House Fire

In this scene, I was traveling.  Mostly by car.  I’m not sure where I was going, but I know my dad was following me.  I was messaging Deena through Instagram.  We were sharing funny posts back and forth at first, then I checked her story.  She had posted a screenshot of her conversation with her girlfriend.  Deena was going to surprise her girlfriend with a new house, but it had caught fire.  Her girlfriend seemed nonchalant about it in the messages and showed no interest in Deena’s safety.  Then her girlfriend said that she wanted to end things between them.  After reading the screenshot, I sent her a message saying “Noooo”.  She explained that she was upset, but I reassured her that it was God protecting her from them moving in together.  As I was traveling, I sent what had happened to my mom and told her to pray for Deena.  Instead, my mom sent back multiple insensitive messages.  She sent a message that I had said in the past about my ex: along the lines of “BUT I LOVE HIM''.  I told her that wasn’t funny at all and there was no reason to even bring that up.
