Sad Ben 10,000 Headcanon

In the original series, one of the examples of Ben 10,000 being a “jerk” according to 10 year old Ben was him no longer naming his aliens. Yet we’re never given an official reason why. One interesting tidbit is that he didn’t have a name for Articguana until his child self suggested it. Yet OV shows Ben Prime having unlocked him at age 11. This can be seen with Kevin’s flashback mutation which consisted of the other 10 aliens Ben unlocked in the OS as well as in “Ben Again” where the 11 year old Ben in teen Ben’s body knew how to use him.

I do have a likely theory for why the original Ben 10,000 stopped naming his aliens at 11 and was already on a downward spiral towards becoming cynical and a workaholic. You know what incident occurred when Ben was 11 that shook him to the core? Malware destroying Feedback. My HC is that the same happened to the original Ben 10,000 but since he never removed the Omnitrix as it didn’t recalibrate like the AF version, he instead stopped naming his transformations and began losing the joy of being a hero since he never took a temporary retirement like Ben Prime. I also like to think his outfit with the black shirt and white chest stripe was a way of paying homage to Feedback.

So there’s my theory on why Ben 10,000 stopped naming his aliens in the OS and why he didn’t have a name for Articguana despite his Prime self having one. Also a side note, but watching Malware destroy Feedback was one of the scariest moments for me as a child especially when he’s being disintegrated as shown above.

Ben 10 omniverse au

I was watching "and then there was ben" episode and came to think, what if i made a lil silly au with reboot ben in the mix,he helps paradox find other alternate versions of ben to help win the fight agains't eon's team, i am full believer that reboot ben would manage to get some mentally and socially unstable versions of ben on his team.

Like :

• Malware ben ( ben growing up with malware traped in the omnitrix?he's a runaway and grew up with malware whispering ideas to him like the lil demon on the shoulder ).

• Rooters ben ( from a secondary gwen 10 timeline where ben ran away with kevin and later joined the rooters ).

• Nemetrix ben ( a version of ben that found the nemetrix and has it sticked to his neck like a dog collar, didn't like it at the start but got used to it ).

• Mercenary ben (a version of ben that was kidnapped and raised by tetrax after he found the omnitrix ).

• Conqueror Ben (a alternate version of ben that was captured by vilgax and a way to keep the plumbers away from him, since he had the magistrate's 5 year old grandson in his power, and raised by him, since he saw a chance of another loyal follower, eventually got the nemetrix like his other alternate self).

• Hex ben ( another ben from a secondary gwen 10 timeline, didn't got along with his gwen and eventually ended running away because of her ego as a hero, ended up as hex aprentice, doesn't like the main gwen 10 but will stand her for the sake of keeping his universe and "uncle" hex safe).

• Ten ten ben ( a version of ben raised by seven seven, doesn't have a watch or anodite powers but is a very good bounty hunter, is often confused with a sotoraggian due to his bounty hunter gear ).

baby reboot ben did an amazing job finding members for the team even if omniverse ben, UA ben and AF ben would have prefered some less mentally unstable versions of themselfs.

Will draw some of this later because i'm currently in love with this au.

About the AU

It's basically an AU where Vilgax, Albedo and Ben work for Azmuth. In this AU

Ben is not exactly human, Malware has a parasite-host relationship (Long story).

Albedo and Vilgax are not exactly good but they are calmer than their original version.

In this AU, the Omnitrix bearer is a boy named Charlie, who meets the NeutronTrix.

I made this a while back for an AU a Friend and I are making, but here’s Malware and Ben! They’re form an AU where Ben was raised on Galvan Prime. For context, Malware’s DNA was fixed before he could do any uh, murder lol. But he and Ben become like brothers. Ben’s a little more cynical in this AU, being more easily irritated and hot headed. He’s still sassy tho lol.

Could Ben have cured Malware?

The completed Omnitrix has the DNA repair feature unlike the ultimatrix and like the prototype. Ben was able to use the prototype to repair the genetic damage to the Highbreed by mixing their DNA with genetic codes from the Omnitrix. In UA he tried to do this again with the arachnichimp DN-Aliens but found that the Ultimatrix didn’t have this feature.

Since the new Omnitrix has this feature, could it have helped Malware? It seemed like Azmuth was going to offer it to him just before the probes attacked Malware in Showdown Part 2. I’m still a bit salty about how Malware was acknowledged as a victim but still given a brutal death and never even allowed peace in death due to being made a museum exhibit then having his corpse made into a weapon for Vilgax. Azmuth promised to cure him but then he went into exile on Xenon until SOTO for who knows how many years only to come back and be made the Galvan equivalent of president. Malware being impatient and angry at that is understandable even if him going on a rampage isn’t. Albedo ended up sabotaging the helix to kill him which only corrupted him further. Albedo making buggy tech that causes suffering is a reoccurring issue (the sentient ultimates) and one that isn’t focused on enough.

It seemed like the writers forgot that the Omnitrix isn’t just a weapon but can be used as a tool to help those in need. This applies to the way bads as well who were also victims and Psychobos took normally peaceful beings and corrupted them into weapons. They were just dumped in the null void instead of given help. Ben using the Omnitrix to cure Malware would have made the story more powerful in my opinion as he could emphasize with wanting to feel whole with feedback and wasn’t that the whole point of the Omnitrix? To let the wearer walk in the shoes of other beings. Malware did a lot of horrible things no doubt but he was never really given a chance to do better. He deserved redemption and so did the way bads. Glad the fanfic Ben 10 Guardians did give Malware a happier ending. I don’t really agree with the idea that Ben 10 is fascist but some of the writing especially in OV definitely gives off a pro punishment, pro cop feel. This isn’t me hating Ben, just the writing but isn’t he the one who once said “it’s in my interest to help anyone who needs it” to someone who wanted to wipe out all humans?

1. ben's character

I love ben man but his character is so god damn inconsistent and mishandled, not the "he learns his lesson now :)) sike!!" part, it's just they never treated him like a character but more of a punching bag mascot cuz "hahahah ben suckkss asss lolloll" and it doesn't help the fact that he's paired with a girl who hates his guts and only likes his aliens, and trying to convince as that she is good for her (benkai is such a weird pairing like wtf)

ben deserves a god damn breakdown or corruption arc of how shit he's been shit through

2. alien x

I'm sorry but he's just a power creep win button to give ben some sort of god powers to me and also writers fix it button, I would forgive it if it's actually tied to ben's character arc but that's not the case, and I just rolled my eye even more that they are much more power aliens than alien x, and also the fact that he can fully control him now like, ehhhhh

also alien x being in the omnitrix doesn't make any sense, they are probably gods and wrap reality and why they have like normal dna's like the other aliens, it would make sense if they can actually wrap reality but not to an extent or not them in an omnitrix at all and some electric boogaloo shenanigans that ben can only one to speak or use their powers or some shit like that

and the fact they never go further of how ben's universe actually got destroyed and everything is just a duplicate to the original just proving my point
