Review on @theactualdarkness new album EASTER IS CANCELLED by Tony Gorry, singer with @mindriotmt who supported The Darkness in 2017 on their Tour De Prance Irish dates. "My initial reaction is classic rock at its best, riffs and guitars at its finest, since How Can I Lose Your Love. Big guitars and powerful vocals on this album, as much as drums which, from start to finish, lock in beautifully with the bass line. Personal favorites of mine are the upbeat Heart Explodes and Heavy Metal Lover, which I find has a strong alternative influence. All in all, Easter Is Cancelled has the making of one of the finest albums. Some of my favorites guitar work from Dan and Justin since I started listening to them, all those years ago, so basically if you like classic rock with a twist of alternative undertones and vocals, and guitar solos worthy of Rock Gods... look no further. The Darkness, Easter Is Cancelled. 🤘🏻" - Pictures courtesy @tonygmindriot Venue @dolans_limerick Limerick, Dublin, Belfast October 13th 2017 - #tonygmindriot #TheDarkness #theactualdarkness #easteriscancelled #albumreview #review #newalbum #newalbum2019 #outnow #newmusic #newmusic2019 #newmusicalert #rockandrolldeservestodie #heartexplodes #conceptalbum #paralleluniverse #classicrock #hardrock #metal #heavymetal #glammetal #glamrock #guitarsolo #guitarsolos #DanHawkins #JustinHawkins #RufusTTaylor #FrankiePoullain #danhawkinsofthedarkness #danlingforever (at Dolans Warehouse) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3UNRTfHt91/?igshid=1n1y9dztw8gvq
