your baskin robbins trip with your sister had me curious about something: favorite ice cream flavor? I love many types of ice cream! but my all time go-to is either plain vanilla soft serve or vanilla chocolate chip with chocolate sauce 😋

at baskin-robbins, my favorite flavor is "mom's making cookies". they don't have it all the time but it's so damn good! if they don't have that then i get chocolate chip cookie dough. similar flavors i know, but there's subtle differences.

when i go to dairy queen, i go for a vanilla blizzard with hot fudge and peanut butter cups

and when i go to menchie's (yes that's fro yo and technically not ice cream but shhhhh) i make a s'mores yogurt! i get chocolate/vanilla swirl yogurt with graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, hot fudge, hard chocolate shell, and marshmallow fluff!!

To Scoop or Not to Scoop - Q/Alec Trevelyan

Generally, when one is involved with a double-oh, one could reasonably expect not only gunshot wounds, perfectly pressed suits and a tendency to improvise when missions are concerned, but also steely nerves and readiness to do what needs to be done.

Clearly, no one has shared the news with one Alec Trevelyan, designation 006, and one half of the infamous Chaos Twins, as he and Bond are so affectionately dubbed by the entirety of Six.

Exhibit A: Litterbox duty.

“Honestly, Alec,” Q says, exasperated. “I’ve seen you dig a bullet out of your own stomach with your bare hands, and stitch your wounds without anesthetic more times than I can count. Hell, I’ve literally guided you through the sewer systems of both Berlin and Paris, and yet you can’t do this?”

Alec gives him a wounded look. “It’s not the same!”

“The same as scooping out a litter box? No, it’s much easier!” Q says and tries to give him the litter scoop.

Alec looks like he just might vomit, complete with gagging noises and both hands covering his mouth. Silver, Q’s longhaired and bushy tailed Maine Coon, looks less than impressed, sitting next to his litter box. He’s also giving Q a look that clearly says ‘of all the double-ohs you could choose from, why choose this one?’ And honestly, Q sometimes wonders the same.

“Oh for heaven's sake,” Q mutters and bends down to do it himself.

If Alec wants sex tonight, however, he better think of a damn good reason why Q should bother. Because according to his logic, it’s not the same as sleeping together at all.

She joined the lancer's guild in Gridania simply because she knew how to wield a lance and didn't find magical study particularly easy. Of course, she stumbled into being a hero the way anyone does -- screaming, cussing and wanting desperately to go back to a bar and drink. Now, Meli is resigned to being the Warrior of Light and does her duty, but she has a lot of healing to do over what she's lost and learned. In her free time, she likes to race chocobos (casually, not professionally) and hike.

I've done it, I lose often, especially when I take Urianger on at Triple Triad, but I don't do it … well. Recep: Today, we will be answering questions from you!

Melis: I hope you will enjoy it

Recep: I hope! We’ll see!

Q: How do you turn down someone’s invitation to meet without offending them?

Recep: I have a very classic answer for this. *turns to Melis* come on, you go first! I think everyone does this.

Melis: I think it’s the same answer

Recep: I have a set.

Melis: I have a set. Because I can’t say “I don't want to meet you” I don't think anyone would say that to anyone.

Recep: by the way, you said “I have filming” yes that’s what I also say

Melis: Here's another thing. Even if we don't have a set, sometimes we are so tired and I don't think it's something others can understand.

Q: Are you someone who jumps on the dance floor as soon as the music starts playing at weddings, or someone who tries to refuse when people insist and ask you to come up?

Melis: Just recently, I saw a video on my feed of someone I love very much dancing (she’s talking about the video of Recep dancing at his brother’s wedding I think). *turned to Recep* He looked like you.

Recep: Okay, okay, maybe but I knew you would mention that. If someone insisted then yes but I am not someone who usually dances at weddings but I do my best, however, I think it looks bad. Do you think it looked good in the video (him dancing)?

Melis: I think it was very good

Recep: Okay, then, thank you but of course I would get up if someone insisted.

Melis: I mean, who is at that wedding? You know, if it's a family wedding, I wouldn’t get up and dance like that, but if it's a wedding with my friends, then I don't think anyone would sit still.

Q: Can Recep say some of Aybike’s lines and Melis some of Berk’s lines? We love you very much.

Recep: there was a line, Berk asked something and then he didn’t expect the answer and he said “What? Did you just say yes?” *I think he’s talking about when he asked Aybike to meet in the evening when they were separated*

Melis: Something came to my mind just now, “I don’t like these things”

Recep: Yes that’s your line, right?

Melis: my dear crazy girlfriend

Recep: Ah yes “my dear crazy girlfriend”, “my crazy wild girlfriend”

Melis: those are our classic lines

Q: Have you ever given spoilers to family or close friends?

Recep: I don’t like spoilers at all. That’s my principle in my job. Because I don't want to say anything to anyone, and it will spark curiosity. Don’t worry, curiosity is good.

Melis: Should I be honest now, or professional?

Recep: I am very honest. *turns to Melis* What do you mean “honest”? Am I a liar ??

Melis: I do give spoilers. When my mom asks for example”what’s going on with the kids…etc” I tell her “No that person didn’ die, that person will be out of the hospital tomorrow.”, they already know anyway.

Q: You spend a lot of time together. Are there any words, sentences or habits that you took from each other? Can you give examples where you can say that this habit of mine became like melis/recep over time?

Recep: I can guess the examples you will give about me. Melis is a person who makes a move that you never expected for example. It's so funny that I'm shocked because I see it when I least expect it, so she looks neutral like she's not doing anything funny at all which makes me laugh more. I don't want to overly decipher this so you'll see them over time, I'll share a few maybe.

Melis: I learned a lot of words from you,

Recep: Yes, you learned a lot of words

Melis: I don't want to say those words right now, but it's not because they are cuss words.

Recep: No they aren’t cuss words

Melis: “there is a rudder”

*The word rudder is used for steering wheels in a ship or aircraft but in Turkey it’s also being used in a figurative sense. Metaphorically, this word describes a behavior intended to deceive the other party. Steering means cheating.*

Melis said something else “Kayinti var” but I don’t think it means what it means. Melis asked Recep:”Did I say something bad ” and Recep said:”No, no, you didn’t, it’s just some street slangs, I use them because they are funny”

Q: Do you think there is such thing as “luck” and are you a lucky person? I would be very happy if you could give an example.

Recep: Let me answer it this way: In my opinion, there is no such thing as a “lucky person” and I don’t think that I am lucky. Because, I think, everyone creates their own luck. I believe in this, and because I believe in it, I hope to be one of those people who can create their own luck/fortune. So am I lucky? I'm not. I'm not right now but I can be soon.

Melis: what are you going through? I don’t understand.

Melis: I think that people create their own luck/fortune, but I also believe that I am a lucky person. Sometimes, things get easier when they could get harder. Did I explain it well? I don't know if it's me or if I don't see those things as problems anymore, but I still feel lucky. I also agree with the idea of creating my own luck/fortune.

Q: Have you ever had a dream then woke up in the morning thinking “that was a ridiculous dream”

Melis: *describing her dream* [I dreamt that] One day, I was eaten by a crow. I was eaten by a crow three times my size. I woke up like this *arms crossed*. It sounded ridiculous when I told everyone but it had such an effect on me that I woke up with shivers. It was ridiculous.

Recep: I hope it was a good omen. Let’s say it was a good thing. I have seen a lot of nonsense. When I was a kid, I used to see this dream which I will never forget its effect on me. I'm in something like this *gestures with his hands*. I'm inside cubes. There are balls like big billiard balls but they are huge and I am surrounded by them. Those balls come at me, they pressure me, and they keep on squeezing me. I've seen this dream for a long time. So I haven’t forgotten those balls.

Melis: You’ve seen this for a long time??

Recep: I've seen it for a long time. I thought Iit was a very silly dream, but I kept on seeing it. I was very shocked by it.

Q: Have you ever wondered how you looked while crying and saw yourself in front of the mirror?

Melis: I did that once.

Recep: Not while crying but I’ve looked at myself after crying, thinking: “I cried a lot. How do I look? Are my eyes bleeding? ”

Melis: By the way when I said I did look, I meant after crying

Recep: Please don’t misunderstand Melis.

Melis: I don't cry and watch myself in the mirror.

Q: You said you were often allowed to improvise. So, in which scene did you improvise the most together?

Recep: So we do not  improvise against the purpose of the scene (meaning sometimes a scene does not require improvising). There are no scenes where we improvise like crazy but I think we do improvise in every scene.

Melis: Or when the director doesn’t yell “cut”. He will give us some time at the end of the scene and that’s when we do something like that (improvising).

Recep: Exactly, exactly. Usually, yes. We always try to improvise at the end of the scene.

Q: Have you ever broken a pot when you didn’t hang up the phone properly?

*To break the pot: idk if this slang exists in the English language but apparently in Turkish it means “to make a stupid or careless mistake; act or speak clumsily.”*

Melis: No, thank god.

Recep: I think that's one of the things I'm worried about.

Melis: You wouldn't do something extremely careless anyway.

Recep: That's what I do in group chats. I have a lot of group chats. Sometimes, I send a message to the wrong group chat. I even did this in our group chat.

Melis: Really?

Recep: You don’t remember?

Melis: I didn’t see it

Recep: I deleted it right away. I deleted it after people told me, so I didn't even notice that I sent a message to the wrong group. It was tripping.

Q: Does this happen to you too: All of a sudden, you get up and go to a room for something, but then you forget why you went there.

Recep: Of course. For example, it happened to me this morning before I came here.

Melis: Really?

Recep: It really happened before I got here. I went to a room. What was I going to get? What I was looking for was in there. My keys or something were in the living room, I think, on the nightstand. I thought to myself “why did I come here?” I waited and I waited then I went back. I sobered up when I saw the keys.

Melis: By the way, you do have moments of forgetfulness from time to time.

Recep: Yes, I do. It happens to you too, no?

Melis: Yes this happens to me too

Recep: I think it happens to everyone because my brain is focused on a lot of things sometimes and it just turns off.

Melis: Of course, you don’t choose to forget. You don’t want to do that.

Recep: Exactly, you don’t want to. There is selective perception, but there is no desire to choose.

Q: Have you ever been a trending topic? If yes, why were you trending most recently?

Recep: Yes we were, thanks to everyone.

Melis: Our show airs every week so of course everything is up to date. That's why we really thank you all for your support.

Q: Would you rather have more time or more money?

Recep: When you have the time, you can earn money anywhere, in any way, under any circumstances.

Melis: I agree. Also, time is precious. We talked about this earlier.

Recep: Exactly

Melis: I think it’s so precious. I've only started to realize its value recently.

Q: Is there a song that makes you think “this song always reminds me of someone”?

Melis: I have many. Every song is like this... There are many songs like this. I always did something like this with a memory or a person, and I've made it overlap with a song.

Recep: It happens but for me songs remind me of beautiful dreams; my dreams, rather than people. Songs describe my dreams and remind me of them rather than a person. That's why I like them. That's why I don’t have many songs that remind me of people.

Q: Do you use nicknames when calling each other? Do you have nicknames? (Rejovski, Melissimo)

Recep: That's all, really.

Melis: Yes, also Reco. Melo, Reco.

Recep: Yes, for me, it’s Melo, Melissimo.

Q: Blink if you’re in love

Q: Do you have an eventful story about returning something you bought? Or story with a parcel

Melis: No, but I hate the delivery thing.

Recep: It’s very annoying. I don’t want to name any delivery service here but it really can't be like that. They can make people angry sometimes. The delivery guy is on the way and he’s looking for you. I’ve experienced this recently.

Melis: What did he do?

Recep: He called me, like he was my friend:”I am just letting you know, if you’re home, I am coming”. If no one answers the door then he will think “okay he’s not home” and he will just go.

Q: What is the latest photo you posted on Instagram story?

Recep: In my latest story post I was at the office. I was drinking coffee. Thanks to my dear Süleyman, he took the picture. That's what I posted as my instagram story. I was in the office drinking coffee and my picture was taken. 

Melis: I understand that you have written an answer to this question.

Recep: From now on I will answer every question. I will give the last question to Melis Minkari, but we have not heard your answer yet. Wait, we didn't get an answer for you.

Melis: Ah okay wait. We were filming the ATV scene. Berk was doing something bad *points at Recep*

Recep: It was such a nice day

Melis: It was very nice. It was beautiful. That location was the best location I've ever filmed in.

Q: Who was the celebrity you fell in love with as a kid?

Recep: Do you want to go first? Do you have a clear answer? I don’t have a clear answer for this question.

Melis: Can you go first? I will give you my answer later

Recep: When I was a kid, I was in love platonically. I had the potential to fall in love platonically with anyone and every woman, and I did. Only God knows how many times I’ve fallen in love. It happened a lot. Not with celebrities but a lot of normal people. Maybe there was a celebrity if I counted everyone.

Melis: Did I tell you about this before?

Recep: No

Melis: I was a fan of Justin Bieber. I am revealing this for the first time in my life right now. 

Recep:

Melis: It was a short period of one year. I was a teenager. I loved him very much.

Recep: and??

Melis: It was good, but it's over. This was my secret for a while, I wasn’t sure if I was going to talk about it.

Recep: and then?

Melis: Then, of course, I grew up and those feelings are gone.

Melis: No, he had his hair up

Recep: How? I remember that when I was a kid, his hair was like this *down* and I also had my hair like that.

1 - how old were you when you found out you were autistic?

technically, 5. i was officially diagnosed with sensory processing disorder when i was 5 - which was still called sensory integration disorder at the time. but as i got older, much more symptoms started showing up outside of sensory stuff, such as stimming, hyperfixations, photographic memory, and food aversions. i started suspecting i was autistic when i was 15-16, but my parents dismissed it because i didn't "look" autistic. by the time i was 18 or 19 i was watching and reading a lot of things online about autism and i had never felt more seen. my parents have learned a lot more since then and now accept me as autistic.

7 - do you find it hard to make friends?

oh DEFINITELY. i have people that i talk to at college but i am awful at starting conversations or maintaining friendships. as far as friends i regularly hang out with go, i've had the same 2 friends since the mid-2010s.

10 - what are your most common stims?

at the moment i'm fidgeting with half of a pop-it ball - one that was badly glued together in manufacturing and was ripped apart by me fidgeting with it so much. there are holes in the two halves as well because of how much i poke them in and out. so that's a common stim for me. i also have a regular pop-it that's not a ball, a metal slinky and aaron's thinking putty. i rarely sit at my desk without fidgeting with something.

i also hum a lot and rock around in my seat.

16 - do you have any autistic friends?

i have neurodivergent IRL friends, but they aren't autistic. i do have autistic internet friends though! if y'all are reading this i love y'all <3

18 - do you find it easier to get along with other autistic people?

yes, 100%. i can talk about the stuff i go through and the things i feel and they understand most of the time.
