hey alexa how to not tell my boss that the reason i'm not going to our christmas party is a) i hate white elephant gift exchanges and b) i can't stomach the idea of playing professional but festive at this time of year

#it's three weeks until christmas and you want me to add another gift to my buy list?? and it's like the hardest gift of all?? AND you want m #me* to attend ANOTHER social event with you people when you've already scheduled two others this month? when i could be spending it with pe #people* i love and care about??#while i also have a billion work things to do before the new year?#three hours of a workday is currently actually a very important amount for me right now??
