more hadestown au doodles, because this au is rotting my brain, and also me trying to figure out how the hell to draw martyn’s wing coloring
#galaxyofart#property police#evoshipping#trafficshipping#okay so#martyn is a common chaffinch#jimmy is a canary#that's the birds they're based on#both of them. songbirds <3 (also. i feel a joke about lovebirds could be made here too)#martyn's outfit is just eurydice's outfit but in green#and also i changed jimmy from the last drawing i did for this au#and i changed martyn's eyecolor to green#also made his hair longer and added a hairbow because i could not figure out a headband for this particular hairstyle#okay so in order from up left to the right#1 - just me trying to see how to color martyn's wings! references were used because i wanted it to look okay#2 - these birds gay! good for them!#3 - okay so. in come home with me orpheus gives eurydice a paper flower. this is that#4 - i dont think it's a thing for every recording of the musical but in the recording i watched persephone puts the red flower on-#-eurydice's hair and so i wanted to draw martyn with the flower on his head (but this time is jimmy who puts it there)#pp hadestown au
