~Love is in the Air~
At Paris Frameworks, we framed ‘Venus e Passaro’ by Milton Dacosta, a painting on canvas, in a double frame. This frame was made by putting two frames together, making the piece more important and adding emphasizing the luxurious nature of the painting. The inside of the frame is made of ash wood, with a white wash on top, that is slightly grey, so it won’t overpower the white in the painting. The outer sides are made from a maple wood with a white rub, mimicking the light pink in the painting. The edges of both the frames are white gold leaf with a black clay rub underneath to tie the two frames together.
