okay im curious . everyone share your favourite pillars class
#my current fave rn i think is rogue ? but cipher is a very close second bcus i find it just such a fascinating class lore wise#rogue is my fave bcus im . very biased . i like playing scrappy characters and i like being in the middle of battles#hm . cipher/rogue multiclass . i need to play it rn . moving celenceh into deadfire even tho i havent finished 1 w her#mauve.txt#pillars of eternity#also please feel free to share your favourite multiclassing too if thats ur thing#i just want to see what kinda classes ppl like in these games !

i think my biggest wish for a pillars of eternity 3 [aside from . wishing it to happen . ahem] is that they improve on sidekicks just a little bit if they decide to do them again ., and by that i mean like - giving them likes , dislikes , reputations w others , bcus i know they Have that tab but im not seeing any ups or downs w them and any of the other companions . i think giving them i guess mini companion quests would be sweet too !

im still really frustrated abt how sims 4 does gender cus its just so . surface level . if that makes sense . it is still determined on what frame you select for said sim . so lets say ur a trans masc sim with a feminine frame who has a child . thats cool . whats Not Cool is that the game will just decide that you are "mom" and you dont even get a choice in that .,

my watcher is my specialist guy ever cus he's so . hes just so . ough info-dump time ! sorry in advance
vicious is a human nature godlike , from the deadfire archipelago , and a former mercenary . he's been raised as a mercenary his whole life , by his father after being taken from his mother at birth [by his father] . yes he has issues about it . i dont think vicious will ever be able to meet her . especially considering she'd be expecting to meet a daughter , and not a son . his father mostly wanted him as a figurehead , a shining spot on his mercenary group due to him being a godlike ,. something to give it attention - more money , more status , more control . he reveres his son as a fragment of luck more than he loves him as his child . his dad did love him , twisted as he was - but it was never enough . even with all that , it does Not work . but vicious never gets to leave being a mercenary until he's 25 , right at the start of pillars of eternity . while also being hunted by another group he ended up crossing , due to a hit gone awry . he has no idea of that ,. until they take his eye and antler post-game . in hindsight its unfortunate and sad that he's been killing since he was 10 . he's a rogue because i really like rogues he fights very scrappy and ends up being downed in so many fights . he can't dodge to save his soul . he has many issues surrounding galawain and how silent his god is to him , even at 30 years old during deadfire . he sees berath more like his godlike parent than galawain . he's a trans man . he stole a baby orlan [vela] and ended up raising her as his own - which he has a lot of turmoil about ,. he's trying not to be his father . he likes bad jokes . he forgets his winks don't come across as winks anymore . so he just blinks . he tries to choose kindness , duty , and he tries to be rational , but can't help when his hands get covered in blood . he's more honest than deceptive . he's really bad at lying . he kisses aloth .
i think abt him so much ., he struggles sooo much with being a godlike , being galawain's son , being made to be a figurehead instead of having a childhood ., despite all that he's actually quite well-adjusted for someone with . All That going on .
#i normally don't put my oc ramblings into their respective fandom main tags#but um . thats mostly cus of fear#so this is me doing that to be more at ease in sharing my ocs with the wider public LOL#anyways . he's my guy of all time . . . . ive been playing thru deadfire w him again at a slower rate#but im enjoying my time w him . cus the difference between him during poe1 and deadfire is actually noticeable#i have another watcher in the works right now and i also have my envoys that i'd like to share [especially emyr]#and also d'arc ramblings i want to share#idk what it is abt obisidian's writing . but it gives me so much breathing room in how much i can do with my ocs backstories#normally i dont go tooo insane with certain games and how i can write my ocs backstories#but w obsidians writing ? i just go absolutely batshit . and i have sooo much fun in doing so ! !#mauve.txt#pillars of eternity#vicious#oc tag#long post#ummm . let me kno w if i should put thsi under a readmore

so im just gonna ask in the pillars of eternity tags but im just wondering - what can i do to get my game to recognize my saves ? it only loads my autosaves , no other save . and i genuinely dont know whats happening bcus to me they look like theyre all saving in the same spot . x-x has anyone else had this . . . its like its not even saving my game , the last save is july 2024 .
#it might not be a bug - i had to turn off onedrive on my pc#its no longer connected to onedrive - still having this issue#ive moved the game to a different drive - still had the issue#im just wahghghghgh i dont knowww . i dont know if when it was under onedrive it had a different file name and its still connected there#or what . but i miss pillars of eternity . i want to play it again . i need to see vicious [my watcher] again#pillars of eternity#mauve.txt
