i am sitting here banging my head trying to give severus and percy the peace they deserve and i am plagued by the alternative: percy on a pilgrimage not to france or india or australia, not with severus to help him painstakingly knit the pieces of his soul back together, not to discover the power that always ran through his body, but to the past, perhaps, to a tom who does not recognise him, to a boy many years ago who may be irredeemable but may be capable of change.....
