murdock family camping trip!

okay so ive never been camping so im basing this solely off of what ive seen in tv and movies😭

obvi there wld be a campfire and smores and ghost stories and help the kids w catching fireflies and shit but like

i feel like matt wld be a lil bit of a "i wld rather not sleep on the ground w bugs and snakes and dirt" kind of guy and you wld have to be like "matthew michael murdock you lay down in this sleeping bag with me or so help me i will never do [insert thing here] again😡"

STOP I LOVE THIS. I’ve also never been camping so we can be clueless together

Matt is such a little princess. He has to have luxury things

“There’s a cabin that we can still rent!” Matt says.

“No. The kids want to go camping so we are going camping.”

“We already did s’mores and built the fireplace! That was fun and all, but now it’s time to actually have some fun.” He wraps his arms around your waist and kisses your cheek while you’re laying out the sleeping bags. “Do you really want sex on the dirt, in a small sleeping bag?”

You laugh, “Who says we’re having sex?”

“Oh come on!” Matt groans. “This is the perfect time. And it’ll be even more perfect if we got a cabin with a heater and pillows and a queen sized bed.”

You smile, “I think we can survive without a mattress for one night.”

You wiggle out of his grip. “Help me pack up the food.”

Matt’s like 😐😐😐 “I’m blind you know! What if a bear attacks. I’d be dead before you all!”

“I highly doubt that,” you snort. You call the kids back from the little lake they’re playing at and tell them to get ready to sleep.

Matt just cannot stop complaining. You ignore him until you get into your tent.

“Last chance to get a cabin,” Matt sings.

You take ahold of his shirt collar. You are behind annoyed now.

“Matthew Michael Murdock, you lay down in this sleeping bag with me, or so help me I will never cook any meal again, do laundry, or kiss you after I tie your tie.”

He gasps. Literally gasps. “No please don’t not cook again. I love your cooking. God your pancakes are just heavenly.”

A coy smile plays at your lips and you move one hand down to his sweatpants. “And if I hear as so much as a peep from you I will feed you to a bear and throw you in the lake.”

“I am aroused and terrified at the same time,” he remarks.

You giggle and peck his lips. “Good. Good night baby.”

“Goodnight sweetheart.”

You never hear another complaint from him for the next two days
