I feel like I haven't posted photos of my beautiful baby girl, Mackenzie, here in a while so here are some of my recent faves

Last night when I went to bed mackenzie curled up against me by my stomach and chest area and when my parents come in to say goodbye she was still curled up in the same way and it was very cute

I wish everyone could spend time with mackenzie because even tho i talk about her all the time I dont think people really Get how much of an amazing dog she is and I need everyone to love her as much as I do because she deserves it

had a Proud Parent moment just now 

wanted to give mackenzie a treat and we now have two different one, some dog oreos and some milk bones, I grabbed both and put one in each  palm of my hands and mackenzie sat immediately which I tell her to do when I give her treat, but I hadn’t yet so she had to move so I could kneel down but once I got her where I wanted, she sat and I knelt down and put out my hands expecting her to move right away and instead she stayed put

I’ve been trying to teach her to wait/stay, not letting her lunge for a treat when I’m giving it to her or even having her sit and walking a bit away and putting it on the ground. I had her sit but didn’t tell her to wait but she did anyways. Waited until I told her to go and even had to tell her a second time :’)

Got home after being gone for most of the day watching extra life and then work then extra life and mackenzie is right in my spot on the bed by my pillow 💜

I let mackenzie outside in the backyard and she started barking at something next door abd I went out and saw her dash towards it and I was like "mackenzie no!" And she actually stopped like mid rushing

And she doesnt always do that so I'm very proud of her :')

Last night while i was desperately trying to fall asleep, I rolled on my side and right after I felt mackeznie start to move. She wiggled onto her side and then right up against my back, back to back, with her head poking out the top of the covers. It wad very cute 😌

Also when I turned to face the other way after a bit she let me cuddle with her like a stuffed animal but then she moved right when she heard my dad in the kitchen messin with the microwave

For THREE FUCKING HOURS mackenzie was lost tonight

I walked and nick biked and we drove around and asked neighbors and went in circles all the fuck around the place down every single street in the neighborhood multiple times

There had been three people who saw her within the first 20-30 min she got out and then nothing. And then we found her by a house that nick said someone had said they'd seen her earlier near

And when I saw her that RUDE ASS FLUFF BUTT heard me call her name because I saw her ears perk and her look over and then she just casually walked a bit more into the yard even after I started running at her.

The entire fucking thing made worse by the fact that shortly after she got out some neighbors started shooting off fireworks so who knows how that effected what she did or where she went

Everyone keeps scolding her and now she's not gonna be able to go into the backyard without being leashed

Heard nick in the shower giving her a bath talking about how much she scared him and how he "looked for two- no THREE hours, THREE hours you were gone because Nikki left a bit before 6!" Which is almost adorable if this weren't such a horrid night

Tried to see if I could get Mackenzie to lay down by having her sit and drag the treat in front of her downward, like we didn't training Samantha

Except I've taught her to wait and not grab or go for the treat in my hand so the moment I start moving the treat away from her she follows it for a second and then looks up at me sadly until I give up and set the treat down and tell her "good girl" so she can eat it

Asked nick to kinda squeeze my head in a couple places cause it's been hurting today and the pressure feels nice

He didn't entirely understand tho so he mostly kinda rubbed it which felt nice too but Mackenzie was watching from between us and let out a quiet, jealous, annoyed growl like sound at us because she wasn't getting attention or the head rubs lmao

I fell asleep in my chair last night and mackenzie either stayed with me all night or moved at some point to my chair with me

but she just got up and drank a lot of water and then came back and laid where she had been

and it just amuses me that dogs also seem to have the Thirst at 3 in the morning

Needed to express that this is the BESTEST baby and I love her so much!

She is getting so good at waiting even when its her favorite cheese! She let me back up and she waited for most of it. She let me hold it out to her and she waited to bite it!
