the thing about the bay is that various cities will have their restaurant weeks overlap so really it's restaurant month and my budget can only be tempted so many times
#had this curry ramen with a whole fried crab on it!! it was a frozen crab but still!! i spent SO long picking all the meat out and getting#curry all over my fingers but still!!! also it was an excuse to visit oakland chinatown for the first time in forever and i hit up the#frozen foods shop for a pack of 糯米雞 and made eyes at the frozen dumplings til my mom said she'd bring me a gallon bag of them next week#menugazing

my throat is really feeling all those rotisserie drippings that the half chicken was sitting in and that the side potatoes were doused in...
#look a lot of that half chicken or well quarter chicken since i split with my friend was breast meat (bleh) which i shredded and liberally#coated with drippings and yogurt sauce. also damn i was NOT sure about that egg lemon soup but it started to get really good halfway throug#when my tastebuds acclimated and also! my first time tasting thyme in the wild now that i know what it tastes like!!#menugazing#sor.txt
