DAILY PROPHET. MARCH 9th, 1980.

THE MINISTRY HAS BEEN ATTACKED. HUNDREDS ARE DEAD. DOZENS ARE INJURED. THE DEPARTMENTS HAVE ALL BEEN SET ABLAZE.

an attack against the ministry occurred late last night. there was an explosion in the department of magical law enforcement and another in the department of international magical cooperation. the assault was well under way by the time anyone realized what was occurring. the department of mysteries was completely destroyed and set on fire. chances of restoring material before the attack is slim. hundreds were found dead including our recently appointed minister of magic, millicent bagnold. the ministry has never experienced an attack on this level and authorities were left absolutely stunned by the events that unfolded. the only sign of the culprit was the word  U L T I O  glowing eerily in the midst of smoke and ash. no one could have seen this coming. all the remaining aurors and hit wizards and witches have set their sights on seeking out ultio.

will this be the last of ultio or do they have something else planned ?

an event in the center of diagon alley is being prepared for tomorrow night. we hope to remember those we lost and show ultio that we will not stand down and that we are not afraid.
