Fates, help him from singing his own damnation. Cursed lips had never looked so inviting as did the sweet words that dripped from lavender laced lips in the spring coming wind.          with  uncharacteristic  recessiveness  her  entire  self  seems  to  lean  slightly  away   ,   fingers  curling  tightly  in  her  lap  in  anticipation  for  his  reaction .    needless  anxiety  previously  prompted  blurted  words  in  order  to  justify  her  gifts    &   though   ,   yes   ,   mellow  tones  hardly  faltered  from  the  norm   ,   it  feels  painfully  obvious  that  she  isn't  used  to  this .    tsuyu  braces  herself  for  whatever's  to  come  with  balled  -  up  fists   ━ 

           ━   &   those  fists  seem  to  loosen  as  quickly  as  they  tightened   ,   a  hand  grabbed  in  his  own  with  only  a  muttered  nickname .    she's  confused  to  put  it  simply   &   it's  ever  apparent  in  knitted  brows .    does   ...   he  like  it  ?    she's  sure  that  he   ,   at  the  very  least   ,   doesn't  dislike  it   ;   nobody  in  their  right  mind  will  deny  a  meal   &   candy .    but  does  he  truly   ,   genuinely  like  it  ?    a  rational  mind  attempts  to  rationalize  with  irrational  anxiety   /   somebody  so  easy  to  read  would  show  more  signs  of  distaste  if  he  didn't  enjoy  it .    dubiety  seems  to  remain  nonetheless  until  she  notices  determined  features  hesitantly  leaning  forward .    with  that  she  stares   ,   wide  eyes  stuck  on  freckled  cheeks  until  izuku  suddenly  pushes  forward  !

          lips  press  onto  her  own   &   they  go  just  as  quickly   ,   leaving  tsuyu  utterly  shocked .    throughout  her  class   &   surely  others  who  have  crossed  her  path  she  is  known  for  an  unmatched   ,   unbreakable  composure .    but  how  can  she  keep  calm  with  this  !?    mirroring  his  own  actions   ,   a  hand  lifts  to  cover  a  gaping  mouth .    maybe  this  isn't  the  case  for  him   ,   but  she  isn't  exactly  used  to  something  like  that  !    she  can't  even  put  together  something  cohesive  to  respond  with   ;   flushed  cheeks   &   a  racing  heart  make  it  near  -  impossible  for  the  poor  girl  to  even  think .    thankfully   ,   the  beginnings  of  an  apologetic  rant  fill  the  air  before  she  feels  the  need  to  retreat .

          she  can  only  stare   ,   unable  to  keep  up  with  wild  ramblings  with  her  own  head  spinning .    it's  only  when  he  stops  to  finally  thank  her  that  she  attempts  to  speak  her  own  mind .

          if  hands  weren't  cupped  in  his  own  again  she'd  cover  her  face  entirely  !    to  lose  her  composure  is  embarrassing   ,   but  to  be  reduced  to  a  blushing  mess  like  this  over  something  so  trivial  is  almost  humiliating .    her  head  shakes  in  an  attempt  to  brush  it  off .
