Yeahhh, I don't get it. I mean, I do -- nothing says "performance" like being in a band / DJing, and it's an easy-in to """critiquing the concept of """""celebrity"""""""" -- but a lot of the art-schoolers who start bands now seem to be doing it for totally different reasons than people in the last generation who followed the same trend. I think this is one reason I won't really listen to MIA's music unless forced.
