THE ART OF THE SLAY | (BLOG) •••••••••••••••••••••••• So yesterday I had the pleasure of attending “The Art of the Slay” Master Class + Vision Board Party hosted by @demilobo . ••••••••••••••••••••••••• I had such an AMAZING time & met some truly AMAZING people. •••••••••••••••••••••••• The women on the panel “SLAY SQUAD” @therealpaigion @itsbiancabee @allaccessjas @itsbryhana were so gracious & willing to share their knowledge of the industry with us. •••••••••••••••••••••••• It just felt sooo good to be in a room full of like minded women who genuinely wanted to see everyone win, who talked about the goodness of God & having something that centers you 🙌🏾, as well as the importance of sticking together as women. ••••••••••••••••••••••••• It’s so important to sew into one another. I would not be where I am if it wasn’t for other people, especially WOMEN (BLACK WOMEN) looking out for me. I got my first tv internship with @fox26houston b/c of a young lady @trisdee_ telling me to apply. I found out about the “The Art of the Slay” & met some incredible women b/c of a young lady @madam_mozell who I met through another young lady @themillennialmuva (@blackgirlswhocollaborate ). ••••••••••••••••••••••••• No on becomes successful alone. Since everyone is reminiscing on 2017 & looking forward to the new year, here’s mine: •••••••••••••••••••••••••• 2017 Highlights ❤️Started my beauty business 🙌🏾🤑 ❤️Purchased my first car 🚗 ❤️Relocated to Sacramento ❤️Married my best friend in Vegas!!! 👰🏾🙌🏾🤵🏾 ❤️Got my CA cosmo license 💇🏾‍♀️💅🏾💄 ❤️Relocated to Los Angeles 😎🎧 ❤️Started DJ/Production school 😍 ❤️Started doing hair professionally (Met a lot of cool people, tried a lot of cool things, created amazing memories & learned a lot of great lessons) •••••••••••••••••••••••••• 2018 Goals ❤️Take Mello Knows Beauty & Grooming to the next level ❤️Become a FT DJ/Producer & get paid to travel the world ❤️Build my brand & online following ❤️Launch my other businesses ❤️Spend more time with family & friends ❤️Build financial freedom ❤️& couple more that I’ll keep between me & God 🙏🏾 •••••••••••••••••••••••••• I can’t wait to look back at the end of next year to see what all I accomplished & experienced.
