the best advice for how to become a good and well known and loved artist online: be lucky. nothing you do matters if you dont have luck and break out by chance 🤠
#Not Real Advice#it's just what people default to telling me if i tell them ive tried all their other advice and it didjt work lmao#they're like welp its all abiut luck then! and i was born in luck debt. im still in debt and owe interest on it fbbdhjjss#luck is such a goofy thing. you cant predict it or measure it. you cant control it ir do anything abiut it#you can work harder than everyone. do everything “right” and be the best at what you do. bht nothing happens#then some random new artist that started drawing a week ago can get more likes on their first post than you got in 10 years combined#(real story. happened to me on instagram. followed new artist that said they started drawing that year. got 5k likes 1st post in a day)#((meanwhile i got a total of maybe 50 and my first account was multiple years old maybe))#dear artists dont let my frustration discourage you. youre great and do great things (and guaranteed luckier than me if this is true lol)
