#yes this post is about GREGOR THE OVERLANDER#me a few hours ago: yeah I remember those books being kinda intense. really resonated with me as a kid#me reading the plot synopsies on wikipedia: JESUS CHRIST#anyways shoutouts to those books <3 forgot how much major character death and dissection of wartime propaganda happened in them#but they did comfort me as a kid to see an honest look at mental health issues in characters my own age#even if the [REDACTED] thing that happens in the final book has haunted me and stayed with me well into adulthood <3#gregor the overlander#the underland chronicles#suzanne collins#books#reading
