Growing up, the greatest entertainer of all time shared the same name as mine, which automatically created a connection. This project came to me a couple years after Michael Jackson passed. After putting one blend together, I felt the obligation to continue and make it a project. It seemed like the right thing to do with MJ being my biggest musical influence and Hip-Hop being my main focus. The album had me going through my VHS, DVD, cassette, CD and vinyl collections, as well as old interviews and even seasons of the Jackson Family Variety Show.
