hi there! I apologize if this is on the SYW FAQ, but how do you go about writing SYW? I'm interested in creating a webcomic, but i'm not entirely sure how to write for it.

as far as the process for making syw, i think a LOT about the plot before hand. a majority of it is planned out in my head, as far as plot points go. from there i really just... make it up from page to page! i rarely thumbnail the comic and don’t have a script, so i just open the psd file and start a new page then and there. as of right now my process is to make the panels first while imagining in my head what i want to do for that specific page, then sketching it out, and then lining and shading!

my method isn’t the best, and there’s a lot of better advice to be given out there. i’ve got a post on my oc blog with more details and links here, if you’d like to read it!
