Branislav Bane Lainović (1955), called Dugi and (in Novi Sad) Lajavi, was killed on March 20, 2000 around 16:15, in front of the hotel "Srbija" in Ustanička Street, Belgrade. Lainovic was standing in front of the kiosk, waiting for someone when a young man approached him in a red jacket from the back and fired three shots from a pistol; two of Lainovic got into the head, and the perpetrator escaped in the direction of Vojislav Ilić Street. The news of the assassination arrived in Novi Sad soon from a police source, which added that Lainovic was on that day in an informative interview. If this is true, then this is the second such conversation these days: for the first time, on March 9, he was invited to such an interview in Novi Sad; the word was about his possible knowledge of the assassination of Zeljko Raznatovic Arkan. Before Ljajic, and after Arkan's murder, Mirko Tomic Bosanac and Radoslav Bata Trlaja Trlajic were killed. Bagzi testified that Duća Spasojević had ordered the killing, and that they were done by Kalinic and Milos Simovic. As Bagzi says, Simovic shot him, after which he sat in the car, released the music and started singing. Long told the phone at the time of the murder and waited for someone, and it was allegedly followed by the mobile Zemunci signal and instructed that "the swords came to the hole". Evening before his death, Dugi confided to his brother Zarko: "It makes me sick of my head and I'm afraid I will not get away, because these are small mice who crossed the Drina to kill babies and grandfathers in order to become heroes. These are not people, they will do this insane behind the corner. " Dugi was allegedly killed because he was a friend of the people who organized Arkan's murder, but since I did not have anything to do with it, it is believed that the zemunci were killed in order to take over Novi Sad where they were denied entry where Lajavi was a knight guardian of the Zemun an attack that spread throughout Serbia. Branislav Lainovic from Vrbas, a former basketball player, went to the white world in the 1970s. He said that he dealt there with everything except for prostitution and drugs, that he was the "pullen" of the late Ljube Magas Zemunac whom he loved. Interesting is the story of how they met him and Ljuba. The Yugoslav boss told him that he liked his jacket and that he was, to what young Bane said: "You will have to take it yourself!" Ljuba laughed and embraced him, and since then he has become his patron and friend. Long was also a great friend of Gishkin, he was in the Serbian Guards he took over after Gishka's death. Once the guard was formed, it was agreed that they would have nothing to do with the SPO or any party. With that, everyone agreed, and Dugi said: "I have not served under the star five hours, so I will not be under Danica!" Dugi settled down in Novi Sad where he invested his money and did not allow racketeers and drugstore gangs to work in Novi Sad. The long everyone respected the citizens because he did a lot for Novi Sad, the local authorities for securing peace, as well as the police, so it was known that Dugi drove mercedes without tables and no one touched him. Nevertheless, he bothered Zemunci who wanted to penetrate the big Vojvodina market. He survived the wound when he was a friend of Milan Vukobrad Boska, Mile Bosanac who saved him and took him to the hospital. Since he was invited to an informative interview in Novi Sad on the circumstance of any possible knowledge of the assassination of Zeljko Raznatovic, Lainovic became angry. He does not know - he said - nothing about it; Then he added: "I understand the pain of Arkan's family ... but I know very well the pain he has inflicted on others, but there is nothing to be said about it, although many in Belgrade have turned black." After his assassination, the New People were grieving for their patron, and for that they had reasons. Zemunci have come to Novi Sad, some have bought, some have been killed and became rulers of the northern province of Serbia. One of the Novi Sad boys who will have to accept to work for them was Miladin Suvajdzic called Dura Mutavi. In the end, he will come to his head and as a witness associate will reveal all their darkest secrets. By  RUDAR 7
