Maybe unpopular opinion but I feel like the Ark memory system in Shining Nikki is a way worse game mechanic than the dream weaver institute in Love Nikki. In LN, you get to play through the memories while being tasked with collecting certain clothes and getting rewarded with unique items. But in SN, you can read through the memories of the designers you’ve met if you want, but it doesn’t feel like you’re rewarded for going out of your way to read the lore. This is disappointing considering SN seems to have less interesting lore than LN so far unless I’m very wrong.

perhaps a controversial take but I do believe that mark winters was not meant to be a father in the sense that he has any parenting skill but he was DEFINITELY meant to be a deadbeat dad. like even if his wife hadn’t died it would still be his calling to pick up ashe from a friend’s house, ask how it was, then respond with an “mm.” after a pause of at least 3 seconds past ashe’s response and then spend the rest of the car ride silent

I was in an mtg server discussing color pie stuff and I mentioned how much I love blogatog.
