i think the first moment is when he's unhappy or doesn't like something and i present myself with what i think is my pretty neutral curiosity about things and ask him about how he's feeling / what he's thinking / how it works / and other questions. i'm very aware not everyone likes to be asked questions :') but i kind of see sae's backstory as like always taking care of other people and people make assumptions about what he is (e.g. that he's a genius) and what he wants and i don't make any assertions about him so to be asked is nice in a way. i think everyone appreciates having the effort put in to understand and see them and this (asking questions and someone's preferences) is how i put my efforts in. neither of us assume the worst about each other, which is unlike how many others have. we take the time to get to know each other and i think that really matters to both of us <3

the second moment is when he realizes all those questions weren't just me asking them in the moment but that i actually take them into account. i talk a lot about to be loved is to be known and i think umm like when he mentions liking or not liking certain things and i make the effort to make sure those things are included or excluded. like i think (my personal hc) he doesn't like to be at parties and socialize for a super long time, and so if he has to i show up! and whisk us away to somewhere quiet for a bit. make up an excuse on my end so it doesn't look like he as his lil famous football self had any bad intentions <3 to be media safe yes yes hehe
