a required book for one of my classes is way way out of my price budget, so i had to look for Alternative Methods to get ahold of it... but you see it's a niche particular book that wasn't on any pdf-sharing sites... except for the very last one I looked at. Peace and love on planet earth for whoever uploaded that pdf.

#eli talks #making your students spend nearly 200 dollars on textbooks for ONE CLASS is vile btw #this is a humanities class. this is religious studies. there's no need for it to be this much money.#this book was like 50-60 bucks. btw.#i have like 40 dollars in my bank account. until January.#i get that math and biology and physics textbooks cost a lot of money #but the humanities is usually VERY cheap in my experience. like 5-15 per book. with shipping.#ETA: rip to any classmates that thought “ill just pirate it” like i did #esp the ones that dont know how to pirate #or have the same resources for it that i do #i pray god sends them to me so i can send them the pdf myself
