i thought kinitopet was gonna be really gimmicky like luna.exe type of shit where it just puts spooky txt files on your computer or something but im genuinely scared shitless and very impressed by what it could do to my computer. i can imagine how every "hack" was programmed and my computer monitor legitimately doesnt have a webcam so it wasnt able to spook me that way but still it made me shit myself more than once and the atmosphere is incredible. please play it blind for the best experience just trust me

Author Luna mentioned introducing characters which means no more world building which means no more pirate au. The draft sits and I stare at it with a blank expression.

  She hadn’t been expecting anything from the small & soft spoken request for Luna to lean down close to the pony. Only the barest idea of what she could’ve wanted crossed her mind for the quick moment ; maybe she wanted tell her something she was too embarrassed to speak aloud. Or maybe it was just a simple question. 

  As it turned out, it was neither of any of those things.  The moment the pegasus’s lips brushed up against Luna’s cheek, her ears perked up, feathers & fur fluffing up as she found herself unable to move. It was like her kiss had turned to her to stone, and yet everything inside ran in a rapid pace. But would stone blush so furiously?

“  I .. I-I, ah— huh?  ”  the words slurred out, barely able to grasp them as they came tumbling out so clumsily, eyes blinking as she tried to shake off the shock,  “  Uhm .. T-Thank you?  What— ”

                ⁠— it was rare to see such color on her pale cheeks ( rosy & healthy, beaming with adoration ) and while it felt very foreign to her, luna embraced the feeling. slender digits felt at the greenery in her hand, walking slowly to find her beloved ( oh... an endearment for him ) in the huge mob of people. she was the brightest thing in the urban underground & most certainly looked out of place amongst the men versus worked with  — even so, she wanted to partake in this... whatever it was. 

he was a loner by nature, a thinker and always pensive ( he was handsome...) & and upon finding him near a wall, staying idle near one of the cars; luna approached slowly. she felt a bubble of excitement when he finally took notice of her presence. without a single word, the delicate girl got on her tiptoes to dangle the mistletoe above his head. 

her lips pressed against his ( it was hard and when she departed, her lips tingled ) & her face became flushed after the bold move. her mission was simple  — wave the mistletoe, tell him to have a merry christmas ( or happy holidays or whatever full-fledged mortals did ). 

instead she said nothing. absolutely nothing and stood there.
