2024 was a very tumultuous year for me with some interpersonal drama and mental health issues but I didn't get laid off work a month after moving again so I still count this year as a win lol.

I met a lotta cool people and while I didn't do a ton of art or writing, I did sew 2.5 whole costumes this year!!! All of Nanami and Marcille plus new pants, shoes, and modifications for Johnny. I really got some passion for cosplay back that I lost during the pandemic :)

On the flipside of things, while there was some rocky stuff with moving to a new building, work is going well, I got to read some new books and listen to a lot of podcasts, and Ive been able to keep up with my parents, even going thrifting with my dad. Its nice to have that rock when I am having issues with friends.

I am also SO SO SO happy with the progress on my cat and her anxiety issues, she has been improving tremendously and now puts up with my roommate and their cat.

This year I didnt get out a ton with friends sadly, but I did see some musicals and markets, spend some time at Harvest Festival, and go to multiple cons: AEX Fredericton in April, Animaritime in June, Freddy Beach fanfest in August, and HalCon in November. I did two costume contests (Animaritime and Halcon) and got judges choice.for Marcille at HalCon!!

Also: the solar eclipse was the day before my 26th birthday and it was AMAZING. The weather was perfect and I am so glad I took the day off... I almost cried. Beautiful.

My plans for 2025 are to work on some costumes using supplies I already have, reorganize our sewing room and apartment, work on my pile of games and comics that need to be read/played, and to try and practice digital art more along with painting more.

Hoping 2025 will be better. Im having a belated christmas party in January so that at least means it will hopefully start well.
