big post abt a bunch of my twilight-centric aus (i have lots more that arent about twilight hahah) along with her partner in each au bc i dont want to draw and describe the entire cast of each one rn. also the designs here arent “final” or anything, just what comes to mind when i draw them usually. ok

1. basic au

this ones pretty close to canon and its the one i draw/reference most often. there are minor changes to events in the show (ex. chrysalis gets reformed, starswirl becomes a villain, etc) but its basically the same, especially when it comes to the actual characters! not much to say about this one! pinkie and twilight get married sometime before the finale

2. starryverse au

my most cherished au... i could go on forever about this one!! this au is a “reboot” type thing— all the characters have new names, different designs, and altered personalities and roles. twilight twinkle is a pony created by princess solstice out of pure magic (although twilight doesnt know that). i would write many essays about this if i could so ill Not do that right now... twilight twinkle is very eager to make friends but is pretty bad at it. rose quartz pie (aka rosie pie) becomes her first friend and from then on, twilight has a silly puppy love crush on her that eventually becomes mutual love. rosie pie is an energetic and empathetic baker who specializes in baking party treats.

3. swap au

all the mane 6 ponies are different types of ponies now! ta daaaaa! twilight is an earth pony specializing in potion magic, and pinkie is a party planner who has REALLY weak magic when it comes to anything but chaos and parties. fluttershy is a super strong earth pony who is kind of afraid of her own strength—however, it gives her an advantage when dealing with large or dangerous animals. rainbow dash is a unicorn with the dream of becoming the first-ever unicorn wonderbolt, using her special magic that allows her to run on air. rarity is a pegasus who loves making artistic weather patterns, though these arent always very effective at... weather. she also makes beautiful aerodynamic clothing. applejack is also a pegasus, and feels out of place among her earth pony family. (the secret twist is that her mom was a pegasus! wowww!) she makes special apple treats made from the best apples at the top of the trees, which only she can reach.

4. ascension au

in this au, all of the mane 6 become alicorns and live together and love each other forever and ever YAY

5. time travel au

in this au, twilight accidentally travelled back in time as a teenager to a time before luna was corrupted by nightmare moon. she didnt know about luna, as she was kept a secret by celestia in the present. she and luna fell in love, and had twilight stayed, luna probably wouldnt have become corrupted, since she wouldve had someone who appreciated and believed in her. however, twilight was eventually transported back to the present, thanks to her family finding a spell to bring her back. after learning ehat eventually happened to luna, twilight began trying to create a spell that would free her from the moon. in this au twilight would temporarily be a “villain”

6. basically just canon

in this universe pretty much nothing from canon is changed besides designs. the only thing changed is that instead of “spreading the word of the storm kings defeat” (lol?? thats what magic is for) tempest becomes twilights personal guard. (seriously, why do all the other princesses get guards?)

7. starlight glimmer fucking dies au

ok kidding she doesnt die she just never gets redeemed... instead the “seventh mane 6 member” is luna! after lunas return, she is sent to live in ponyville (because, like, theres NO way she was ready to just. rule equestria) luna is super powered down, out of fear that she could become corrupted again. some of her power is stored in the moon pendant she wears, in case she needs it in an emergency! luna becomes great friends with all of the main characters... i have ideas on how she’d get along with each one heheh! but her dearest friend is twilight sparkle... they just understand each other in a way nopony else can!

first of all your cadance design is 🥺 second of all idk if youve ever been asked this but what would you change about what happened to chrysalis/cozy/tirek? personally i didnt like the whole turned to stone thing. i think itdve been cool if chrysalis and cozy went to live w cadance and shining armor to be good guys. tirek tho...i honestly dont know gfjdksjf

i think iv mentioned here and there about what id change 

but like 100% biggest 100% set in stone change id make is cozy doesnt go to Tartarus at all. She basically gets grounded and sent to live in the castle with Celestia and Luna as their student/new niece. They try to teach her to be nice and all about friendship and stuff and for the most part it seems to work but she’s clearly still scheming and not really playing into being friends especially with any of the princesses.

Discord, totally seeing through her scoops her up to join in the grogar plan and somehow discord out of everyone who has tried to teach her friendship? it was discord and him making her bond with the the villain's. forcing her to learn friendship to gain power. As well as making her remember all the things celestia and luna did for her, how much they love her and want her to be a good person. Cozy would accept a hand of friendship in finale from luna and celestia, as well as go on to become a royal guard in cantorlot. 

Chrysalis after leaving behind her kingdom and wandering alone for a long time she would turn bitter but at the same time, so very lonely. When taken in by ‘Grogar’ she would remember what it was like to be with others in her hive. missing the feeling of having a family. but never saying it to tirek or cozy because that would make her a week queen. she would learn through discords convoluted teaching to not only rely on others but help them in return. to really be a family.

Chrysalis would accept a hand of friendship from Thorax. Chrysalis would work her way into the colony not right away as a queen but as their family who is trying to prove she can be trusted again. helping out where she can, especially with thorax who is a child king and still struggles to know what he is doing. Happy to let chrysalis take on responsibilities that he doesnt know how to do. Chrysalis would even work on rebuilding the trust she broke with the other kingdoms, especially the crystal kingdom and slowly over the years gain cadance’s and shining trust and be friends

Tirek Would be must harder to change, He’s stubborn and only seeks to gain for himself. The only other creature he ever cared about was his brother and he was long gone. However through spending time with cozy and chrysalis, learning to be friends in hopes it would give him more power he inevitably opens up. Grogar/discord would send them out to places that would force Tirek to relive memories of when he still had his brother. He would open up and talk about Scorpan to his new ‘friends’ and somehow find himself letting go of something in his heart  and opening up more room for new things. 

In the finale he would face Starswirl and the pillars. Starswirl expressing that he was wrong, that if he could have befriended scorpan that he should have known to try harder to help befriend Tirek instead of building Tarturus to imprison him. That Scorpan for years expressed that they could change Tirek, make him understand, but starswirl didn't listen. That he didn't then, but he wanted to make up for it now, to do what scorpan asked of him many years. Offering once again, a hand of friendship to tirek. Who is facing the fact that he was loved by his brother until the day he died, that so many people cared about him and that made him stronger than any power he had before.

Tirek would accept the friendship and idk! i can imagine maybe he and starswirl traveling together learning friendship properly together. 

i just wanted them to have a happy ending in the show! it was so weird like! how they seemed to learn friendship? but just still turned them to stone forever? felt weird.

Ohhh, dunno if I have mentioned here before but actually Zury does! Tho only Zed, Luna, Lucien and Cassy (and cuz of that Lys) knows that since she is shy af XD Btw they didnt heard it on purpose, she thought she was alone u.u (except Zed) She sings whatever songs she likes, K-pop included cuz she such a trash  Her voice is soft and energetic~ She has a good vocal range as well, her voice is soprano ^^ Tho she is already busy with her skating career so being a singer or taking part in a band is not in her future plans. She sometimes sings with Cas (and Lys)~

Zury, I created her to resemble me, tho she changed a bit in these few months, she is the person I wanna be so yeah ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Our hobbies, likes, dislikes and styles are same. Even our personality is same 😅 And in the future I wanna dye my hair to pink completely and wanna use purple lenses~

Zed…. 😂 Oh boy, okay, Zury loves stuffed animals but you dont know how much Zed is obsessed with them??? He loves crane machines so much as well!

I did one for Zed in past months so I’m gonna do one for Zury 😂 (as if I dont have any OCs other than them…) 

Probably she would post selfies from trainings and competitions, she can also post her new outfit for the upcoming competition. She would reblog lots of kitty pics and things she is obsessed with (plushies, holo, animes, k-pop groups etc.)

Her layout would be simple but cute with some touches of holo and space, thats her aesthetic after all~

ough my general opinion on like gjkgd all the major mlp villians huh?

nightmare moon? iconic love her fun good horsee pun name and she looked very good. i love luna but sometimes i wish she looked more like nightmare moons design tbh. but i lOVE that luna can make herself look like nightmare moon which is also funny because im like, god she is making the choice to look like that and is right 

the dazzlings, while im not the biggest equestria girls fan that movie was the best one. also their very cute, and their inclusion in the main series is very fun. their simple but im a sucker for music lol

coZY glow?? literally one of my fav villians like forr REAL. she is literally 7 years old and got closer to destorying everything i think than any other villian even her paired with two other villians in the finale?? shes so fucking funny and i loVE her. shes baby and she wants POWer. alSO she is 3 years old and they sent her to super hell jail which while it is fucked up, is also very fucking funny

king sombra is like, sexy voice. but thats sdgjkgh thats kinda it! hes very boring and really did do much. but again veRY funny of him to  die both times he has appeared. also why did twilight learn to do his spooky dark magic stuff, do it twice then never again? what was up with that tho

Tireks like.. fine?  like story and power and being a point to prove where discords loyalty lay with equestria is good. its there, but he’s just not a villian i care about as much i guess. kinda meh yknow? also his design looks bad, its like just to the left of being a pretty ok design but it just looks really bad

the storm king? from the movie? dfjhg really bad man. the movie was very cute but like, man what even was the storm king?? he felt like a fucking henchman who said ‘im no longer baby i want power’ more than the leader of an army?? he just didnt feel important?  tempest shadow felt more important? which she was, but then like. why not just make her the main leader of the army or the only villian in the movie. the storm king only seemed to play a role of furthering tempest’s story?

queen chrysalis? I LOVE HER VERY MUCH LIKE OUIGH i might actually like her more than cozy glow, she is iconic, good ass songs in her episode? also i love changlings i think their neat. 

then with the changlings like? i dont really like how their story went? that chrysalis just ended up not having her peoples best in mind? idk it felt weird, just felt like another plot to make the ponies right instead of doing something to make the changlings wildly misunderstood? alSO chrysalis was right to stay evil and nOT change with the rest of her colony because they look ugly as hell

grogar? like hh literally a huge disappointment. LIKE on one hand i lOVE the reveal of it being discord, i didnt see it coming and i thought it was THE funniest shit in the world. but also! i wish we had gotten real grogar because i love a goat and i wanted to see him actually as a villian doin stuff,,,
