Happy Thanksgiving! ~ This tiny 1:12 scale Thanksgiving scene won 3rd place in the Little-Dreamers' 2012 Holiday Contest (over on DeviantArt) I was just going to make the turkey shaped roll basket, but once you make a basket, of course you need to sculpt and paint tiny rolls to go inside. And because I like making scenes so much, I needed to make a few more things to match. So I dug out the paper punches and made leaves. Then I made some ridiculously tiny construction paper chains. Thought I was done, but the table looked like it could use a center piece. I sculpted some candles, quilled some paper for a candle holder (with leaves and seed beads), glued it all together, and finished this project by sealing the basket/rolls/candle holder with Polycrylic. This was my second attempt making a tiny turkey basket, and I was so happy with how well it turned out.
