Janis pauses her hand, feeling the shivers follow gentle caresses along her spine, goosebumps spreading across her arms. The fingertips are soft and delicate against her bare skin, but it’s the barely-there touch of her partner’s fingernails that send her senses into a frenzy, as if her body is anticipating a more powerful pleasure that hasn’t been promised yet. Or maybe the promise is in the touch, in the way it sparks every part of her to life. Janis places the tablet pen into its rightful place in the case before closing her iPad in, hiding away her sketch.

“Hey,” she greets softly, as if there’s somebody else in this apartment that she could wake up if she’s not quiet. She sets the tablet on the side table and then leans over toward Regina, lying back slightly. Instinctively, Janis’ lips find hers, but not for long despite her partner’s somewhat audible complaint. “I thought you were still sleeping.”

         JORDAN  AND  REGINA  HAD  GONE  SEPARATE  WAYS  FOR  A  PART  OF  A  PARTY,  MAKING  THE  ROUNDS  IN  THE  VARIOUS  SOCIAL  CIRCLES  OF  GODU.  Tonight  he  was  wearing  a  cropped  shirt  with  sleeves  cut  off  and  some  black  cargo  pants.  The  crop  of  the  shirt  left  his  happy  trail  showing  in  male  form  and  ended  up  above  the  waist  in  female  form.  They  had  on  their  trademark  silver  chain  and  pearl  necklace.

         As  soon  as  Jordan  felt  Regina  grip  around  their  arm  they  shifted  from  their  more  masculine  form  to  their  feminine  one.  Just  in  time  to  land  on  her  lap.  They  smiled  as  they  yanked  down,  making  sure  to  hold  their  red  solo  cup  steady  so  nothing  spilled.

          ❝ Hi  babe , ❞  she  giggled,  not  bothering  to  look  at  whoever  Regina  was  talking  to.  They  were  too  preoccupied  with  twirling  the  long  blonde  locks  around  their  fingers  and  pressing    kisses  to  her  neck  and  cheek.

          Shifting  between  forms  was  easier  with  Regina,  and  the  alcohol  helped  top.  Right  now  Jordan  didn't  give  a  fuck  about  what  anyone  else  thought  of  them.  The  music  of  the  party  and  the  smell  of  Regina's  perfume  blocked  out  the  social  presses  and  school  rankings.

games weren't his forte if that is what she was getting at —— especially not her kind. the kind that were often cruel and malicious as some sort of excuse for fun. and despite falling upon the same pedestalled societal hierarchy and running in the same circles , harry typically made it a point to avoid regina where he was able. not wishing to be willingly subjected to the bullshit she dragged in from beneath a pair of designer heels [ ... ] but today he wouldn't quite be so fortunate. lady luck had once been so faithful , yet was now fleeting in cowardice fear as he finds himself alone and cornered and face to face with the beast herself. though the only emotion that paints his features is something akin to disinterest —— with a tinge of annoyance. but in her defense , that was often his most neutral expression.

blues stared down into her own , studying her as she spoke. slow blinks allowed for unfairly long lashes to gently graze his skin each time they fluttered open and shut [ ... ] maybe he really was disinterested and annoyed. there's a long pause being balanced between the two of them as her question lingers in the air , and he takes this time to lean his shoulder into the wall she had all but caged him in. as if he's contemplating —— his head gives a small tilt while the most simple answer of all sat perched and pretty on the tip of his tongue. out. but curiosity was the very thing that killed the cat ; he was nothing if not most curious , and a crooked smile began pulling at the corners of his lips. ❛❛ what's in it for me? ❜❜

janis watched from afar , there was always this sense that after the spring fling that things may start to change . but janis wasn't entirely sure how different things would become . regina was toppled while still somehow staying on top . of course she stayed on top , she was the top of the food chain , and the art freak like janis was down the bottom , but off to the side . not even in the chain of command underneath the superior woman that was regina george .

her breath caught in her throat , not out of fear , but out of anticipation of what regina might decide to do . would she make their lives hell again ? or would she finally leave them alone ? that was all damien and janis wanted , was to be left in peace . the click of pink heels on linoleum flooring sent shivers up her spine , oh how she wished regina would just downgrade to sneakers . " i'm sure doctors advised you against the louboutin's . what do you want ? "

"Jesus fucking Christ! I leave the state and still can't fucking get away from you!" Janis exclaims over the loud party music, running fingers over recently cut, recently dyed hair. She purposefully left Illinois to get away from people she knew, start anew at an university some place else. And yet, here she is, first month of school, at a crazy slightly off-campus party, in front of Regina George, the apex predator herself. This was the girl that one of her newer friends wanted her to help him hook up with. Although, now that she knew Regina was here, of course this is who he'd go after. Janis had agreed to play wingwoman, but she definitely couldn't wouldn't help here.

i have caroline forbes and bonnie bennett from tvd. caroline and regina are two side of the same coin. i feel like they would have some truly iconic banter and bickering. would they get along? sometimes ... would everything be pink ? YES

i'm not sure how bonnie would react to regina? she's really over the whole fighting for popularity thing. maybe there is a problem that only magic can solve that brings them together.

it's hard to imagine yourself when you were young. maybe you were meant to be a hero ; maybe you could have been , in another world , but this world only made you sad. there seemed to be too many problems to fix and too much cruelty and too many hard lines that you did not know how to soften. the world turns and it is bloody and hard and you sit on your bed , thinking about the blood and the hardness and all you failed to do. i know it feels like you could sleep until the end of time , but i hope you don't. i hope you lift yourself out of bed one day , not to save the world , but to peel an orange and to walk in a forest ; to find all the softness you could not create.
