genuinely shocked and disgusted at all the shuro discourse. So excited to finally look up some fan content about him without fear of spoilers and the majority is just posts completely misunderstanding him or people having to defend him against dumb idiots with no media literacy or cultural awareness

#if shuro was a white man everyone and their mom would be drawing ten million yaoi of them hatefucking or smth #obviously saying 'actually theyre boyfriends! uwu' isn't an appropriate response to the fandom racism that is going on here #it's just so wild. ppl getting mad at toshiro bc they think he has double standards when it comes to laios and falin #and then villainizing him for being upset with laios when they have no problem with other (white) characters who do the same #like. chilchuck is constantly criticising laios or even making fun of him bc of his poor social skills. but when he does that its funny #meanwhile shuro is hashtag toxic bc he got mad after. literally being hit in the face by laios without warning
