Heyyy it’s ur Monbebe Secret Santa 🎅🏼 Yes, it’s been a nice busy!! Mostly been hanging out with friends, but now all my social events are done and I will be in hibernation mode until the New Year 😌

Fatal Love was my first ever kpop album because it was also the first comeback I was around for! It was also on sale hahaha so I thought ‘why not.’ I agree, it’s a solid album and it’s just so sexy that they did that. I have some such a random assortment of albums, tbh! 8 of them are GOT7 related (a mix group/sub unit and solo stuff, they’re my favourite group), 2 twice albums (1 group and 1 solo), 2 seventeen albums (I love them so much too, one of the first groups I got into!!) and 3 B.I (Kim Hanbin) albums because I love his entire discography! I think this is where my collection will stop growing lmao I’m running out of space 😂

I am soooooo excited as well, I’ll also be losing my mind regardless! I hope the title track punches me in the face 🫡

oh that sounds great! I've been overwhelmed busy recently, but tomorrow I'm going to spend a week with my dad and go into hibernation mode as well haha. does it snow where you live? I love when it's snowy outside and I'm bundled up inside.

that's just such a good first comeback. Love Killa blew us all away. Shownu's little body-ody-ody-ody hip move and Minhyuk looking stupid good through the entire era... it really is so sexy of them.

ooh good taste! what did you think of Jackson's new song? while 100 Reasons was, is, and always will be queen, I've really been enjoying his experiments in this new sound. and B.I... so iconic of you. "BTBT" is so good, and one of the few songs where that jammed in line that doesn't really fit the previous rhythm ("cause I don't really do this") really, really worked. his other stuff is good, too, obviously, but oof that one...

I hope the title track puts me in a coma, but also the Changkyun and Wooki produced song?!?! I am LOOKING.

I'm so boring,most of the television I watch is stuff I can watch with half my brain and not get distracted since I watch it at work while I'm doing the tedious stuff OTL so it's not good. but I'm slowly working through "Reboot" and the most recent season of "What We Do In The Shadows" at the gym. how about you? what good stuff would you recommend?

other groups? it's me and Shim Changmin in a constant standoff. I love his music but he can meet me in the Hague. other than that, I'm still such a boy band lesbian. Seventeen, TXT, Forestella (ignore "Utopia") WayV, and Woodz are some of my not Changmin faves.

and if I'm in an Ateez-but-not Discord where we had to put them in containment (a secondary channel) so as not to spam, and also so my bestie/nemesis and I can have one conversation excited about something they're doing while at the same time having another conversation dunking on each other for liking Ateez... then what of it...

Oh, your birthday is the first day of spring, that's very nice ^u^ and about typhoon, I get it sometimes we get free days thanks to the rain.

And my favorite season is winter, because where I live gets humid during spring and summer, also I love winter clothes like hoodies and sweaters.

Btw, talking about hoodies... I saw on your blog you like Changkyun, how he became your favorite and what do you like of him?

ugh yes humidity is the worst and I'm just happy because I was able to break out my sweatshirts this week (I say as I chose to live on a tropical island lmao)

yes! changkyun is my favorite and has been since I became a mbb! my favs are usually rappers lmao and he just raps so well. plus I love how in interviews and variety shows and shit that he says what he's thinking and doesn't hold back lmao. like he has some of the best one liners haha. though one of my favorite variety show moments with him is during mxray3 when he and wonho were angmates like it was so fucking cute. not to mention how good of a performer he is (though that could be said of all of mx)

the style of songs he writes are also very aligned with my tastes(sad and horny😔) like night view is one of my favorite songs ever. I loved his solo album. some of my other favorites are UR, fly with me, and mohae

So to answer ur last question about collecting: I am a very very casual collector of albums lol if I like the group, the artist, songs and album concept I will buy it. I think I have about 16 albums or something because I don’t buy multiple versions hahaha Fatal Love is the only MX one I have though.

ooh what albums made the cut? and what made you pick Fatal Love specifically? it's one of my favorite albums (it was the first full album I was really around for, so that might be it). and tbh there's no right or wrong way to collect (or not collect), the only invalid way is when people mass order just for the sales numbers, I said what I said.

and oh my godddddd I am so excited for this comeback. I have given up trying to guess what the sound is going to be based on title and teaser graphics, but I'm really really hoping it's got some musical depth to it. I haven't loved the last few releases, the last one I was fully on board with was "Gambler" (and not just cause it was the last one with Shownu, even though he does improve everything!) so I'm hoping it'll be more reminiscent of their older stuff. but honestly, whatever it is, I'll be losing my mind.

I remember my roommate made me listen to Fantasia when we were unpacking groceries in 2020 and I remember liking Stand Up (I think that’s the song title), but I didn’t bother looking the group up or asking my roommate about them LOL until she sat me down for Love Killa few months later hahaha OMG same! The Fatal Love era was the first one I was around for too! Bdksbdksjd not that guy getting his feeling hurt 💀💀💀 can anyone get on his level?? Shoot Out was iconic for sure! That chest move changed lives.

Do you collect monsta x albums or albums for other groups? :)

"Stand Up" is so funny, like here's this mini album that picks up your brain by the lapels and shakes it, and then there's the fun pop song. "Chaotic Love" messed me up (complimentary).

"Love Killa" is so good! My sister won't let our cousin and I play it in the car, tho. When he said "Look into my eyes, and just say, I want you to eat me like a main dish" she said she was gonna drive off the road, and she warns us "you better not play that main dish song!" and I really can't blame her.

I felt bad for about a half second, but he needs to understand, as we all do. I have radically accepted that my tiddies do not hold a candle to Shownu or Wonho's. Can you believe we have to live without both of them? A crime tbh.

I don't collect anything, but that's 99% cause I can't shake that old Child Of Divorce Instinct to not bring anything into my apartment that I won't use regularly or consume. (I say like I don't have an embarrassing number of scented candles and bath products, and it'll take forever to actually use them all) No judgement to anyone who enjoys collecting things, I just personally don't. ooh hi! it is night here, was literally about to go to bed before this but don't worry I also kept myself up lmao

but that's tough. when I lived in a place with four seasons I'd say spring because I fucking hate being cold and it means winter is ending lmao. also my birthday is the first day of spring.

but now I live where it doesn't go below 65f/12c often so no true seasons. and spring means wet. so I'm going to cheat a bit and say typhoon season because it means a day off work even if the last few have failed me and hit on weekends
