hello my love 🙇🏻‍♀️ i don't know myself, it's scary🧍🏻‍♀️i only started using it when i made this tumblr account but my stuff is all very basic so i'm the wrong person to ask💀 i feel like you can do so much with it tho, especially since imo it's way less restrictive creativity wise if you for example compare it to picsart or what's the other, canva? 🧍🏻‍♀️💓 HAHAHA

Ok, it's really irritating me how IbisPaint is (like a shit ton of other programs) trying to push people to buy memberships.

I mean, I can't even fucking reorder my artpieces without it telling me, "Oh, that's a membership feature. You want to try it out?"

No, I don't want to fucking try it out! I want to be able to move my fucking pieces in the order I want to.

(And FYI, the way Ibis orders your pieces is so that the first one is not the most recent you've edited, but the most recent you've created)

And I know for now, the brushes are safe because of the ads (which is honestly kind of genius. That is how ads should work on apps like Ibis. They should work so that when you watch the add, you can then use the brushes or whatever's offered).

But I know full fucking well that in a few months time, Ibis is probably going to decide that you need a membership in order to even use those brushes.

And honestly, at that point, I might just ask my parents to pay for ProCreate, because it's an upfront one time payment, whereas the Ibis membership is 21 fucking dollars a year.

(And the thing is I don't want ProCreate, because even though I have an ApplePen & use it, I color with my cheap ass stylus because I don't want to fuck up the tip of my ApplePen. And even though I know the ApplePen comes with one replacible tip, and even though you can technically also buy pen tip packs, I have a Gen 1, and it looks like Apple's slowly discontinuing that one. So that's fucking fun)

What drawing apps and brushes do you use! (Love your art btw)

Hello person!!!

The app I use a lot is IbisPaint, I’m trying to expand alittle bit on other apps but ibisPaint is much easier for to use cause of being really good on iPhone ((I don’t have a tablet at the moment, cause my aunt took and never gave it back so no tablet haha…))

IbisPaint to me is good start if ur more on the phone part and stuff and doing for it cheaper- I won’t lie, I do hate the ad stuff but that’s just what it is- but there is ton of other app for drawing, and new things to explore on those as well!

Now the brushes… well that is all over the place for multitude reasons.

One: I find new brushes on the main scroll thingy, and try them and love them, and use them more than the others

Two: I use alot of different brushes, especially for rendering plus shading-

But here’s what I main use-

((Genius pen is my favorite for looking sketchy, and using the water color and the alcohol makes it look like u painted almost, well not really but it’s fun tho!

Now over this, these pens are usually found in the basic pen pack that is preinstalled so you’ll able to use them ((sadly have to pay or watch a ad, again sucks but it’s not that bad!))

Anywho sorry for the silly ramble, do hope this help if you’re looking for drawing app, plus ibisPaint is free on iPhone, but with those I shown have to be paid or watch a ad, but it’s worth if your a quick drawer and stuff-
