Interview with Hanbei

(inspired by @scarbladed, tagging anyone who is interested.)

1. WHAT IS YOUR NAME?

“Hanbei, Takenaka Hanbei.”

2. WHAT IS YOUR REAL NAME?  

“Takenaka Shigeharu, but no one refers to me as such.”

3. DO YOU KNOW WHY YOU’RE CALLED THAT?

“No, I never believed it to be worth contemplating. Hideyoshi calls me Hanbei, so for all intensive purposes my name is not Shigeharu, it is is Hanbei.”

4. ARE YOU SINGLE OR TAKEN?

“The war leaves me little time to consider relationships that are not of a political nature,” He dodged the question nonchalantly. There was a wife at one point but she left his life long ago. 

5. WHAT ARE YOUR POWERS AND ABILITIES?

“I am first and foremost a tactician although I am capable of fighting. I’ve been told I’m a genius,” He chuckled, “It is quite flattering.”

6. WHAT COLOR ARE YOUR EYES?

“I fail to see why it is relevant but purple, much like deadly nightshade according to a particularly poetic foe of mine.”

7. HAVE YOU EVER DYED YOUR HAIR?

“No. It is and has been, for as long as I recall, white.”

8. DO YOU HAVE ANY FAMILY MEMBERS?

“The Toyotomi Army is all the family I need although I do have a son, Takenaka Shigekado.”

9. DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS?

“No. There is no use in such a thing during this period of warfare.”

10. TELL ME ABOUT SOMETHING YOU DON’T LIKE.

“I dislike those who go against the Toyotomi. as it interferes with Hideyoshi achieving his dream of uniting the land.”

11. DO YOU HAVE ANY HOBBIES OR ACTIVITIES YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

“I have little spare time as of late due to my work as the Toyotomi’s tactician, however, I do enjoy the arts.”

12. HAVE YOU EVER HURT ANYONE BEFORE?

“Haven’t we all?”

13. HAVE YOU EVER… KILLED ANYONE?

“We are at war. My hands are stained with much blood but sacrificing lives is necessary in order to succeed in this war-torn era. The men are aware of this.”

14. WHAT KIND OF ANIMAL ARE YOU?

“I would not know. I have been called a snake by some but it does not concern me.”

15. NAME YOUR WORST HABITS.

“It would be ill-advised to voice my weaknesses where my enemies could overhear, would it not?” He stated, contemplating what would even be his worst habit. His tendency to lie to avoid causing Hideyoshi concern? 

His devotion to Hideyoshi? No, that was never a bad thing... perhaps his focus on rationality above friendship sometimes went too far...? His deep desire to be needed and to be useful was troublesome now and then. 

16. DO YOU LOOK UP TO ANYONE?

“A ridiculous question. Of course. Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is difficult not to adore his overwhelming strength. This world can only truly blossom under Hideyoshi.”

17. GAY, STRAIGHT, OR BISEXUAL?

“Irrelevant, shall we move on?” 

He never really stopped to consider it. He had been married once but his blind devotion to Hideyoshi left him little time to consider romance. 

18. DO YOU GO TO SCHOOL?

“No, I do not currently attend any institution. Were I not already an educated man, you would find the war does not leave much time for studies. All men must fight.”

Unless of course, it was Gakuen Basara the reporter was seeking information on, in which case Hanbei had been suspended alongside Hideyoshi for leading an armed student revolt.

19. DO YOU EVER WANT TO MARRY AND HAVE KIDS SOMEDAY?

“Again? Perhaps. Now is not the time for such trivialities.”

20. DO YOU HAVE ANY FANS?

“I suppose. Mitsunari-kun is quite devoted to Hideyoshi and I.”

21. WHAT ARE YOU MOST AFRAID OF?

“Running out of time,” He murmured with a sigh, playing it off as his being in a rush to leave despite the fact those words resonated deeply within his heart. He did not want to run out of time, to fail to see Hideyoshi achieve his dream...

22. WHAT DO YOU USUALLY WEAR?

“This uniform that I am in now. Your eyes, work, do they not?”

23. DO YOU LOVE SOMEONE?

“If by love you mean have the utmost respect for, than Hideyoshi. As I have already said, romance is not a concern of mine.”

24. WHAT CLASS ARE YOU?

“I am no farmer, if that is what you desire to know.”

25. HOW MANY FRIENDS DO YOU HAVE?

“Strong organizations are built on rationality not friendship.”

26. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON PIE?

“What is pie, exactly? Something foreign?”

27. FAVORITE DRINK?

“Tea. Sake will not do, as one needs a clear head to strategize effectively.”

29. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE?

“I am content by Hideyoshi’s side.”

30. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SOMEONE?

“Have I not made it clear that I care not?”

31. WOULD YOU RATHER SWIM IN THE LAKE OR THE OCEAN?

“I have no time for recreation but the ocean could be pleasant. It is rather vast.”

32. WHAT’S YOUR ‘TYPE’?

"I prefer those who do not ask foolish questions,” He stated dismissively. 

33. ANY FETISHES?

“How crude to discuss. I shall leave that to your imagination.”

34. TOP OR BOTTOM? DOMINANT OR SUBMISSIVE?

“There is no need to pry into my private life, move on.”

35. CAMPING, OR INDOORS?

“I am capable of both but prefer to spend my time in Osaka Castle doing my job.”

36. ARE YOU WAITING FOR THIS INTERVIEW TO BE OVER?

“Indeed, I have much to do. I am needed elsewhere at this time, if I might be excused.”

Hey there guys, how have you been?

I know I’ve been away from the internet for a while, believe, I’ve been really REALLY busy. If you are interested about, I’m gonna write it down here, but first... I’m aware about the new policy thing and I’m gonna spend my free time looking for post of mine that are fl*gged.

Anyway, I’ll try as hard as I can to keep at least this blog alive after this, I can’t say the same for my main @neorukix since it might have a few stuff that I can understand the reason of the “warning” but others that have nothing wrong, also, might as well reveal the s*n blog now that it might die :) it is was “kyuubeisbanana” and for that same reason, it won’t let me tag it nor make it available for the search engine, sorry guys.

Thanks for your attention so far and for being so patient with me this whole time during my absence, now as for my status, gonna put it in read more because this is already so long~

So yeah, graduating is consuming my time like A LOT, for my graduation I need to complete a thesis so you can imagine what is consuming my time right now.

Another fact is how I have been spending time arguing with my internet and electricity company, like I’m paying the internet + phone on time and even earlier so I don’t have any troubles or at least that’s what I thought, for months my connection has been awful thus I don’t actually have access, hopefully I won’t have troubles again.

With the electricity company, the trouble was that someone else was receiving my bills and they payed without noticing while I received that person’s bills, of course I noticed it right away but there still were problems about this for a while so basically I stayed like a month or so without electricity (plus the internet troubles) and my uni internet is not really used for tumbling and I’m lazy af to unlock all the social media each time I use a computer so meh.

Also, since my time at school is not that much, I started to work and with the training plus actual work, let’s say that for now I’m working all week with just Sundays free which I use to sleep, listen my cats purr and try to work on my thesis. On daily basis I came home pretty late (sometimes at 9 pm, sometimes at 11 pm so the only thing I want to do is eat, bath and sleep).

Now that is December, I’m having time to breathe and since my thesis is all about drawing, I’m taking some time to rest my hand (maybe), sleep and catch up with animus like Hugtto Precure (bless Henri btw~), Gakuen Basara, Bandori and Yagakimi which, I was really looking forward since I read the manga and been following for a while so it’s all I ever wanted.

By the way, the reason I deleted the Instagram app from my phone was so I could install Bandori :) and honestly, with no art to post, I supposed it was fine, haven’t checked he account in a while haha, sorry but it’s IG’s fault because I would easily post from a computer! Why it must be a phone only social media?

So yeah, in my free time at job I use my phone data to play and I felt in love with the lesbeans~ Can’t wait for the season 2 of the animu, also thanks that Garupa Pico is only 3 mins long I can actually watch it weekly with my phone data.

If you read all of this, you mean the world to me, it just felt right to tell you guys this, in case you were worried because even my classmates asks me why I’m not longer posting stuff so I thought that internet folks might be worried as well, once again, let me thank you all for your patience and support, even if this site dies, I hope you can still support me in other sites.

This'll be the last set of rankings for awhile, since later this week the weeb tour returns as we begin a weeklong excursion into Aichi and Gifu. Expect the usual barrage of touristy photos and delicious comfort food.

Shinkalion (Last: 1): HAYATO AND RYUJI FOUGHT A DEFENSIVE BATTLE AND BYAKKO ADMITTED DEFEAT, BUT THEN TORAME SHOWED UP AND RUINED EVERYTHING. BYAKKO WAS INJURED WHILE HELPING THE HUMANS WIN AND FOUND HIMSELF AT THE MERCY OF AN EVEN BIGGER BAD.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Last: 3): Rimuru defeated the boss of the Direwolves and had them ally with the goblins, and everybody leveled up after being named. But hobgoblins are bad at crafting, so Rimuru left to establish relations with the dwarves.

SSSS Gridman (Last: 2): Akane's latest creation, Anti, seemingly defeated Gridman, but more weapons arrived at the shop and Calibur revealed they were just waiting to ambush the kaiju. The second match, with a new beefy arm attachment, went much more smoothly.

Hinomaru Sumo (Last: 5): In a practice match, Ushio's eyes were on Kuze Sosuke, the son of a champion barred from competition because he was too strong. Ushio got him into the ring after a spirited win against Kariya Shun, but they fought indesiviely thanks to an interruption.

Gakuen Basara (Last: 4): Otani's plan to sow chaos by convincing Tokugawa to help the wary baseball team resulted in Masamune developing a killer new pitch. Later, Takeda told his ward to experience lots of things while young, so Yukimura tried and failed to be bad.

Run With the Wind (Last: 7): Haiji got the guys running a 10K every morning with the help of local high school girl and willing assistant Akane. They started to come around despite Kurahara's objections, so now HE looks like the unreasonable one.

Golden Kamuy (Last: NR): Ogata used Shiraishi and Sugimoto to track down the fakes created by Edogai. The chase took them all into a mine, which exploded before they could recover the skins. Now both Sugimoto and Hijikata's groups are stuck a step behind Tsurumi without a plan.

JJBA: Golden Wind (Last: 8): Giorno's interview was unconventional... to prove he could be trusted, he had to keep a lighter lit for an entire day. So of course he had to navigate around a million flame-dousing obstacles before learning it was an enemy Stand.
