Hello!! I would like to request a Linzin fic, when tenzin broke up with lin ofc she is mad but then suddenly starts bleeding, thats when they realize she has been pregnant but it was just a cryptic pregnancyy and her losing her period weren't her going into menopause.
The story basically is just Tenzin trying to get her forgiveness, and lin being "Would you be here knealing if I wasn't pregnant?" I want it to hurt ok🥰
Hello! Here is my attempt at a painful cryptic pregnancy Linzin. I hope this is what you were looking for.
It was that damned healer. That waterbending, icy bitch of a woman- who told her that she was done for couldn't have been more wrong. Lin should've gone to Katara. Spirits, she should have seen Kya instead.
Because now there she was, dismembered in a way she never thought her crime-fighting days could land her. Thankfully, every part of her body was still intact. What she was losing now was nothing she was born with.
The bathroom floor was bright red. Her vision kept shifting from black to red and back.
She only allowed herself to give in to the darkness when she felt the door to her house fling open from under her feet. Someone had entered her home. Someone was looking for her. Someone was going to find her. Someone was going to save both of them.
For the first time, Lin felt pain in her body like never before. This hurt far more than breaking a rib or getting stabbed in the thigh. Her emotions were unfathomable. To think she felt grief for something she never knew she had.
Her entire life would've been upside down had she known this whole time.
"What? A cryptic pregnancy...,"
"Will she be- will they both be—"
"Lin didn't know! She couldn't have known!"
"If you would please just let me see her..."
Lin was in an out of consciousness for what felt like days. Really, it had only been a few hours but it felt like a whole lifetime went by. She couldn't work out whose voices they were. It all felt like she had voices inside her head.
Sleep took over once again. This time it was quiet, dark and numb, like in a vacuum.
The first thing Lin realized was that she could feel her eyelids on her eyes. Her hand twitched, reminding herself that her body was whole. She was still very much there. Her toes wiggled in response. Slowly her fingers contracted, and she forced her eyes open.
She saw more red. This time accompanied with yellow.
What was he doing here? Who let him in? Don't people know better? She didn't destroy Air Temple Island for nothing after all, did she? Some destruction her meltdown had caused. That was the only time she lost control of her bending. Her emotions were volcanic- they had consumed her being, soul and body, and exploded all over the Island.
How was Tenzin both the only and the last person she wanted to see?
“Lin!” He cried, almost to himself.
Lin stirred slowly. She suddenly remembered why her body wasn’t moving earlier. Everything hurt.
“Hey, hey slow down,”
He had leapt off his seat to stand beside her, one hand on her shoulder to stay her movements.
“What are you doing here?” She asked through gritted teeth, pushing all the pain to the back of her mind.
“We almost lost you. I couldn’t—”
“As far as you’re concerned, consider me lost.”
“Lin, she’s alive,” he whispered over her. His shaky hands captured her palm and brought it up to kiss her knuckles.
Lin lost her voice too. There was a lump in her throat now. There was no admission needed, a wave of acceptance came over her.
Motherhood.
Tenzin’s kisses were wet on her hand. When her eyes shifted to him, she saw tears rolling down his face.
“Where- where is—” she managed to croak out.
“In the other room,” he replied, gesturing to the left. “The chief healer is there, caring for both of you. The baby is healthy and happy. And she looks just like you. Just as beautiful. She’s got jet black hair and your eyes and-and—”
“Tenzin, stop.”
The airbender gaped at her.
“You don’t get to be a part of this. You don’t get to just walk in here and take what you want. That’s my child.”
“That’s our child.”
“There is no our because there is no us, Tenzin. That’s my child and—”
“And that’s also my child.”
“How do you know she’s yours?”
He was spellbound. The most joyous moment of his life had reduced to a pit in his stomach. But he knew better. She was saying that just to hurt him. When he peered into that child's eyes, he knew she was his.
“Lin, come on. Please don’t say that.”
But she continued to glare daggers at him.
Just then, hearing the voices, the very chief healer entered the room. She was an old woman, one of the few who were trained by Katara personally. Where was she when she stopped bleeding all those months go? “Oh, look. Mom is awake.”
Lin offered her a weak smile.
“Your little girl is a fighter,” she said, walking over to Lin's bed. “She's a stubborn one- the girl was determined to live.”
Lin audibly masked a sniffle, but Tenzin caught it.
“She gets that from her mother,” he said with a smile.
“Oh, we’re well aware. Captain Beifong, you fought through too. Valiantly, so. If it were up to me, this ordeal alone should make you Chief.”
“Can I see my baby?” Lin asked.
The woman nodded happily, pushing Lin's hair behind her ear affectionately before stepping out of the room.
They swiftly turned to look at each other. “I’m sorry, Lin. I’m so sorry.”
Lin bit back tears by biting her cheek.
“You don’t- you don’t get to…” she whispered, shaking her head in denial.
“We can work this out. We never should’ve ended things.”
“You’re not even in love with me…” Her voice was hoarse.
“Lin, I’m crazy about you. You and only you. And now that mini-you you just brought into this world.”
“What about your soulmate?”
Tenzin slapped his forehead. “The acolyte? She’s so far driven from reality, she wouldn’t know a soul from a chair.”
Lin almost let herself chuckle with relief. But she didn't. She couldn't just laugh off the thing that Tenzin allowed to weaponize against their relationship.
“No,” she said. “No, you can’t- I’m vulnerable right now. You can’t snake your way back into my life. If it wasn’t for my pregnancy- if it wasn’t for nearly losing your child, you wouldn’t have even been here. You would be with your soulless chair mate on your cold, lifeless Island. You’re dead to me, Tenzin.”
“Lin, of course, I would. I would always be there for you. Please—”
“You value your legacy far more than you’ve ever loved me. I kept putting your first and you kept making me fight for footnotes in your life.”
“That is not true!”
“Oh, but it is!”
“Lin, I have always been in love with you. I can't remember a time in my life when I haven't loved you, truly.”
“Then why would you leave me for her? Why when I had just found out that I couldn't bear you the airbenders you so wanted. The unborn children you put before me, a whole person you claim to be so in love with.”
“I was wrong. I was so very wrong," he cried, head in his hands. "I didn't know you couldn't have children. You pushed me into Pema's arms—”
“Don't you utter her name!”
Tenzin sighed. “You told me to be with her. That she would give me my airbenders. I only did that to free you from my burdens. You didn't deserve to—”
The door creaked open again, the same healer returning with their child in her arms. The two of them fell silent immediately.
“Here, Lin. Do you want to hold her?” The healer asked.
Lin’s sniffle was enough of a response.
As she cradled her arms- as best as she knew anyway- the healer slowly placed the baby in her mother's embrace. She was so little- so much smaller than Lin imagined. She could no longer hold back her tears.
She felt Tenzin’s hand on her shoulder.
“She’s perfect,” he whispered.
“She is,” Lin replied, feeling placated like never before. She eased up. Her mind was no longer clouded- clarity had taken over. “I can’t believe we created that.”
“I can,” he replied, kissing her head.
“Don’t make me ask you to leave,” she said, curtly.
“I’m never leaving, Lin.”
She huffed, side eyeing him as she prepared herself for what she was about to say. She felt certain about her decision.
“You’re leaving, Tenzin. I will allow you to be a part of my daughter’s life so long as you vow to stay out of mine.”
Tenzin watched her, heart beating faster in his chest, as she glared at him with storms in her eyes. He didn’t have the words to respond.
“You stay on your Island and I stay in my city. We only have our exchanges on the ferry. I will not step foot onto Air Temple Island and if you so much as even breathe Republic City’s air, I will arrest you and have you sent to the Dai Li’s prison in Ba Sing Se.”
“Lin, that can’t be sustainable—”
“I don’t care what you think.”
Lin pressed her baby into her bosom. Nothing mattered anymore. Her entire life would be dedicated to protecting this baby.
Tenzin would do the same, she trusted him that much. He would be a good father to her. She would have to find a way to be okay with that acolyte being a part of her daughter's life. But perhaps, that would happen with time.
“I love you. And I respect your wishes. But can you grant me just this one thing?”
“What is it?”
“Can we have one moment? Just a single moment where we, as her parents, hold her together with love. If I am to leave you alone, I just need a glimpse of what might’ve been to keep me going.”
Lin sighed.
“Let’s- let’s name her,” he suggested, realizing that he was babbling. “Together. Right now. That’s all.”
“Sure,” she gave out a low huff of defeat.
Lin shifted on the bed as Tenzin took a seat beside her. He placed one hand under Lin’s, supporting their daughter’s head while his other arm ran around her waist. He squeezed her into his embrace and as much as she wanted to fight it, she gave in and rested her head against his chest. It felt right. As if the entire universe conspired to allow her just this one moment. Even if it wasn't made to last.
“How do you like the name Dalha?”
Lin scrunched her nose in disgust. She kissed her daughter’s head, making her coo in a way that made Lin’s heart flutter.
“What about Meng?”
“No,” Lin replied with a gasp. A yawn escaped her mouth urging Tenzin to pull her tighter.
“Jin?”
Lin gave her baby a cheeky a smile and said, “Don’t worry, kid. I won’t let your daddy name you anything as unsavory like that.”
“Well, daddy is trying. Mommy hasn’t made a single contribution.”
Lin huffed. “How about Lila?”
“I love that name. Lila Beifong. We could call her Lili too!” Tenzin glanced over at Lin only to find her looking straight at him. There was a softness in her eyes. He cupped her face with one hand and drew her in. His lips slowly met hers. It had been far too long since he had kissed her. Lin melted against his touch- she was exhausted. She just needed to be held, to feel loved- if only for a moment.
Tenzin continued kissing her, smiling, making the most of the moment with the mother of his child- the only woman he wanted to kiss for the rest of his life.
When they pulled apart, Lin passed Lila on to Tenzin to hold. He delicately held her as Lin wiped her dried up tears with her palms.
“Say your goodbyes.”
Tenzin bit his bottom lip. “Thanks.” He admired his daughter, he couldn’t help but smile. A joy so unfathomable, he couldn't wrap his head around the grief that was yet to set in. “I love you so much,” he whispered to Lila. “You’re my world, Lili. You and your mother, you're my earth, my air, my everything.” He kissed the top of Lila's head before handing her back to Lin.
He stood up, and knowing she wouldn’t stop him, he planted a kiss on Lin’s forehead one last time. “I love you. And I always will.”
“I'll be sure to thank Saikhan for letting you know of my whereabouts. If it weren't for him, you never would've found us."
"Lin, I would've found you with or without my intel. Who, by the way, wasn't Saikhan."
"Who was it then?" she asked.
Tenzin chanced another kiss to her cheek and replied. "I'll save that story for the ferry when I pick Lila up next week."
“Fine,” she said softly, but there was a hint of a smile in her voice.
Tenzin beamed, making his way over to the door. “I’m going to win you back, Beifong. Just you wait. I look forward to those thirty minutes on Yue Bay.”
Before Lin could conjure up the metal tray beside her into mini spheres to throw in his direction, the airbender was gone.

Hiiiiii please bless us with some Linumi getting caught by the worst person imaginable to catch them. Your choice who that is and where.
HAHAHA as if I haven't done this very trope like a million times: its a bottomless pit.
Bumi did not understand nonchalance. He could jump off cliffs well before he ever got airbending but the man was incapable of anything remotely understated.
So when his very new romantic interest was innocently sampling the buffet laid out, he couldn't help but saunter over to her.
"I want you," he whispered as soon as his mouth an inch away from her face.
Lin steeled her expression. "Talking to the fruit pies again?"
Bumi chortled softly. "These fruit pies can't satiate me the way you do, you know?"
The metalbender shook her head. "Have you forgotten where we are?"
Bumi took that as an opportunity to be exceptionally corny- as if that would seal the deal- and grinned hard. "When you're in front of me, I don't remember anything else."
But Chief Beifong rolled her eyes. "Air Temple Island is hardly the place to get caught, Bumi! Pull it together."
"Oh, so you do want to get caught somewhere. Just not here then?”
“Bumi, please! You shouldn’t even be talking to me over here. I don’t want anyone suspecting a thing—”
The ex-commander cut her off with a big smooch on her cheek. Lin actually reeled back. Thankfully, no one made note of them.
“Veranda. Now!” She scolded.
But Bumi smiled and murmured to himself. “Now we’re getting somewhere.”
In the veranda, Lin grasped at the metallic railing, using all her power to not let her frustration bend the metal into a stick to beat him with. When she heard him close the door behind them, she spoke through gritted teeth. “Bumi, I warned you. If you can’t keep it together then we’re ending this.”
“When did you become so boring?”
“News flash- I was never the most interesting person to begin with. Your brother was my favorite person for a long time, remember?”
Bumi scoffed. “Sure. You like boring things and people but to me you’ve been the most fascinating person to enter a room.”
Lin sighed at his triteness.
“I mean it,” he went on. He chanced a few steps close to her and rested his knuckle under her chin. “You’ve always been this big enigma to me and now to finally understand you- to know you is to love you—”
“Oh come on,” she said, shaking herself free.
“I like rooms when you’re in them, Lin. I’m simple. And if I see you in the distance, and I want to kiss you, I’m going to come over and let you know that I want to kiss you.”
“You did not say kiss—”
But Bumi leaned down and planted one on her lips anyways. Against her mouth he said, “And you said you’d rather get caught elsewhere.”
“Shut up,” she said with a smile.
But just then, the door behind them flung open and out popped Pema. She audibly gasped at the sight before her- Chief Beifong locking lips with her brother in law. She couldn’t understand what it was about this woman that had these men so struck.
Lin immediately pulled away and turned to her side to meet Pema’s widened gaze. Green hit green like a rock, it may as well be red.
Without breaking eye contact, Pema’s mouth opened despite her.
“TENZIN! Get here now!”

💗🤍 Sad Linzin head cannons ?
Sad Linzin headcanons:
Tenzin is haunted in his sleep. After spending years meditating over it, Tenzin realizes that he is repenting after hurting Lin the way he did- that it is his karma to wake up everyday craving Lin's presence just to be punished by seeing Pema. In his sleep- whether it's his dreams or unconscious mind, he forgets that the breakup ever happened- he is convinced that he's with Lin and that it's her sleeping beside him only to wake up, shocked and confused, every morning year after year, in retribution.
Lin still uses Tenzin as her moral compass. Whenever she's faced with a difficult situation, she likes to imagine what Tenzin would advice her in that situation and makes sure to incorporate "his opinion" when making a decision. Of course, there were times she wanted to completely mute her mind from playing Tenzin's voice and do the exact opposite of what that voice told her. Those were dark times. But now, she has come to learn to accept it with grace.
Tenzin allows himself to kiss Lin on the cheek not more than once a week. He plays it off nonchalantly, as if it means nothing- it's a simple greeting but in reality, that kiss is a very calculated, well thought out indulgence.
Tenzin can't stand to be alone in a room with Lin for more than a few moments. His body would not be able to handle the weight of the unsaid words between them.
Lin never kisses his cheek back. She only accepts it- once a week. She thinks it's routine and if he were to break that routine by kissing her any more than once, she'd cut him out for it. But if he ever stopped, she'd never think about the joy that trivial gesture brought her.
Their hugs always last a little longer but not long enough for either of their muscles to retaliate and break free of the carefully controlled relationship they share.
I think that's all the sad Linzin I can do :(

For the 5 word sentence prompts: number 2 with Linzin
Ps: love ur works
Aww thank you so much!💚
I hope you like this! It isn't exactly
But it's also not not this.
Idk- you decide.
Lin stared thoughtfully at the board in front of her. This late night game of pai sho was beginning to prove futile. It wasn't as if she had a sleep schedule- sleep was the only thing in her life she didn't schedule- and she wasn't unhappy with how perfectly pai sho was complementing her insomnia. It was more so her reservations with whom she was playing against.
The tinkering sound of the wind chimes in her balcony had disturbed the Chief of Police's rest. She put aside her book and stepped into the living room, arms raised out in defense despite the disarming flow of her silky nightgown- an uncanny juxtaposition for Lin Beifong.
"What are you doing here?" she had asked, dropping her arms to her side.
Tenzin slid the balcony door open and stepped into the living room, blowing the curtains around with the gust of wind he carried and smiled.
Lin studied the board, strategizing her next few moves while trying to anticipate Tenzin's. He seemed off his game- he was taking awfully long to come up with the simplest of moves- it was right in front of him- there was nothing to think about- and then Lin looked up and caught him staring straight at her.
"What?"
"What-what?"
"Just say it. You didn't really come here to play pai sho," she shot.
Tenzin sighed. "I’m struggling."
Lin scoffed and stifled the mean smile she felt spreading across her face. "I can see that," she said, gesturing with her eyes at the board.
Tenzin gave her a look.
Lin bit her lip and asked in tone mocking tenderness. "What might you be struggling with?"
"Do you have to be like this?"
"Like what?"
"Soo... errr abrasive?" He said.
To that, Lin smirked. "No, I don't have to. I just prefer being this way."
Tenzin shifted forward and clasped his hands together. "Lin, obviously I didn't come here to play pai sho. I just need some…"
"Some, what?" she deadpanned.
Tenzin groaned. "You’re being so- can you be a little warmer? The tiniest more welcoming?"
Lin crossed her legs and sat up straight. "You come to my house unannounced in the middle of the night and then you expect me to coddle you and ask you what in this meritorious life you live is bothering you?"
Tenzin was clearly starting to get frazzled. "Can you just for one moment be what I need—"
"WHO you need is back in your home, Tenzin. If you need Pema you should—" she responded, louder than him.
"I don't need Pema! I don't want Pema. I- I- I don't know. Pema- Pema is- she is not..,"
Lin sighed. She knew when to stop. She knew she had hit a nerve. But at least now she knew what he was really doing here.
Marital problems.
She quietly moved closer to him and placed one hand on his shoulder. She lowered her tone and asked softly, "So, you two are having problems?"
"We've always had problems."
"Well, relationships are complicated. Marriages are hard," she said.
"But..?"
Lin realized she didn't quite have a but ready to go. So she improvised- mustering up the memory of every wise anecdote Aang had passed down to her. "But you have each other. The two of you are more than just husband and wife."
"Yeah, except we aren't. There's no- there's just nothing. We're lifeless tombs of marital duties. There's no passion, or excitement, or- or- we're just pillars to house our family."
"But," she returned, beginning to realize there was no way she could sustain this conversation without alcohol. "Love isn't passionate."
"Shouldn't it be?"
"I wouldn't know," she replied sharply.
"Lin..."
"What?"
"Why are you—"
Lin snapped. "You don't seem to like anything I say. So why do you talk to me? What is your problem with me?"
"YOU! You are my problem with me!"
"What does that even mean?" she shrieked.
Tenzin sighed all his years away in that moment. "You know I love you."
But Lin scoffed. "And where has that gotten me?"
He gaped at her in disbelief. This was the whole problem with Lin. She had this inherent way of rivaling everything- as if she'd perish from her very core if she didn't resist him for once.
"Lin, I'm telling you I love you."
She bit her lip for a moment and just when she looked like she was about to say something, she stood up. Tenzin's eyes followed her behind the kitchen island as she poured herself a drink.
Firewhiskey, if Bumi's stock was anything to go off of.
"Alcohol isn't going solve our problems."
"Your problem," she corrected, as she made her way back to the couch.
"Why do you always have to provoke me? Why does it always have to be a fight?"
His voice was loud, clear, and assertive. Lin always made him so mad. She had to unravel every fiber of his carefully fashioned composure. Lin wouldn't know peace until Tenzin's sanity was completely dismantled.
"You came here, Tenzin. By your own accord. I didn't invite you," she reminded him.
"Can you just be my friend for—"
"Because you were such a good friend to me?!"
"Yes!" he argued. "Tell me where I went wrong? You just didn't want what I needed to have. You knew this. We—"
"We've had this fight too many times," she commented, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"-I had to have kids. My whole life has been one big reflection of—"
Lin stood up, not quite stopping him in his tracks. She made her way back to kitchen to pour more firewhiskey into her glass. He hadn't realized when she finished the first one.
When she sat back on the couch, a touch closer to him, her demeanor had changed. Her eyes had softened, that rage had partially dissipated. Her brows relaxed, and when she spoke, she sounded tame, almost demure.
"Tenzin, I wanted a family with you a very long time ago. But I didn't want to repopulate the Air Nation. I didn't want to have to raise another miserable set of Kya and Bumi and tell them they're good enough and perfect the way they are- that not being an airbender didn't make them any less valued in our eyes. I didn't want the pressure or the legacy that our supposed happiness would come hogtied to. I wanted you for you and nothing else. It was your choice in the end. You chose Pema- you chose the life you have. "
He sighed. "And where had that gotten me?"
Silence filled the room for a moment that felt like eternity.
"To my apartment in the middle of the night, apparently."
Tenzin forced out a snort and Lin returned it with half the smile she could afford.
"Did we always argue like this?"
"Yes, but that isn't how I remember our relationship."
"How do you remember it?" he ventured.
Lin shook the glass. The ice danced in the eye of the whiskey tornado with a soft clanking sound, and then she downed the whole glass.
"Intense. That's how I remember it. Whatever it was, it was intense."
"Passionate," he offered.
Lin's eyes remained on his as the warm liquor coated her stomach lining.
"Sure," she mumbled into the empty glass.
Tenzin moved a touch closer to her on the couch. He brought his hand close to her face- a risky move- and pushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "I thought love wasn't passionate."
"I never said- don't put words in my mouth! I said I wouldn't know!" she retorted. When she felt his fingers linger on her face, she caught his hand in hers and turned to glare at him. He had the audacity to smile back.
"Tenzin, what are you really doing here?"
"I'm only visiting a friend," he confessed.
Realizing her hand was still clasping his, she dropped it, and Tenzin's eyes followed his limp hand falling to the couch.
"Tenzin," she whispered.
"Even us not being together, talking about nothing is passionate."
"What- why would you say that? What does that mean?"
"I mean," he said, exhaling. "Just tonight- my entire time here playing pai sho with you, talking in circles has still more passion- more life in it than the entire scope of my marriage. I've been through a whole range of emotions just being in your presence. And I can't even blame you. I can't blame myself because I can't help it. The only good that comes from doing chores is finishing them. But how do you finish a marriage? How do I complete that chore?"
"Tenzin, you don't get to put me in this position," she said somberly. Her voice was caught. "Not after everything you've put me through."
Luckily, he obliged. "You're right. I should probably leave."
"You should," she said, as he stood up, collecting his robes around him.
He made his way back over to the balcony and a small part of Lin found amusement in the airbender's aversion for font doors. Just as he opened the door to the balcony, he turned back around to face her. "Do you think I could come back for—"
"I think you should meditate over whatever it is," she retorted, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms in front of her stomach, like she always did.
Tenzin snickered in response. "I meant, for pai sho. I was off my game tonight."
"So you did come all this way for pai sho, after all?" she asked, raising one eyebrow.
Tenzin shook his head.
"Go home to your wife, airhead." Lin said with slight humor in her voice, as she shoved him out the door.
"Have a good rest of your night, Lin."
"You too."
Lin stood there, under the golden glow of the lamp, watching Tenzin gather his bearings on the other side of the glass door as he prepared to take flight. When he turned back around to wave goodbye, Lin gave him an encouraging nod. She watched the sky until the flying man disappeared from her vision and then turned out the light to let the darkness consume her.
"Of course, I love you, Tenzin..."

Any cute or happy head canons for any characters ?
Lin is the first person Opal goes to with things. Whether it's a problem or just something she's excited to share, she goes to Auntie Lin.
Bataar Sr. and Lin become close friends without ever intending to. It's the kinda friendship where it just sorta hits them like wait, I trust this person with a lotta things.
Korra finally succeeds in forcing a kind of friendship with Lin. The lore she learns is truly bewildering.
Asami and Mako sorta compete for being Lin's number two. She finds their competitiveness funny and mentors them both to the best of her ability.
Tenzin's kids love Lin- they won't admit it, but they really wonder how their father ever fumbled Lin.

-opens the door-
I love your stories so much, when I want some serotonin I come straight to your profile.
That said, I saw your comment asking for ideas (I think that's what it was, my understanding of English is bad) But I would pay (with drawings) for something by Linzolt, anything, school setting or complicated adults relating
And so 👉🏾👈🏾✨
Hello, yes welcome to my house. That is so sweet of you to say🫶🏼 this made my heart melt so I’m just going to give you some fluff. Deal with it🤷🏻♀️
Shrugging off her coat as soon as she entered her home, Lin took a big sigh of relief. She hung it over the rack by the door and stepped forward, letting her bending ease her metal boots off her feet.
Winter in Republic City had always been a setting to marvel at. The tourists brought a fresh perspective to the most mundane things, and despite the usual monotonous gloom winter brought, the city felt alive.
Even Lin Beifong found herself smiling in the nesting warmth of her home. Her metal suit slowly slid off of her as she turned towards the living, and the golden gleam of candle lights all across the house colored her vision.
She grabbed her sweater from the back of the couch and threw it on over her white tank top. She followed the aroma and made her way to the kitchen to find his back against her. She leaned against the door frame and admired the sight in front of her. He hadn't realized she was home, so she settled on watching him until he did.
"Are you planning on scaring me or do you just like staring at my ass?" He asked, a short few seconds later.
Lin chuckled slightly and sashayed over to the stove. With Zolt cooking, she was sure to have a lazy evening. "This curry drew me into the kitchen, not you or your ass."
Zolt leaned down to drop a kiss on her shoulder, forcing a little blush to her face. "But you're still having my smartass for dinner."
The strange thing with Lin was that she actually liked this silly domestic double life she was leading. At work, and for the rest of the world, she was Chief Tough-As-Nails Beifong, but at home, this man who seemingly adored every facet of her being called her mushy things like 'baby' and 'Linny'.
"I'll probably save your dumbass for dessert instead. I'm starving," she remarked, letting the warm, aromatic smoke soothe her sinuses.
"Skipped lunch again?"
Lin didn't bother answering, but feigned shame when she nodded in the affirmative.
"Baby," he said, kissing her temple while his eyes remained on the pot. "You know how I feel about that."
Lin curled herself under his arm and nuzzled into his embrace. With one hand on his chest, feeling at his heartbeat, she said, "I was only saving my appetite for dinner. I knew you'd be cooking."
"That's because you have trapped in here," he returned, squeezing her against him before resuming his attention to the stove. "You don't eat properly so I stay stuck in the kitchen, bribing you with tasty food in return for a healthy, well nourished partner."
Leading with her leg, Lin slid into the tiny space between Zolt and the stove and turned his attention to her face. Her head was pushed back, her gray locks only a short distance from dipping into his precious curry and Zolt had to wrap his arms around her back to pull her away. He pressed a kiss at the bottom of her ear and just as gingerly as he kissed her, he moved her away from the stove, kissing and nipping around her neck to bring her against the wooden dining table.
Lin had her arms wrapped around his shoulders and when she felt the edge of the table against her lower back, she pressed down on him to trying to lift herself up.
Abetting her request, Zolt picked her up a touch and placed her on the table. One hand ran under the two layers over her torso as he rubbed some heat into her body. "You don't need this sweater when you're with me."
"Maybe you should take it off for me then," she whispered.
Zolt was not one to argue. He ran both his hands up her waist, cupping her breasts before discarding her tank top and sweater on the floor. His mouth immediately found her neck, biting down until he left a mark. Lin whimpered softly, reeling in the pressure, her legs wrapped tightly around waist. Her body thrust against his, forcing a fiery breath out of his mouth. It almost would have burned if she wasn't so aroused.
He kissed her down her sternum, taking care to give each breast some attention before pushing her back to kiss her belly. Lin knew what was next, so she loosened pants and Zolt had pulled them off instantly.
“What’s that saying you have in the fire nation about eating dessert before your meal?”
Zolt chuckled against her mouth. “No such thing, you can have me whenever you want Chief.”
“Let’s turn that stove off and turn you on then?” She asked, a wicked grin on her face as she brought her hand to his crotch.
“Anything for you, my love.”

I vehemently agree. Please don't send hateful messages to authors that write things that you don't particularly like. It's more than okay to have your own opinions in the likes of ships and headcanons, but others are allowed the same liberties.
Be nicer, you guys! There's enough hate in the world. Shipping and fandoms are just fun hobbies, don't make it so personal, okay? Now go eat that candy you've been eyeing all day and make kinder decisions on the internet. I LOVE YOU.
I always found extremely hypocritical and indicative that in fandoms, lot of the ones who claim that love is love are the ones who disapprove the large age gap het couples, mostly because they want THEIR ship to be the only one existing, like if it was a competition, like if they needed to make people feeling bad for not having the same taste as themselves. Even if it's legal, just because they found excuses like " but it's a too wide age gap", "but one will see the other die too early", "but it's weird" & cie.
As long as both characters have reached the age of sexual consent, it's allowed and it doesn't concern you. If you see a pervert shipping a 12 yo character with a 25 yo one, yeah, you can be concern and report it, you'd be right. But if both are in age, just don't look at it if you don't like it.
And it's the same story when they say that you shouldn't ship two characters if one have a power on the other. It's not because that character has a way to force the other that he'll use it. Of course if the whole fiction/drawing is about a forced relationship/rape you can find it disgusting, but as long as it's not the case and as the two characters respect each other then... Same concept, if you don't like this pairing, don't look at it and leave its fans alone.
I'm just tired of this aggressivity between ships fans, shipping should be a fun and pleasant thing, not receiving angry messages/comments from someone who can't stand that you don't like their ship and think that only their opinion is valuable.

Tell us about the Lin x Amon x Tenzin fic in your drafts please👀
Hahahaha you caught that.
Back when I first joined the fandom- didn't really have a tumblr but I read fics, I came across Lin x Amon and I quite liked it but then I was scared of getting cancelled after I saw the kinda hate that creator got. So I never really got into it. But then a few weeks/months ago, there was some talk about Lin x Amon. And the wheels starting turning.
Here's a small portion from the drabble I had written, just bear in mind it's extremely rough:
A clanging sound tore through the airbender's ears. Amon was coming back again. For some reason, Tenzin's bending was still intact. He didn't spare that mercy for Lin even though she was clearly his favorite prisoner. Tenzin didn't move when he kneeled next to him. He gave Tenzin an inscrutable look when he noticed Lin's mouth was free. Amon bent lower, it looked like he was trying to kiss her mouth, but his mask was thankfully in the way. Lin whimpered, her eyelids twitched a touch before she started pushing air out her mouth in an attempt to speak. "It's the antidote, you know? I'm not trying to make out with your girl." Tenzin tried speaking through the cloth stuffed in his mouth but only wound up sucking some air into his mouth. "I need to keep her sedated. She's very feisty, unlike you." Tenzin grunted.

27. "Kiss me or leave me" for Linumi?
Hi I'm sorry I took so long with this.
Bumi lay sprawled across the floor like butter melting on a skillet. His breathing was hitched, his muscles were tender, and his body was drenched in sweat.
"Linny, you're insane," he said, panting.
"Stand and fight, Commander. I'll show you insane."
Bumi rolled over on his back.
"Ex-commander," he corrected, raising one frail finger in the air to make his point.
Lin walked over the mat and crouched down beside his limp body. Bumi watched her carefully. Lin was a sturdy woman- age marred no bars on her skill. But she was sweating too. Her porcelain skin shone with an iridescent glow, like she was sweating diamonds, and Bumi wondered if it were worth risking his life by caressing her soft cheek.
"Either I'm going to finish you, or you get up and defend your honor," she said.
There was something delicate about the way she said those very harsh words. Or maybe Bumi was just imagining it. All those years spent wondering why Tenzin had always been so hung up on this woman, beaten to floor, Bumi could see the answer clear as day. Spending all those weeks sparring and training with Lin Beifong, he journeyed from a simple infatuation to an admiration bridled with an attraction so strong that now he was done for.
"You can finish me," he replied, exhaling loudly.
"Come on, Bumi," she said, nudging his side.
"Please finish me, Linny. I'm done."
Lin straddled him, knee on either side of his hips and pressed his forearms into the floor. "You're a proud loser, you know that? You shouldn’t give up so easily."
Bumi's eyes widened. He was definitely hallucinating. Because he knew he was being baited into getting up and fighting, but instead he was registering something delicate- something full of flirty concern in her tone.
Knowing Lin though, he knew he was way off.
But when she was on top of him like that, all bets were off. She looked beautiful in a way he had never experienced before. Her eyes sparkled, her hair was a sweaty mess clinging on to her face for dear life.
He was spending all his energy in restraining himself from tipping her over and kissing her with the fervor a woman like her deserved.
“Bumi?”
Shit. He probably had a stupid smile on his face.
Had she been speaking this whole time?
“Yeah?”
“You need to speak up.”
"I did! I'm beat, Lin."
The Chief rolled her eyes. "Clearly, there's a problem. Have I not been training you properly? Or are you not responding to my methods? It's been weeks! You're extremely distracted- you haven't won a single spar- I'm not even sure you're improving since your training with Tenzin." Her voice was really laced with worry this time. Her words spilled like honey and Bumi wanted to taste them. "So, what is it? What's the problem?"
“You, Lin! You’re the problem,” he exclaimed. The desperation in his voice sounded foreign to his own ears.
But she scoffed. “I have done nothing but help—“
“Oh, no. You’re perfect!”
“So then—“
“That’s the problem!”
“Are you having a stroke?”
“No, I’m thinking clear as day. For the first time in weeks. Lin, I think I might be harboring something terrible.”
“Like a parasite?” she asked, unamused.
“Feelings. I’ve been harboring feelings. Romantic, gooey, disgusting feelings for you. Feelings that make me want to forget the whole world just so every crevice of mind and heart can be dedicated to you.”
He felt Lin stiffen ever so slightly. So he swallowed his nerves and continued, "I can't keep training with you- not when I have to restrain myself- I'm an airbender. I need to be free. I can't help myself around you. I can't think. I can't stand. How do you expect me to fight?"
Lin stared at him in shock. She regarded his confession with thought, but words failed her.
"I didn't know you felt that way..."
She shifted off his body and sat by his side, still spellbound.
"I do," he replied, sitting up to meet her gaze. "I haven't felt like this in a long, long time. I didn't even know I was capable of it after all these years."
Lin huffed. "I won't deny it. I felt something too, but your reputation precedes you. I'd be the stupidest woman to get my heart broken by yet another son of the Avatar's."
"I would never-" he said, shaking his head.
"So what are you saying?"
"I'm saying I can't see you anymore. I can't train with you. I can't contain my feelings. I need to- I need some space to think and—"
"You're ridiculous. Are you just saying all this to get out of training? Because—"
"Fuck no, Lin!"
"—it sure sounds like it. You're telling me you have feelings for me and your big solution to that is to get away from me?"
"Yes?" he replied meekly.
"Just- just, ugh," she grunted. "Kiss me or leave me," she said, standing up. "Get out of my sight."
Bumi followed suit and stood taller in front of her. Suddenly, he had regained all his strength. He had a big weight lifted off of him, after all. Just as she turned away, he grabbed her wrist and tugged her towards him. Before she knew it, her lips were greeted by his and she found herself melting into his embrace. His hands held her in place by the waist while her arms ran over shoulders as if that was where they belonged. Her lips were soft, he could taste the coffee, sweat and apprehension in her mouth before he deepened the kiss with his tongue.
A fiery few minutes later, they separated. Their heated passion had dissolved into something more tender. They took their first breaths apart and gathered each others' disheveled appearances. It was Lin who chuckled first, followed by Bumi- giggling as if they shared an inside joke from years ago.
"So, I'll wager," Bumi ventured, "since I kissed you, I can't leave you?"
Lin only smirked before walking away.

Any Linzolt headcanons 👀
Here's a few:
Both Lin and Zolt consider themselves to be living a double life- their relationship is their big secret-other-life. Zolt is Lin's "friend from the bad part of town" and vice versa.
Zolt likes to massage Lin's feet at the end of a long day. It starts off with feet, winds up with her legs until they end up in bed together. Lin knows "massage" is code for something else now, but she makes sure to get a good massage out of it anyway.
Mako is the first person from Lin's life to find out about the two of them. It takes him a looooong time to process their relationship.
Lin has a secret case file wherein she has been working on finding traces of Zolt's family to reunite them. She has been working on this for decades to no avail.
Zolt has had lunch with Kanto once- he had no idea he was Lin's father, and Kanto had no idea he was Lin's boyfriend.
Lin starts bringing Zolt to family reunions and events after the events of this fic and nobody is allowed to freak out.
Zolt buys lacey lingerie for Lin and she thinks it's hilarious how his motors start running when he sees her in them.
Bolin hears Zolt refer to Lin as his best friend (at the time he didn't know who Lin was/that she was a cop) when he's a kid and figures that's the kind of love he wants when he grows up.

7, 31, 40 for the fic writers ask?
7. Your favourite ao3 tag.
This can't be a surprise lol
31. What was the most difficult fic for you to write (but in the end you made it)? Definitely Soul. Not the entire fic, but the middle where I introduced my OC was very tricky. Now that that's out of the way, it's a lot easier- but that isn't to say that I don't struggle with every damn chapter. I look at it chapter by chapter so I get the sense of "I made it!" every time I post.
40. Write a 9-word fic. Lin smiled to herself, a confession on her lips.

🎨link your favourite piece of fanart and explain why you like it Again, I can't pick one but I'll pick one that lives in my head rent free- it's by Mariannewiththesteadyhands whose blog has been deleted🫠
It's this one. I hope they don't mind that I posted this here.
🌵share the link to a playlist you love Unfortunately, I use Youtube music and not spotify, so as much as I wanna share my custom created playlists, I'll refrain from doing so on Tumblr. But let's talk music and Lin sometime👀 Since I couldn't answer the truth, I guess you could give me a dare?

have you ever thought about writing linzin NSFW? pls give us one!!
Hi there!
I have written plenty of NSFW Linzin!
Check out chapters 3, 6, 9 and 11 from here: it's called Something Spicy- just NSFW one-shots for Linzin and Linumi.
Motive is kinda NSFW but a little more angsty.
Aging Swings By is no plot really, just NSFW lol.
And here's a little snippet from NSFW Linzin that I've been working on:
Hope that helps!
Lin was shocked to say the least. She did not expect him to show up looking like that. If he wasn't wearing his air nomad robes, it was that ugly wingsuit. But this was new.
He walked up slowly and stood beside her, aware of all the shocked faces staring at him.
The Chief decided to play it cool, staring straight ahead. "I guess I'm sleeping with a waterbender tonight."
Tenzin had a smug look on his face. Without turning in her direction, he replied, "I'm no waterbender but that doesn't mean you're not going to be dripping wet."
Lin snorted softly, arms crossed in front of her chest. "You look good... in blue."
"I know, I wish I wore these sooner. I wouldn't have had to wait twenty years to sleep with you."
The metalbender dropped her arms to her side and turned. "Come with me," she said, and briskly began walking away.
Clueless, yet optimistic, Tenzin followed after her to the back of the temple, maintaining a respectful distance behind, lest someone were to suspect something.
Through her seismic sense, she was sure everyone was out on the field getting ready for the festivities to follow. So, she turned the first doorknob she saw, and walked inside with urgency. Tenzin quickly entered the room too, and no sooner did he step inside, than Lin used her all her power to shove his entire body against the door to slam it shut as she pulled his face down to her neck.
"We have ten minutes," she whispered as her eyes rolled to back of her skull.
"With you, I just need five."
He swiftly undid the bow holding her hanfu together and and let the her garments pool to the floor around her. For a moment Tenzin had forgotten what to do- the sight of her naked body had left him catatonic.
Lin groaned as she snatched his hand from his side and brought it up to grab her breast. When Tenzin squeezed it softly he came to his senses.
"Five minutes isn't something you should be bragging about," she growled, as his fingers pinched her nipple. He pulled her in close by the waist and began undoing his own clothes with one hand, while the other continued to massage her breasts.
"You want me to fuck you or not?" he quipped.
Within a moment he was naked, making Lin all the more hotter for him. For now she she had a guttural need to fulfill, but once everyone left, she had detailed plans of how she was going to rip those clothes off and ravage him until dawn.
With his hands on her hips, he pressed her against the wall behind and sucked on her neck. His hands traveled all over her body, inciting a soft moan from her lips.
"Besides," he whispered, "last I checked you were the one who wanted me finish faster because you couldn't take it anymore."
"Oh just fuck me already!" she demanded, kissing his mouth.

Hello chiefbeifongcanrailme!!
I wanted to let you know that i love your posts about our beloved Chief Beifong. I have a question though that it feels like it needs to be answered. What would happened if Tenzin found out Lin left Republic City after their break up and can back years later with a family of her own (say a fantastic husband with 4-5 kids)? Would Tenzin be jealous?!?
Hello, hello!
Thank you so much! It's so nice to know that you like my posts🥺
I think Tenzin would absolutely be jealous. His whole reality shatters. He feels loss and heartbreak like he never has. And this true for whether or not ends up with Pema and the kids.
Jealous would be an understatement. Jealous would be if he- just from the corner of eye- saw another man trying to woo Lin. Jealous would be if he caught wind of Lin simply enjoying another man's company.
Lin returning to Republic City with a whole husband and kids- Tenzin would probably metaphorically freeze in an iceberg for a hundred years.
Thank you for the ask!
