on the shoulder and held out one of his headphones cord. you looked up at him and gave him a confused look. you remembered. the guy sitting next to you is your classmate, riki. he was always there to support and comfort you. his presence just made you calm down and it was so nice seeing him.

"take it." he said with his soft and gentle voice, that made your heart melt. unsure, but you still took it and as soon as you put them one, he played the calm and sweet song.

'don't you cry in this world out of time, old time out of mind'

you really needed to hear those words. it doesn't matter if it's from a person or from a song. you just wanted to hear that everything was fine.

the bus pulled up to your stop. you took off the earphone and gave it back to riki. smiling faintly at him, you got up from your seat.

"don't know what happened to you, but i hope that now you're okay." he smiled.

you were deeply touched by his words. you didn't want to leave so much, you wanted to stay with him a little longer. it was so nice and pleasant to ride the bus with him listening to music. you found solace in him. but you didn't want to walk around with wet hair, a dress and a tear-stained face. however, you are sure that you will spend time with him like this again. he surely made you feel better, and he was very proud of himself.
