let me dissect this for a bit the art direction quality is so good to me. The line weight and style is super expressive, I love when artists use textured brushes it adds so much personality. Plus it takes the look of old classic comic styles that have black shading, frankly my top fave for the easy contrast. Im not surprised it's as charming as it Is because it was done by a cartoonist

The color choices are SO atmospheric and nice on the eye, I think if it weren't for that it wouldn't pop out as much. I know b&w or comics with base colors are just as good and readable but the color work really does it for me in this case. Imo the team did a really good job putting this up together, stellar work... definitely a big inspo for comic making
